Any chance you can update this using a different item for the AutoFocus comparison? I think the better quality of the Brio made it show more items in the reflection on your screen so it was trying to autofocus more, so it took longer or was struggling more. Try it on something still that isn't showing a reflection also on it. It will help me make a decision on the two since I rely heavily on close-ups during streaming (pokemon card close-ups)
my dad bought me a c922 for classes and wanted a 4k camera for his work but as he didnt like the microphone design he switched his brio for my c922

Went for the Brio to be used for better quality video for art demonstrations. 60fps also an advantage for smoothness for 1080p videos. Brio has a metal body because its cold to the touch during mornings, plus the Brio heats up during use. Definitely not plastic.

Logitech C922 Pro is fantastic but it lacks in clear Audio or how it sounds. Audio is relevant to me which the BRIO just produces a better overall sound quality. Yes! the BRIO autofocus is not as active or enhanced as the C922 Pro. I myself own the BRIO 4K, not the BRIO Stream so don't get confused. Depending on your budget, the C922 Pro would be my second choice next to the BRIO 4K. Neither is a bad choice as it is a Win - Win. However, 4K resolution lacks adequate support regarding any Webcam. If you desire 4K then you should consider a more advanced and expensive set up like using a DSLR / EOS mirrorless camera such as Canon M50 or SONY A6000 with a RODE microphone or other mic for your 4K creations. Also, program like OSB for live streaming that is free to download.
BRIO has 3 part numbers.
The 960-001105 and 960-001106 are the exact same Brio 4K camera (just marketed to different regions / sectors)
The 960-001194 is a Brio Stream which is a little different (optimized for video Streaming).
BRIO Stream is not as good as the BRIO 4K was released in 2017 and Stream released 6 months later. My understanding is a lens change for the BRIO Stream which delivers a fraction more in Mega Pixels that barely made any significance. Example 8.0mp vs 8.7mp. Again, the BRIO Stream change was to improve 4K ability for Streaming but still failed to deliver because lack of engineering build in such a small device is complicated to do. This is why I had mentioned using a superior Mirrorless Camera that could cost you more than $800 to $2000 providing that is what you really want. Personally 4K was not in my budget nor was it in my interest to do vlogging, blogging, creating 4K RUclips videos or Twitch. I really like the BRIO 4K which I had obtained from Lenovo when they had a promotion for $160 ($172 with sales tax and free S&H) rather than the typical $200. There are some top quality Webcams for Business / Professional Teleconferencing use that cost $800 to $1200.

If you try to show a presentation on a TV screen, will this webcam capture it? My old webcam makes the TV extremely wavy

Tbh, I won’t invest my money on a 4K webcam in the time being as the majority of video calling apps don’t support 4K, but I’m sure in the near future they will start supporting at least 4K!

I have both and have used both for a while. The Logitech Brio 4k Pro wins hands down. Better all around audio and video quality. If you are using it for just video conferencing Both will work fine but if you are planning using the camera of recording yourself offline the Logitech Brio 4k Pro wins hands down. Hope this helps. I also have a Logitech C925 Pro HD not much different than the Logitech C922 Pro HD. Thanks for the review.

I just got this c922 pro, I was expecting the brio 4k, I got freakin lied to. I've already got a brio in storage in Hillsboro Oregon, which I'm stuck in Texas, so it does me no good way the hell over there. Now I got this C series... I'm skeptical a bit. This is just furthering my skepticism
I do like the little tripod, that was a nice touch
So basically, from my research Ive come up with a satisfying result: the brio 4k is smoother, but the C922 is faster, which one do you prefer, I was actually going for the C922 since it can record more fps, but was kind of disappointed by the resolution, still trying to figure it out
