I respect your opinion but I feel differently. Mikkelsen no doubt gave a great performance but I always felt it was kind of flat, with Depp I saw the different layers to Grindelwald, he was about more than just world domination. I think Depp brought the character to life perfectly, he embodied Grindelwald’s infamous silver tongue and deceptive nature. Even though Grindelwald and Dumbledore didn’t have a scene together till the third movie, Law and Depp still had chemistry, which I just never saw between Law and Mikkelsen
I don't know, I mean we knew already how their story ended, and FB3 released almost 1 year ago, but now I can't even feel anything but sad and empty when seeing anything realted to them. Thank u so much.
It is a really sad story, for both of them, especially Albus, and as we can see not only in fantastic beats but even when he drink that potion with Harry, he has maybe saw not only Ariana’s death but even this feeling for Gellert which could not be successful

I do love JD, but not in this role. The calm but dominant aura performed by Mikkelsen was amazing. Something Dumbledore would’ve fallen for.
