I just purchased a 2013 Pilot, the EX-L with 4WD... Only 113,000 miles on her, service records galore, timing belt and water pump just replaced at 90,000 miles. Regular oil changes, transmission fluid nice and pinkish red, no signs of abuse, female adult owned, no kids or pets. The interior is like it just rolled out of the factory. Even the leather seats are tight and firm, no cracks.
We drove six hours to get her, paid under book value from a dealer in Ohio. Oh, undercarriage is clean as a whistle! No rust! I would say the car spent much of its time in a garage. Very happy.
Thing things will last you a long time. The only issue I had with mine was I need an alternator change which might be for you soon
5:13 I love the sound Honda engines with the 3.5 v6 makes when it’s accelerating
Bought a 2012 with 27k miles in 2014 and it currently has 235k miles. It has been a great vehicle.
Should go 300000 no problem
It's a very spacious car. Even on paper new models looks a little bit bigger, this car is giving you impression that it's much bigger than newer models. We had family trip across Canada with 2 kids and 2 big dogs and we never had space management issues. Every door with 3 pockets, center console where you can store lot of stuff, large windows you can see everything. And, it's riding smooth. The only cons I have about this car is engine not torque enough and road noise. Everything else is perfect when you need lot of interior room but you don't want to ride a van.
I’m about to go buy a 2012 Honda Pilot , with about 144,000 miles. Great condition like this one. Thx for the vid!!
You are very welcome 🙏 good luck with you’re purchase 🤗
I just bought one yesterday exact same car with 124,000 miles, it seems like it has some weird issues that I didn’t catch before buying it kind of seems like the transmission shifts funny, or maybe it’s the Pistons turning on and off kind of a weird feeling. And I don’t understand how the mileage per gas is calculated. I had a Camry that would give you an overall number, this car seems to give you a calculation per trip which is very difficult and I don’t like it, first it said I was getting 12 miles to the gallon and then 18 miles to the gallon kind of odd
@@orangecounty60 Get the VCM muzzler..thats engine dropping cylinders...vcm muzzler gets rid...just youtube it.
@Kellel AL hey are you still looking for a Pilot or not anymore?
We own a 2014 honda pilot touring with 142k on her still running. Did a timing belt change last year and shes on Michelle climate control 2+. shes been a great car hope we can get 300k miles on her
The driver visor on my 2012 is perfect
I'm about to purchase one.....so excited
I have a Honda 2012 4wd touring and it’s great on road and snow and dirt it’s good
I have a 2012 with 220k miles on it. Engine runs strong. Love the way it rides and drives.
Shut off the VCM and it will go 300000 no problem
@@user-is1yo3nj8pwhat’s VCM?
They took Great care of that vehicle. Looks almost new with that kind of mileage.
Yeah these Honda Pilots are Excellent. We shop everyday for vehicle like this👍 thank for watching the video.
@@povnelson2019 if you don’t mind me asking how much did you buy this vehicle for
I had a 2013 honda pilot touring 4x4 with 201k miles. Very smooth.
I still love this car space utility, center console, everything except its milage
well, it's good to know these vehicles were built right and can go a lot of miles lol
Just got mine. 2013 with 93k on the dash. Love it already.
Nice love it! Also, I'm doing a giveaway tomorrow. Cash bro! lol so on my DIY videos, like comment sub. And you could win. xD
How much did you pay? I found one for $26500 with 79k on it and I’m hesitant because of the year
@@locdnlove2016 what’s the year? They are great trucks and have amazing space in them. I needed mostly for my kids. 79k is pretty low too.
@@locdnlove2016 that’s waaaaaaay too much. Found one here w/73k miles and it’s priced at 19k
I agree with you on the timing. I wish these came with a chain instead of a belt. But its a honda, that belt will last 200k lol as long as the engine is not beaten on the road and maintenance done on a consistent basis.
I had a 2012 Touring for 10 yrs. Got it up to 190K miles. Regular maintenance. Tune-up at 100K. Only replaced starter. Belts never had to be replaced. Loved it. Great for my kids with the space and DVD.
Sadly it was totaled. Now driving a 2017 Pathfinder...but thinking about getting another one because of just how solid it is.
I just bought a 2010 4wd Touring from a neighbor. One owner, always garaged maintained. 238k miles. Timing belt and waterpump replaced at 195k. No children. Black leather Interior is immaculate. I am excited to have another Honda to sit next to my '04 Accord LX.
@LincMerc Unfortunately mine was totaled. Now we have a 2021 Special Edition 😄
@@suthius85 Sorry about the total. Congrats on the new one!
Never replaced timing belt? I have a 2015 Pilot with 134k on it. Was planning to have timing belt replaced next month but now thinking twice.
@@gangma68 I kept on putting it off 😄
i have a 2015 pilot and am surprised of the mpg for such a squared vehicle
Mine fit all my kids and our juke 153,000 miles still going strong
Nice Having all that space must be awesome lol
I have an ABS Modulator malfunction. So unfortunate to have this issue on a 2015 model. 120km tsk
My 2010 has 257,487 miles exl 4wd.
Any big maintenance issues? Looking at one with 120k.. hoping it will be a good investment.
I wanna get a pilot so badly!!!
OHHH you should they are beautiful inside and out.
i got same car now about 320000 miles
I just purchased one with 202k, I hope I make it past 300k
Are you selling any at the moment
I’ve had my 2011 pilot for 9 years
Nice I’m thinking about getting one. I had a Toyota Highlander v6 3rd row but is was still small, specially in the front seat.
Carfax report 176k miles odometer but now reads 134k. So mileage was tampered?
Odometer reads 184k miles. The carfax is correct I just read it wrong. That was my bad
look at the odometer he misspoke
@@mikeb3632 again my bad lol thank Mike B 👍😁
Do not trust carfax. Go with autocheck.
Hi you think i should buy a 2012 honda pilot with over 200,000 miles let me know thanks
I bought mines with 228 now goin on 246 smooth no issues east to fix
Why are these always on tires that look too small for the size of the vehicle.
I ask the same thing! a lot of new cars are on lower profile tires. i like the look but the feel
Is there a certain year where transmission is bad on them?
2009
2005
My driver side visor looks the same, floppy
How’s the gas milage?
I get 19 ish mostly urban suburban driving in the Midwest. 4WD with VCM muzzler.
Watch out for timing belt. Watch out for VCM tearing up your transmission and motor mounts.
Can you give us more details on VCM, please? I love my 2011 Pilot and I want it to serve me another 10 years :)
@@alexandrucovaliov8989 I believe to use VCM muzzler would help. Check copilot community
How much is the car at 183K miles?
Idk i sold this month’s ago.
@@povnelson2019 Thanks.
