Why? He is of Mexican descent by ethnicity, but he was born and raised in the US. His native tongue is American English. Not everyone learns to speak the language of their ancestors. See Hanzo’s voice actor, for example. He is Japanese American, but he went on record saying he speaks zero Japanese, just English.

I was scared Torbjörn and the other Swedish character would sound cringe speaking Swedish, but the moment I realised they didn't end up in this video, I got hit with disappointment.
