Warning was the first album I ever bought for myself. It’s not like… AMAZING but there are there were far worse bands making the rounds back then😆 Also I always thought the few seconds after 2:53 were a scratch on the CD instead of being deliberate, wow.
Green Day just becoming a band was really difficult. When they started doing any performances everyone hated them for a long time. My Dad saw two of their first opportunities to be on a stage and they didn’t have a name, were trying to come up in an area of punk and thrash, and were booed and screamed at to stop and leave the second they’d start playing. The first time my dad saw them they couldn’t even get halfway through one song before they were kicked out by the crowd, and the second time they were able to play a little longer but also were forced to leave.
Is there a specific reason they were hated? I feel like there is more to this story. Was this when they were still playing Ozzy Osbourne covers? Was Tré already their drummer or was it the Sweet Children era? Which band era was it exactly? Were they sloppy or did they not like billies voice?

This Chorus is a ripoff of the Screeching Weasel song "I hate your guts" (check it out). Coincidentally, Mike Durnt played bass on that entire Weasel record entitled "How to make enemies & irritate people". Do you agree??
@@mattmcsherry761 “I Hate your guts on Sunday” “If I went with you to Church on Sunday” are not even close? They share the exact same melody, & Mike even played bass. “Arthur Unknown” has a song about Bob Lazar that Billie stole for “Holiday”. Check it out so we can disagree again.
@@mattsheezy5469 I still disagree after 7 years. Also yeah of course, I'm sure Green Day, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band, knows exactly who that is. Unknown is right, because who even are they?
Lol love how he was like saying something and then "Oh that's Jason by the way......... YAY Jason!"
in my opinion the best era of this band, and one of my favorite songs, thanks for sharing this one :)

By this time everyone thought Green Day was done, and then a few years later American Idiot happened.
Didn't they nearly break up at that point?
