Derek Bialy Blaustein So as someone who was actually in the military, I can say that one person can be of the same rank as someone else, and still hold positional power over them. This is actually quite common because rank/pay grade offers a distinctive type of authority, while position offers another kind. Someone can be the same rank as you, and still “outrank” you based on either their position (duty title), or their time in grade. An Air Force Group Commander is oftentimes a Colonel, however the Wing Commander (which may also be a Colonel or in rare cases a Brigadier General) always outranks the Group Commander (because a group is subordinate to a wing). So if you have two Colonels, and one of them is the Wing Commander, he is the ranking officer by default. Similar situations occur in the Army and Navy as well, so I assume the same would hold true in this rank structure. Diana is a “commander”, but Pamela is called “supreme commander”. They are both commanders, but Pamela’s authority supersedes Diana’s because of her position (being sent directly by the leader to take charge).
the thing is space ships like the star trek enterprise in the original series, are not really what i would call a real space ship, and what i would call it is just a film, set, when i think about the original battlestar galactica, and even more of the mother ships, in v, they too me, are more like actual proper space ships, that no doubt in my mind, i can really walk around, and touch every surface, and because know doubt we do not enough about these vast flying saucers which is maybe a good thing, i now want to visit there home planet. which no doubt is so technology, advanced, that these lizaards, can just built of of these proper space ships, no doubt in only a few months. not that is what i want to see, of of these space ships being built, even no doubt if i would be taking part in there construction, beneath a whip.
*Because* impossible alien names are hard to relate to. Why are you surprised by this btw? Most Americans/British won't see a non-English language movie. Too alien for them. Yet it's their own species. This is why Hollywood makes English language *remakes* of movies which were hits elsewhere. The writers of V were astute enough not to go the way of Star Trek with weird Klingon and Vulcan names.
Lord Christ Jesus Our Saviour Said: Beware of Spiritual Strongholds from Space. Be then Perfect like Our Heavenly Father IS: Allow's His Light to Shine and Water to Rain to Good and Evil. So I'd say it's more likely that it was just a screw up 😅
Derek Bialy Blaustein So as someone who was actually in the military, I can say that one person can be of the same rank as someone else, and still hold positional power over them.

What I find weird is, why are they using human names for these aliens?
Good One's love The Light and Are Glad of Cleansing Rain. Those who Are Evil hate The Light and refuses to Be cleansed By Water of Life. That IS a funny joke yet Truth: They can't stand The Light so Be then Perfect like Your Heavenly Father IS ❤😍🌻🌞
Its bout d,$556hg time..
Love how they wear fake skins and speak English even when it's not necessary.
Seems logical to me: Human can be on ship for diplomatic reason. They must not see lizard. And maybe the process to get the human skin is painful and/or humiliating and/or intrusive. Human skin covers everything, including their nethers.
For the language ... I always thought they have machine replacing their own langage by another, so they can't speak visitorese when they want.
I'm more concerned with their blatant disregard at basic security measures.
