V sure was one the best Scify series made in the mid 1980s and 1990s! Even its remake can't touch the power of the original V miniseries and 3 parter of V The Final Battle!
One of the best series ever! Thanks for this! I didnt sleep well that dark and cold winter night back in 1988 when first saw the first episode as 8 year old.

Have to say V, is one of the best things from the 1980's. I still love it. Marc Singer is the man. Wish it can be remade again but with better pacing, and more action.
There's another video on the channel with V action edited together, search for V soundtrack suite and it should come up. I agree its one of the best of the 80s! 👍

It is fun to watch my childhood memories, so I can remember what makes my dreams alive...
As a kid, I was in awe as 2:17 Julie (Faye Grant) stands up alone with just a handgun to the attacking alien aircraft. A very powerful scene. It epitomized a young, inexperienced fighter finding the courage within them to face overwhelming odds. It was nearly 40 years ago and I still remember it vividly.
For the better.
Faye Grant is such a talented and beautiful actress.

Love it! The only one missing is when the resistance attacks the food processing plant...they get owned due to wrong ammo.

Ham Tyler: the best!
I don't know if it was intentional or not on the part of the creators of the series, but during the gunfire sequences, they do well showing the difference between the "amateurs" and "professionals." Ham, Chris, Martin and even Donovan (having covered so much fighting, he probably learned quite a lot) are portrayed as disciplined fighters -- careful, deliberate aiming, short bursts of automatic fire at visible targets, while the others are shown fighting determinedly, but using a lot more ammo and with less accuracy.
so why didnt tyler teach them and such he was so cocky but theh as he said damaged goods he become damaged goods when they converted him

V was absolutely fantastic. The remake had potential but ended up being a letdown.
Theres a review of the remake on the channel, yes the show is a letdown haha! ✌
@@filmdirt I think the problem was they did try to come away too much from the original. So it really did not have the same feel as the original V
Thought the resistance was on a budget...
As a kid..I always thought the Visitors weapons were so cool (the design of them). As an adult....yeah...they are still cool as fuck. The one issue I had with the series is that they used alot of the same footage from the original or the final battle. Especially with the shuttle fighting scenes.
Yes...they did budget issues...
