Hello sir! Thank you for making such helpful videos. I am currently pursuing MD in Pharmacology from a Central Institute. My first choice was internal medicine. Is there any route for getting a Internal Medicine Training/Residency in the UK? Is the MTI/MRCP route open for me? I want to get UK training and a degree so that it can add to my CV and I can practice in Europe/Middle East.

I am in final year of training in MS ORTHOPAEDICS in india. I am planning to give MRCS and shift to UK VIA CESR pathway .
    1) How much chances are there to move via cesr pathway ?

Chances of CESR in ortho is extremely low. GMC does not publish rates of successful CESR application so I don't have any data to support this. You don't need Indian experience to clear CESR.

You can start working as a registrar after FRCR. Most doctors get a trust consultant post after 6-12months. CESR is unpredictable and will likely take a couple of years, at least. you can only get CCT if you complete training. It's better to aim for CESR as a radiologist.

I would like to know, if having that and gmc registration with a full pass on mrcp, will make me eligible to join a medical residency in internal medicine UK. 1Whether is it fact.If so
Then how a uk aspiring student should prepare.
2 what are the academic resources

The PLAB exam will be replaced by UKMLA. That's a fact. GMC is yet to publish the format of the exam but most likely it will be similar to current PLAB exam.
In the meantime, it's best to focus the preparation on PLAB exam.
      English exam will be mandatory.
Age is not a barrier certainly for locum duties. But doing locum duties only without prior NHS experience has its own risks as you will be new to system.
