Hopefully the Retroid Pocket 4 will be enough to make it worth getting by improving things enough and get the start and select buttons back on the front of the unit! Still using my RP2+ and waiting for Retroid to release a console that is a big enough of an upgrade for me to want to buy it.
Great video, thanks for testing Road Trip Adventure! :) Ill probably save up for an Odin lite instead, in hopes that it can run the PS2 catalog with a lot less stutters.
Glad to see Outrun 2006 seems to be working like a charm but maybe the PSP version would be better. I'll probably request the Retroid Pocket 3 plus for Christmas and get a 512 GB SD card to store all of the roms on it all the way up to PS2. I wonder if Slugfest 2004 and NBA Street V2 will run smoothly?
I haven't tested tested those games on rp 3+ yet, but I'll update them here once I do it. I'm guessing you will have to tweak the settings anyway to get the best out of it. :) The ps2 emulation is not the best on the retroid pocket 3+, ktr1 is better, and even better option is Odin lite.
@@gilmanator01 a little boiled down but the shadows and car reflections are better, the textures are worse on some places to save space since on the phones of the 2014-ish era they didn't have that much space, and some bugs, but what could you expect from a phone port, but they're okay i guess, but they can crash and have some graphical issues on some newer phones, idk if that applies to the RP3+ cause i don't even have one but i hope it works okay

It depends on your tolerance level of what you can call playable. My tolerance is pretty high because I was a PC gamer growing up and didn't have a high-end graphics card, so anything that used to run with a slight lag, I still used to play 😄

The native Android GTA 1,2, and 3, and Bully ports should run full speed on this Handheld. Skip the PS2 Emulation on those especially. 😕
