Seriously I've never seen or heard one bad word about this guy he's awesome
I used to bump into Stephen every morning when i used to work in an office furniture factory in Kirkby in the mid 90's, we didn't know each other but recognised each other every time we saw one another. Proud of ya mate.
Kirkby in Ashfield?
Love that he’s from kirkby and such a good actor.....also from kirkby and living in AZ and US for 39 years. Miss people from Liverpool.
I love how all these British actors from humble beginnings jack O’Connell, Stephen graham, Kaya Scodelario have all made it big In Hollywood.
Just goes to show it doesn’t where your from it’s the work you put in.
His accent has never got weaker and I love that about him.
what do you call this accent?
VaddaHahn scouse!
@@bruceybog-trotter5583 thanks a lot! And what would you call the accent of hatchet harry from lock stock?:)
VaddaHahn cockney!
@@bruceybog-trotter5583 awesome! thanks so much
His acting in The Virtues was superb.
Man, so well deserved for Stephen Graham. His work on This is England is masterful. This is a guy who is excellent in EVERYTHING he is in. He could stand with say a Philip Seymour Hoffman or Joaquin Phenix as far as power and intensity.
What a great block he is so humble...great actor!!!!
Stephen is a top bloke yeah. His raw emotion in films is so real. Its like he's speaking to yous through the screen. Much respect brother. So many amazing films.
Stephen Graham lives the emotions of the characters he's playing. He eliminates the need to 'act' and simply lives the role. A sign of the very very best in the industry
he's fucking great. I'm American. Watched him in Band of Brothers, Boardwalk Empire, Gangs of NY and had no idea he was a Brit until later on.
One of the best emotional actors I have ever seen
Went from a football hooligan in England to one of the biggest gangsters of all time Al Capone
He wasn’t a football hooligan in This Is England. He was a right wing/neo Nazi Skinhead. But not a Hooligan.
He was a football hooligan in Awaydays
Me Right. I didn’t know. And the way that He wrote it sounded like He was saying that He played a hooligan in TIE.
He could well have meant that mate but maybe by coincidence or maybe he knew, I don’t know.
@@me5969 😂😂
One of my favorite actors. Brilliant in the Irishman
What a lovely geezer. Big star, but still down to earth and humble. Deserves all his success.
You know you're still humble when you get nervous saying the names of great actors and directors you perform with. Lovely!
One of my top favorite actors 🇬🇧
Yeah he's such an underappreciated actor!
I met him briefly and Paddy Considine at a music event in Manchester. Just seemed like a couple of normal down to earth blokes.
Stephen Graham is 1 of the best actors...Ever. He's mesmerising to watch in every single project. Once, again, totally underrated.
What a great interview, Chris is determined to big Steve up, despite his genuine modesty making him squirm!
Literally had no idea dude was British.. mind blownnn... potentially the best al Capone role played by a Bloke hats off 👏👏🐐
You must be the only one in this planet who don’t know that this bloke is Brit
@@jesaelito well now I know fatty 😉
He is amazing! Absolutely adore him!!
Baordwalk Empire brought me here ! Wow I didn't know Stephen was English ! That make him playing Al Copone more wow!
Steve is a great actor, i liked the role he played in little boy blue about rhys jones, i bet it was a hard role to play, god blesd u steve and all the work you do.
Such a fucken good actor
THIS IS ENGLAND 🏴
One of the best character actors of our generation.
Love him!
Doing the wool shouts when he’s from Kirby 😂😂😂
Gunterstryke How can you be a wool if you’re from Kirkby ?
@@Ryan-kn6xd Its better than birko though innit bless him he's tryin
1st time I saw him was in Snatch .. I immediately thought "these 2 (him & Statham) are gonna be kinda big"
i just love him to bits
Rate him highly he’s a top bloke 👍🏻
Great actor, great man. No need to say anymore! 👍🏼
Best actors ever. Steven Graham, Bradley Gleason, Jonathan Harris, Idris Alba in no order.
You bolloxed the names of two of ‘em.
One of the best actors in the world!
He's my friend ( Alfie Graham ) dad
Yeah, Stephen Graham is a proppa legend!
I love love love Stephen
Dancing through the dark was the first time I saw Stephen. I was a nipper too and I'd say all the lines he did while playing footie in the park. Knew he was a star back then.
From my area him😎 top actor
Not a movie person myself but he is a top actor.
Absolutely phenomenal actor
A brilliant actor love his work.
Needs a show of his own, proper sound bloke and compelling to listen to, I had to google him a year or so ago as every time I'd see him in something I'd be like "who is that bloke I see him in allsorts and he's always quality"
CallitHowISeeIt top bloke in person too. Smashed gear with him in the toilets of my work Xmas party 😂
Fantastic actor comes over as a really nice guy too.
I thought he said "There all Mancs" "Tom anks" lol
Big fan of this lad 👍🏻
As an American, I had no idea that Al Capone was English, let alone Scouse.
By an absolute mile EASY, the best fucken actor in the world, he is even better than Robert de Niro.
A very talented actor
I love the way he pronounces "proper!"
Favourite actor
Love Stephan as Combo in This is England. Dude is for real the fucking goat.
If there was such a thing as a ‘sycophant meter’, Chris Moyles would have destroyed it during this interview.
Legend
Actually love this guy
Great actor!!
Stephen graham would be awesome be as kano in mortal kombat movie .
Stephen Graham is a top fella
Britain’s best actor
The only a lister in Hollywood who know s what 'wollyback land' means! 😄
Has Stephen been in a project with Charles dance?
Stephen Graham should be knighted. Legend!! Just a shame he was interviewed by the ever bumbling idiot Chris Moyles. #nevermindthebuzzcocks
He's my friends dad ( Alfie Graham ) love you bro :D
Chickotic he’s my uncle
@@halolfazemod2908 who are you called
Chickotic My name ask him my first name is Corey
Bullshit!!!
He likes my cereal, Golden Graham
He pulled off rico like gary oldman pulled off drexl
Watching this in 2020
If Stephen went to Eton College or Harrow, he would be a Hollywood actor. The class divide is still real.
Wasn't Public Enemies a Hollywood movie?
Gary oldman and Michael caine would disagree
Stephen Graham and Martin Compston are both my favourite actors
What do you call a Scouser in a suit ? The accused
he makes me proud to be a Scouser
Hi La
Talk about typecast.
His Al Capone is his best role
He’s got the minerals
As an American he is one of the most talented and dedicated actors I’ve ever witnessed. The man is a force.
Nobody cares where you from
Craig Charles’s lost brother
Pudd pudd
I’m is 2 cousin I’m scouse to
Why ridicule the accent of such an exciting, talented and versatile actor? It would have been more interesting to investigate how Stephen approaches taking on the personas of such extremely intense characters in his roles. Stephen has star quality to not embarrass these idiots with his own ability to mimic all kinds of accents. Once again Moyles personifies the glorification of under achievement inbetween writing his next "toilet book"
Think its just a bit of fun .. also chris moyles is on radio x in the morning so they probably dont go to deep. Moyles is a tosser though his show is shite.
Simon garfuncle
Birkenhead wooly back land 👌👍
Brooklyn Accent on that guy... FBI should be crying 4 not havin hired him...
love the lad but hes a woolie from kirby
'Tommy the tit...'
He was awesome in snatch
Pissin myself laughing at this, indeed 'Tommy the Tit"
Wasn't Karl a producer for this station?
nightowl XFM
before i wenr into this i said to myself, "i bet he says 'd'ya know whatta mean?'"
first sentence "d'ya know whatta mean?"
When he plays an upper class homosexual .... he can join the top club.
Apart from the army ads get a grip lad
Boss in awaydays tho
Never liked Moyleseys wing man, just seems a bit too much of a fanboy. Creepy
Danny Boy_Dannyboy they’ve known about each other for over 20 odd years, and bin mates all that time.
Seems the adulation is worth it. Real nice fella.
