one smells like wine, the other smells like whiskey and beer.
Mine had better not ever smell like alcohol. 🤮
I love the explanation of the difference in the classical VS bluegrass strings. I didn’t know that.
Ya, it's not a hard fast rule but as a general rule, fiddlers prefer the louder more aggressive steel core strings.
I never realized the bridge could be a different radius than the fingerboard. Interesting. . Just subscribed. Thanks!
Sweeeeeet.
Excellent video! Thank you so much.
Glad you liked it!
Fantastic explanation, thank you. I love your content 👍
Sweet.
Very interesting! I recently started learning because I love fiddle music, but there are only classical violin lessons in my area (though my teacher has been good when I bring in folk pieces!). I'd love an in-depth breakdown about transitioning how you play between the two "styles" fiddle vs. violin.
I agree. I think that any good instructor should know and play both styles, so they can teach both. The best way to learn fiddle in your area might be a meetup group of folk and bluegrass players. Musicians love helping beginners.
Thank you for the tip! I never thought of that ☺️
Thanks much for the comparison, but which one is better overall?
Good question 🤔
I have two Kennedy electric violins. They arr my 2 favorites❤
Very Interesting! Nicco
I understood a little bit more. But I think It might be interesting a sound test to difference
Cool thanks! My question is how to pick the best shoulder rest and how to adjust it, specifically for a female who has narrow shoulders. 😊
A Violin sings..a Fiddle dances!
Haha. Perhaps! 🤔
How do I set my four tuners on mu violin? To start
I'm not sure I understand your question. Perhaps this vid will help? ruclips.net/video/0d1_d4QXpu0/видео.html
When you sit on the roof of your house and play your instrument,it is fiddle!.If you play that in dance programme ad libitum with Tennessee bows, you are a fiddler. If the venue is an auditorium/ music hall, you are playing a violin!.
LOL. Ya, probably.
Fiddlers do not need a 1 million dollar instrument and 100k bow to sound good ;-)
It's the same instrument, if it's crap at one thing will be crap at the other.
I don’t understand. If there are 177 views, how can there be 1,000 likes?
There are 177 likes but if you know of a way to get a thousand, please let me know. It'll help!

Lol
No lolol
Easiest way to explain the difference, Tax Bracket 😂😂😂😂
LOL. 😝
Leave your bias elsewhere, you assume all country people are poor…. Says a lot about your ignorance, not them.
