Actually I think Dave and Marty pretty much split the solos on this one and there is also a lot of dual guitar - not to take anything away from Marty Freidman - he''s Hall of Fame - no questions asked.
Dave also played a lot of solos on this song.
You can tell who's playing when. Dave has a heavier hand and is more aggresive, Marty plays more reserved aggresive and he embelishes more. Can also tell by the tone from the guitars. :)

@@desiree9832 Say what you want about Mustaine's voice, but the guy can play man, and he's a musical genius when it comes to composition and transitions. Even some of the newer stuff that isn't very good lyrically are musically superior to a ton of other metal ever made. Their last album though was bomb.

More specifically, Marty's showing up Kirk here, or at least I think that was Dave's intention. I'm not hating on Kirk, I like the guy's solos, but Marty is the better guitarist and Dave wanted to make that very obvious.

@@guitozetto2327 Why? Because Dave Mustaine hated Metallica during the recording of the classic Megadeth albums and it was his mission in life to show off and show up Kirk whenever possible. That's also the reason Dave surrounded himself with virtuoso guitarists like Marty (Kirk, as much as I like his playing, is no virtuoso). Those are just historical facts, sorry buddy if you don't like it. That's where Dave's head was at when he wrote this song, so take it up with him if you don't like the idea of Metallica being brought up when classic Megadeth is mentioned. I was merely regurgitating those facts for the benefit of our new metalhead friend Shaq. I don't care who the better guitarist is, it doesn't affect me personally. It looks like it bothers you quite a bit though.
