Just did my 04 expy eddie bauer 5.4l wheel bearing front driver side. There were a lot of 4x4 versions of this type of vids. Your video was on point. Bought a MOOG wheel bearing from Amazon, $180; Autozone was $250 (duralast). Saved some $$ for a little wait time. Much Mahalo from Hawaii.
Hello there , do you know if it is the same wheel bearing from 2008 - 2013 I would like to replace my 2008 wheel bearing and i found 2013 is it the same ? Thanks a lot (:
If you want but not necessary IMHO. Replaced many hubs with existing bolts with no follow up problems. The hub ring is recessed in the steering knuckle which takes the brunt of the suspension compression force ... not the fastener bolts that holds the hub ring in the knuckle. With over 70 lbs of torque on those large bolts, nothing is coming loose. Thread lock (aka locktite) is overkill. Takes ridiculous amounts of torque sometimes to get these bolts loose!
Stuck hub. Twice I've had to drive out with a six foot long steel rod sticking out under the front and an eight pound sledge hammer (three pounder wouldn't do it)
Torque specs, if you need them, are in a Haynes repair manual for your vehicle. They're usually around $25 at you local parts retailer. Here's the link if interested; amzn.to/3cLZIZh
Excellent. Straight forward. No music😄
Thanks!
Gotta love those southern rust free cars. I'm so jealous.
You said it!

Good session. I really enjoyed it. What is the oem part number of the wheel bearing?
Thanks! Aftermarket parts installed so I don't know the OEM part number. Try rockauto.com to get it.
Well done. Great video!
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! I need to do the same job on a Camry. Where did you buy that part from? Thanks.
Thanks! Use this video to work on your Camry front wheel bearing.

No specification torquing ?
All in a Haynes repair manual for this vehicle.

Look up the part on Rockauto.com and you can cross reference the part with other years and vehicles.
You are supposed to replace those large bolts or use locktite due to torque to yield issues

Next time use a slide hammer with an adapter to connect to the lug nut studs. You'll then able to pull it out in lieu of hammering it.
