I will try to make something on this topic. But this is overrated area in your CV and as long as you have an honest explanation for the gap- No one really cares about your gaps.

I have a life insurance policy for protection against the bank mortgage for my house in UK. I am continuing my LIC policy from India but not sure about the implications for being an NRI.i have linked the LIC policy to my NRO bank account and updated the KYC as NRI.
Hi sir. Your videos are really helpful and to the point. I have a doubt sir. I have completed my oet. But since there are no dates for plab1 for the next 1 year, I am planning to write mrcp part 1 and then clear my plab 1and 2, get a non training job in uk, then complete my mrcp 2 paces while working. After that will I be able to apply for speciality training in uk directly sir?? Thanks sir
Yes, that's reasonable. With MRCP, you will also need alternative core competency form for training application. You can get it signed during non training Job in UK.

Is it difficult compared to other branches like radiology , pediatrics ?
Hi Dr Sandhiya, medical specialities are less competitive than others so quite possible for IMGs to get into them.you should clear MRCP during your MD.
Hi sir.Hope you are fine.I wanted a suggestion. If a student has done mbbs from indIa and his family is financially Good and the student knows that he will not come back to India and get settled abroad in Uk or some other country.Would you recommend him to give PLAB and do the post graduation and super specialization in UK only or would you recommend him to do ms/md in India then give mrcs exam and then settle in UK.. My another question (just asking it generally) is that what will take lesser time and is more comfortable if you have to settle in UK or abroad forever 1)directly PLAB after mbbs..or 2)MS/MD India then MRCS?
In India to become a spine surgeon a person has to do MS ORTHO then do fellowship in spine surgery to become a specialised spine surgeon. In UK will a student become a spine surgeon(or any other sub speciality ortho surgeon) after 6years of ST program or the student has to do fellowship in spine surgery seperately to become a spine surgeon? In other words my question is that:Is the 6 years of ST program just equal to MS ORTHO in INDIA or does the 6 years of ST program include super speciality also?
