The movie was PERFECT. Jude Law and Mads steal the whole movie
I really wish there was the same actor in 2 movies though, the change of a major actor always disrupts the story for the viewers 😢 They also had very different designs and even the white eye was not there. I don’t care which design they would choose but I wish it just was consistent

I honestly didn’t know if I was going to enjoy Mads Mikkelson as Grindewald, especially considering Johnny Depp left some huge shoes to fill, but he was perfect. I actually think he was better than Johnny Depp’s version
Agreed. I never could see Depp's Grindelwald/Law's Dumbledore together, but I have no problems at all with Mads'/Law's. Nope, no problems at all with that.
The scene where Grindelwald does the circle of fire is perfect, and I’m not sure if Mads could do it. But other scenes like the duel between him and Dumbledore were perfect, I don’t think Depp could’ve done that scene as well as Mads, so I think they are both amazing.

Depp's version of Grindelwald fits some situations better than Mads's, but Mads's version is also better than Depp's in some situations.
Maybe Mad's version is more realistic.
I would still love to see Depp acting Grindelwald.

Love the video! why do you think gellert and albus stop fighting? Just saw the film and I didn't get it...also why the crowd did not seem to see them duelling
I think they stopped fighting because they couldn't get themselves to kill each other in the end, but that's just my take on it ♥
I actually wondered why they crowd couldn't see them too, so I don't know about that :)

@@TheCicillina I agree. To some extent they both love the other. It is like the ex couple where both parties wanted it to go on but they just couldn't see eye to eye. After all they broke up because of the sister but even then they still love each other.
For the figt that is because the bloodpact sets the stage where they have to decide to either do it or not. It is like when Dumbledore tries to destroy it and it nearly cut off his arm and strangle him and the rest of them can't do a thing other than trying to reach him with words.
I think they stoped fighting because they still love eachother. And they care for each other even they are on opposite sides

I had to share this with someone. I don't want to forget it. I just came back home from watching this master piece. I had my Gryffindor scarf and ring. My Deathly Hallows pendant on my jacket and an Illuminating wand. I'm at a rough period in my life. Lost faith in myself. Anyways after the Qilin bowed to Dumbeldore I felt happy for him. I gave one of my paper wands that I made to a young girl who seemed to be enjoying the movie more than all of us right as we all started to leave. I kept walking down tge street and at that point a dog came to me and bowed his head as to ask me to pet him. Tears went down my face as I couldn't believe what happened. And that little girl approached me and asked: Are you the real Dumbledore, you seem like you are, and the dog bowed to you like that little deer did... I cried for 10 minutes behind a tree but I never felt more blessed than now.
