i loved his haircut a lot. i like this long hanging but not too long hairs and they fit well to the youthful beautiful prince imo. I also love what it transformed into afterwards in Warrior Within, fits to the brutal version of the prince. Overall - amazing fairy tale, amazing game, one that has special place in my heart
I felt like somebody was going to molest me as a child using this game as bait... I was 10-11 somewhere around there, and I was at some people’s house, like family friends or whatever I don’t recall, and there were all adults and I was the only kid, and there was this guy who was like “you like games? I have an Xbox in my room” I was like “no” then he was like “I’ve got prince of persiiaaaa” and I was like no it’s okay, but I was tempted. Turns out there was some nasty rumors on that guy that surfaced years later, messing around with kids or something. But I can’t confirm that anything was true. So maybe I was about to be molested, maybe he just felt bad because I was the only kid there. Sorry for getting deep, I just had to release that.
Stop. Don't start this shit. You really want him to never play a game? This is how it's done. The constant begging for yakuza prompted him to actually have to say he's never going to play it. So don't copy that dumb comment and get him to refuse another game.
Ah memories. Me and my late best friend would play this game on the same saved file taking turns in a gaming cafe in India coz we were broke and still wanted to know how the game ended. Miss you Vinit RIP bro.
When I discover hidden feature 'the power of haste' 17 years later, it is SICK. One of those old games, once you run it on 1440p monitor with a few patches, tweaks then it looks like remastered restored beautiful game. I wish i could get over that damned wall to wall jumps in the last chapter.
This is THE GAME of my childhood. Every game i played before, those were 8-bit games on Chinese NES clone. So Sands of Time, was my first game when i got a PC... And to this day, it's still THE BEST GAME OF ALL TIME... to me. To me, this game is PERFECT.

I would love for you to follow up on fire emblem and do the sacred stones or a really good not very well know rpg for the ps2 know as Arc the Lad Twilight of the spirits. Please!!! Please!!
idk why, but I always think of this game. I played it as a child, as a teen, and um playing it again as an adult. Absolutely love it. And you're right about how cool the combat is, except for the repetition. At times I kept wanting the enemies to attack more often, or to vary a little, maybe throw in heavy-slow and light-fast attacks, or, idk, combinations. (the combat is actually the really i come back to it)
I just started playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky again, and my god you got to give these games a try. I don't know how it is for completeting, but it's the most emotional pokemon game series you'll ever play.
I loved the time travel mechanic because I felt like I was finally playing that game that said "It's okay if you suck." which I did...I was very bad at these games.
So last week Jirard played Spider-Man, with the main character voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, and this week he played PoP: Sands of Time, ALSO with the main character voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. Does this mean next week's video is going to be on Spectrobes?! Probably not, but a man can dream. Great video, TOVG crew! The learning bit at the beginning got me good.
I love the Prince of Persia series! Tight, fun parkour controls over a series of spectacular platforming puzzles and challenges! Remember that, Ubisoft? Remember when puzzles and challenges made your gameplay fun? When clearing a sequence In sands of time was a tightly executed sequence of almost rhythmically timed acrobatics and not “hold button to run across building”?
Warrior Within fixes a lot of these issues. On top of that, you get a really cool alternate ending if you collect enough things...so, sounds like it's right up your alley for games you wish would give more for putting in the effort of completing...
By far one of my first and most favorite parkour action games ever I played as a kid. I was near the end but I somehow got stuck not knowing where to go.
man its insane how far graphics have gone in a short amount of time from pre-rendered cutscenes with boxy characters to freaking "is this...actual gameplay or am i watching something" in spiderman
Sands of Time was my favourite game of the PS2 era. It had a rather great story uncommon to games of its time, though I made a point to collect games from its era that had great stories. I would love to see a Completionist review of Warrior Within. It's an amazing edgelord version of Sands of Time with a capital E. The combat is better with more variety though with an arguably worse story at least on the surface. As it goes on and you get to the second part it turns the story on its head which was a great twist. It also has the best antagonist in the form of the Dahaka. I won't say more about that as its amazing to see for yourself.

If for no other reason play it for me because I still don't have a ps4 or decent pc to play it on! ;-;
Remember the toonami commercials? "I've got sands in my shorts from playing Prince of Persia..."
Ah yes prince of persia: the sands of time, AKA the game i bought about 4 times, but got stuck at the same part 4 TIMES, AND GAVE UP AT THE SAMMMMME PART, 4 FRICKIN TIMES!!!!
clydeguy tf i beat this game when i was 6, how did u get stuck
its called the part where u r stuck in like a FRICKIN basement trying to solve some puzzle and theyre like a bunch of ropes and its just impossible so i just give up everytime! FRICKIN ROPES MAN!
clydeguy pssh that was easy
clydeguy you wanna know hard, try the master sword puzzle in twilight princess
Humza Khan U R A MASTER OF PUZZLES!!! The twlight princess master sword puzzle was tough!!! I got so frickin annoyed doing tht puzzle! But in the end i was able to solve it! I think its just my downfall when i see a basement with a whole bunch of ropes its like i have absolutely no idea how in the heck to solve tht
i loved his haircut a lot. i like this long hanging but not too long hairs and they fit well to the youthful beautiful prince imo. I also love what it transformed into afterwards in Warrior Within, fits to the brutal version of the prince. Overall - amazing fairy tale, amazing game, one that has special place in my heart
"I'm not gonna be playing yakuza 0." Lol yes you will jared. Along with xenoblade 1 and persona 5. You will complete every game ....eventually. lol
No he won't. And now we don't have to see that kid begging for it in the comments anymore.
I feel sorry for him if he tries to complete persona 5
@@trod146 He did, and he's doing it on purpose. I don't know his means, however I feel he's one of those guys that want to make people feel miserable.
Rolando Feliciano How was I making people miserable? It was a request to play a game. It’s not like I’m sending death threats to his house.
what a throwback! I actually think I prefer the original visuals to these ones, but you've inspired me to kick up the game again to see.
Come on Jerard youre almost there at 1 mil!!! You deserve it dude!!! LETS GIT 1MIL
Welcome to Episode 3 of me asking Jirad to complete Shadow Of War.
Jirad please complete Middle Earth Shadow Of War.
What happened to yakuza?
Random Duck yeah!
Watch the end of the vid
Perhaps he should play bookworm adventures deluxe. It’s only a matter of time before he shows up.
You are a saint Jirard! I love this game so much! 😖
This is THE GAME of my childhood. Every game i played before, those were 8-bit games on Chinese NES clone. So Sands of Time, was my first game when i got a PC...
And to this day, it's still THE BEST GAME OF ALL TIME... to me.
To me, this game is PERFECT.
Thanks for completing a full interesting console game. You were starting to wear me out with all the 2d, indie, and lesser know games. I like when you do games like this bc you have a skill of bring nostalgia to the viewers. I would love for you to follow up on fire emblem and do the sacred stones or a really good not very well know rpg for the ps2 know as Arc the Lad Twilight of the spirits. Please!!! Please!!
Id love to see a video from you about the warrior within, the improvements on combat are great and it has several unlockables :)
idk why, but I always think of this game.
(the combat is actually the really i come back to it)
I love your channel. It’s like a historic library of gaming. Your content is great! I love that you finish video games.
my favorite game of all time, got the logo tatted on my arm. glad you finally got to enjoy this gem.
I remember beating it the day it came out and being PISSED! My favorite was Warrior Within. Really hope he does that!
One of my favorite series of all time. Good to see you getting through it! I'm curious as to what you'll think about the sequels!
Man, it's good the Completionist is all about the trivia now, picking up that Beard Bros slack. I miss Beard Bros on RUclips.
I just started playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky again, and my god you got to give these games a try. I don't know how it is for completeting, but it's the most emotional pokemon game series you'll ever play.
Amazing production standards!! And hilarious jokes. Well done!
I loved the time travel mechanic because I felt like I was finally playing that game that said "It's okay if you suck." which I did...I was very bad at these games.
My favourite game of all time. I miss the days of games that were not too long and highly replayable
You're not wrong about the sound Jirard. Even on the Playstation 2, the Prince still talks in a whisper-like tone
It's crazy to see these old games I played as a kid. It looks so much different than it does in my memory haha.
You should complete Carmen Sandiego The Secret of the Stolen Drums. It’s an awesome game from my childhood and it needs more recognition
Man, its been so long since I've seen this game. Great video!
My love for Prince only served to make me enjoy this video ever the more
Warrior Within fixes a lot of these issues.
Literally my gaming childhood right here. I'm so happy!
I was waiting for this episode for a long time!
Absolutely loved the POP trilogy!
Warrior Within was my favorite.
Wouldn't mind a reboot of all three with modern graphics
man its insane how far graphics have gone in a short amount of time
from pre-rendered cutscenes with boxy characters to freaking "is this...actual gameplay or am i watching something" in spiderman
Loved this game back in the day. I got it as a b-day gift when I turned 12 or so. It was kind of "my Ocarina of Time"
what's that background music thats playing from 15:20 onwards? i know ive heard it before but i can't remember from where...
If you liked the sands of time, you will have a blast finishing the trilogy. Love these games to the bone
Only 1 playthrough is required, not 2. The
My favorite series of all time, the music is still magical.
One of my favorite games ever right here. The only one I actually finished as a child.
Should i buy this for pc? I assums it runs bettsr than the ps3 hd collection lol
Prince of persia Warrior within, one of my favourite games of all time, music plot and gameplay holy shit!! I miss it
now this is an episode I was waiting for!
