I am a huge fan of V(1983) V the Final Battle (1984) V the Series (1984-1985). Then in 1986 I graduated from high school in Hacienda heights, CA.
the way she looked in the shuttle with the black pilot as their heads turn at the same time, its the image from v i will never forget, absolutely iconic

A little history: The initial theme by Dennis McCarthy (ruclips.net/video/OVKP2utjjzA/видео.html) was good, but did not carry the sinister nature of the threat posed by the visitors, so another theme was commisioned written by Barry DeVorzon and Joseph Conlan using a Prophet 5 and DX-7 synths for the main Final Battle theme. This is the one that made it to broadcast and in this video.

Exactly they should leave remaking, classics that this alone. Cause they'll never have the same feel, tension and rawness as the main V. I have the whole collection and watching them now, still excites me draws me in. Just as much now, as first seeing it on TV 📺 years ago
Thomas Page I've watched a couple of recent interviews with Jane Badler in Australia and,quite rightly, she said her character was wasted in the reboot & the new producers didn't pay homage to the original mini series.
As a brown haired lady i remember that Faye grant mesmerized me as a gorgeous.. blonde .. i was like Diana so... blonde ladies like Julie parrish , lydia were bombs to me., very lovely. I often wonder now watching thèse vids again if Diana wasn't into women? She seems to be a lesbian..and very close to women , very tactile.
Shout out to mike Donovan and the heroic , beautiful and iconic Julie Parish . Marc singer and Faye Grant inspired me with their performances ! I can't forget Mike Ironside as Ham Tyler ! You guys made this show and mrs. Balder is super sexy and wicked in her role as Diana . I would make love to that reptile in a heartbeat .
Why no one in modern time hasnt made a video game out of this is beyond me. If I could I would. Thinking like a Mass Effect style type of game with this story and characters.
This is a very good tribute to V, this series is still great.. I wish they could get a Sci-Fi streaming channel, that could stream science fiction past present, and future...

one thing i never got was how an alien lizard species could have sex with a human to create offspring. Imagine the reverse where humans colonised a primitive alien world and went around disguised as these reptile creatures. there's no way you could ever have the hots for a lizard in order to create a hybrid reptile/human creature. The only way would be through artificial insemination. That was one of the main issues i had with the series. But then this sort of thing often happens when a TV series needs more and more new narrative angles in order to continue. Anyway i still love the soundtrack and the first 2 series of V.
Alas they don't" make em" like they used to. Yes the special effects are better now, but everything looks the same. You just don't get to be as invested in characters anymore. I "just" loved willie.
