Thank you. I am just trying this,. I have suffered with these neck and head pains for over 10 years. Doctors do not want to know. They just say "take Paracetamol" . I have tried the chin tucks before but now realise I have not been doing them correctly. Thanks for the help. Maureen
@@pilatesaustintexas512 Thank you! I have occipital neuralgia and chronic atlas subluxation complex due to craniocervical instability. I am scheduled for PRP in July….hoping I find some relief🙏🏻
Thanks these are excellent - I always struggle wondering if I’m doing exercises correctly but the towel makes it simple -in pain with occipital neuralgia in the wee hours here ... ouch ouch ouch ...exercises then back to sleep 😴 thank you 🙏
Occipital Neuralgia can be cured. Decompression surgery, Long term treatments of Botox, or physical therapy. It varies amongst each individual. Medications don’t help me unfortunately.
Ive been doing the towel stretches when symptoms are bad. Im sure doing them on a regular basis would provide more support. In addition to the stretches can you recommend any strengthening exercises maybe low trap/rhomboids? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks
Have had occipital neuralgia or what my doctor might possibly think is occipital neuralgia for 8 months. Tension type headache back on neck and front eye brow region with pressure on the nose bone. Had an MRI done all clear have type Botox , steroid injections, countless medications and no help. What would you suggest? Again headache is 24/7 with no breaks. Anyone help or information from anyone would be appreciated.
my former neurologist told me I should get a CT Scan, I did Get it he found nothing and called me a hypochondriac, Never going to see this "doc" again, and currently NOT RECCOMMEND HIM to anyone.
Do you suffer from Occipital Neuralgia? What occipital neuralgia treatment options have helped you?

Are these exercises okay to do if you have craniocervical instability?
I would not recommend you do these without proper instruction with a practitioner if you have ligamentous instability of the cervical spine.
