Man the way they made that look of Stella go demonic like that was really creepy it reminded me of Evangelion Unit-01 going berserk in the Neon Genesis Evangelion remake.
Man can anyone imagine what it would have been like if we got this version of the Strike Freedom in Gundam Seed Destiny or better yet in Gundam Seed Kira would've slaughtered the Earth Forces during the Invasion of Orb all by himself and the 3 druggies wouldn't have stood a chance against the power of the Mighty Strike Freedom man that would have been awesome to see.
As much as the masses say they prefer hand drawn Mechs, I rather like how they used CGI to make the mechs in this one. I am fine with CGI being used like this in Mecha anime as the action is fast paced and beautiful.
That is probably why it requires the Mighty Strike Freedom configuration AND COMPASS Presidential approval to use. Too dangerous for indiscriminate use without authorization.
The ships that were destroyed were drones, while the manned warships looked like they were disabled rather than exploded Also Kira doesn't usually kill unless he has no choice such as if the person in question is too dangerous let live. For example, he killed Rau and was prepared to shoot Durandal. This is just my interpretation, but it looked like Kira gave Orphee and Ingrid a chance to escape as he didn't stab the cockpit directly, only the side.

The idea on MSF power down is to sell the fact it's running so on the limit that the reactor is only slowing the massive drain. Notably the light barrier shields are pushed beyond max to withstand the blows. Also note Kira using the railguns to boost kick forward while assaulted near the surface. Poor suit was giving everything. Also on Lacus, that's what we call in relationships 'apology wear' 😅 but skin tight space suits will always be a thing
If Destiny stuck in SF situation, it still got PS down. Kira got gang up by Shura, Orphee and 3 battle ship behind messiah. The worst luck the SF have was most of it weapon was beam weapon (well only the rail guns on the hip, the spare railgun and the beam saber can deal damage to them) and the MS Orphee use was the better version of the SF Also, Railgun actually use energy. The PS armor does use energy to reduce the heat beside of being immune to live weapon so using missile actually work very well on the MS that have PS armor. During the fight, Kira doesn't deactivate the Wing of Sky and continue fighting while keep using weapon that use energy (beam rifle, beam saber a bit, twin rifle, railgun) And one more thing is Destiny dodging almost perfectly so the Nuclear Battery have time to slowly recover. In the scene where Mu told Shinn to take his equipment, you can see that Destiny lost half of it main energy while other energy remain full

This is a hill that I will die on... Vestige over Meteor for this scene. Both are epic songs and I will never dispute that, but Vestige is Strike Freedom's theme and this is an upgraded Strike Freedom. As badass as the OG Freedom Gundam was, the Strike Freedom is on a whole other level
I can see the merit in the perspective that Meteor is the good guy winning song. While I can agree with that point of view, I feel that Vestige conveys the sheer power of the Strike Freedom which displayed both in this scene as well as when the Strike Freedom made its debut

The weakness of this weapon was the beam is very small so everyone can easily dodge it but to add the cherry on top, no one can see the beam

MSF just overheating before, so docking the wing cooled it down and nuclear reactor can work properly...just cooling problem because overuse power against knight...
