It's funny how I feel like I've been there. Like I've walked these halls, sat at these tables, took these classes. It's like I've lived all of that in a alternate universe and I reminisce about it. The nostalgic feeling is so powerful sometimes.

most people want to shift to get railed by the characters or teach everyone gen z humour or even see what hogwarts would be like in the modern day. some people like me want to shift to see these people, befriend them, and tell them that everything will be okay. i want to enjoy learning the classes and sleeping in the dorms. i want to enjoy the feasts and all the magical creatures. i want to roam around the castle at night when i can’t sleep. i want to go home.
Same same same. I'm shifting because: 1. I need to meet Luna. I love her so much. I can't even express the love, I'm think I'm going to literally have a heart attack when I'm going to see her, hear her voice, hug her. I'm just so miserably in love with her. I would take anything for her. I would harm myself for her. And that's something. I think my worst fear is fear of getting harm. 2. I want to escape anxiety, depression, school, toxic people around me. I want to be finally confident. I want to finally have courage to make everyone my friend. 3. The same reason as you. I wouldn't care if I just went to Hogwarts without the people in the series, without any love relationship. Still, my dream would be filled. Still, I would be the happiest person on the world. Yeah I did cry a bit writing this 🥺
I'm 31, married with 2 young kids... I remember when I was 13,14 sitting in the fields reading the book every summer when they were released.....I have never gone more than a few months and not watched a film or more than a year and not read the books, I even took my own kids to the studios near London a few weeks ago, I would love them to love the magic as much as I did growing up and how Hogwarts has always been a comfort to me. God I miss my childhood, how amazing new and fresh things were.....

Hogwarts is our home we can't let the world forget and did you know they are remaking the movies(I know it's dumb it cause they aren't making money off it any more but I will never be able to see Hogwarts without those amazing actors that made Hogwarts magical)

This made me cry. I started Harry potter run 4th grade and I had a lot of friend and family problems and mental health problems and was going through a dark time. Harry Potter saved me. Hogwarts was my home when I fell into a depression. It was my safe place. It gave my comfort and consoled me when I needed it the most. Whenever I felt most lonely and left alone, dived right into the wizarding world and I felt home. Whenever I was lost, I found a place between the pages and chapters of the story. Harry Potter is so much more than a story about three friends, it's so complex and entails so many lessons and wisdom, that have changed me so much as a person and so many people who have read and watched it. It's crazy how much something fictional can truly feel like home. Harry, Hermione and Ron will always be my friends, even if really they exist in another realm.

I feel that the harry potter fandom needs to for a support group. Online book club, making new friends to form that strong and emotional bond, going on adventures in full cosplay, or even a movie marathon camping trip. Hogwarts doesn't have to be a castle. It can be as little as 2 people and a book. Reply to this and we can start our own Hogwarts.
Is it weird to feel like you don’t want to grow up but you do at the same time. Harry Potter always makes me feel like I can time travel, bc every time I watch it I feel like I’m 9 years old again. I can not stop listening to the first 20seconds, when Harry goes "Is this all real?" that hit hard. I just- my love for Harry Potter and everything about it is unreal. I can't describe my feelings. When I was dealing with sad times, reading the books would make me feel better, especially in the 7th book, when Harry goes to be killed by Voldemort and he's thinking about how he will never see Ron, Hermione, ginny... it made me think the same thing, I would never see my family, my friend again ; that's how much it helped me. 1. I need to meet Luna. I love her so much. I can't even express the love, I'm think I'm going to literally have a heart attack when I'm going to see her, hear her voice, hug her. I'm just so miserably in love with her. I would take anything for her. I would harm myself for her. And that's something. I think my worst fear is fear of getting harm.
2. I want to escape anxiety, depression, school, toxic people around me. I want to be finally confident. I want to finally have courage to make everyone my friend.
3. The same reason as you. I wouldn't care if I just went to Hogwarts without the people in the series, without any love relationship. Still, my dream would be filled. Still, I would be the happiest person on the world.

I remember when I was 13,14 sitting in the fields reading the book every summer when they were released.....I have never gone more than a few months and not watched a film or more than a year and not read the books, I even took my own kids to the studios near London a few weeks ago, I would love them to love the magic as much as I did growing up and how Hogwarts has always been a comfort to me. God I miss my childhood, how amazing new and fresh things were.....

The Potterheads deserved the help of Hogwarts. That's why not every one gets us, people who need help are always welcome at Hogwarts. Harry potter was the happiness in my personal dark, Thank You Hogwarts for turning on the lights. Ever since 4th I’ve still been in a dark place but Harry Potter has made it better. I’m in 6th now and on the last book. People don’t get us but that’s okay. Harry gets us. Hermione gets us. Harry Potter is so much more than a story about three friends, it's so complex and entails so many lessons and wisdom, that have changed me so much as a person and so many people who have read and watched it. It's crazy how much something fictional can truly feel like home. Harry, Hermione and Ron will always be my friends, even if really they exist in another realm.

Online book club, making new friends to form that strong and emotional bond, going on adventures in full cosplay, or even a movie marathon camping trip. Hogwarts doesn't have to be a castle. It can be as little as 2 people and a book. Reply to this and we can start our own Hogwarts.

Is it weird to feel like you don’t want to grow up but you do at the same time. Harry Potter always makes me feel like I can time travel, bc every time I watch it I feel like I’m 9 years old again. I just- my love for Harry Potter and everything about it is unreal. I can't describe my feelings. When I was dealing with sad times, reading the books would make me feel better, especially in the 7th book, when Harry goes to be killed by Voldemort and he's thinking about how he will never see Ron, Hermione, ginny... it made me think the same thing, I would never see my family, my friend again ; that's how much it helped me.
