baby lolo I’m 37 guys I have you beat 😂 I have seen these kinds of videos advertised on RUclips but finally clicked and I’m so glad I did. Here’s to younger looking faces, bigger eyes and lots of compliments! 🥂 cheers!
I agree! However, IMO it could have been even better if at the very end, after these close shots she had then pulled back and shown us the difference in these two looks from say a normal speaking distance such as the distance most people use when speaking to someone face to face.
THANK YOU so much for not overwhelming me with product names and colors and brush numbers and all sorts of info about products I’m NOT going to go out and buy, and making me feel like it’s possible to improve my makeup with the things I already have! You really spoke to the people who don’t want to make their makeup their life’s work, and just want instructions on how to use what they have better. So approachable and refreshing. Plus, your results look amazing! Thanks again!
Yes! I usually get so overwhelmed I just click off the video and assume makeup is something I cannot do- This was just perfect, I'm confident I can do this
That always gets me. I understand for those who are promoting products because they make money that way..we all need to make money and if we have a service I don’t see an issue, but it’s overwhelming on most tutorials.
Glad she got right to the video and didnt blab about what time it is or how the shape of her eyes are because i hate watching videos that start like that.
Exactly!!! ...I hate when they give their life story...or play-by-play on why they're doing the video...why it took so long to make it... Blah blah blah. That fact alone made me keep watching her. I usually lose interest before they even get to the point. Or I skip past "back story" mess to get to the good stuff... if I do watch.
I learned SO much from this. Basically all the 'don'ts' I've done for all my make up life. No one else understands hooded lids like this creator. Thank you!!!
I have hooded eyes and have watched tons of videos on how to "properly" do your eye makeup. They were ALL wrong! THIS! This is the way I should've been doing it the WHOLE TIME! Thank you so much for being SO thorough in your explanation and so clear on what to do! I'm actually excited about doing my eye makeup again!
Hands-down the BEST video for hooded eyes: no long and unnecessary intros, straight to the point, no unnecessary promotion of products, brushes, brush numbers, etc, easy to understand advice, just perfect. Thank you so much. Subscribed.
When the "don't" eye is exactly how you do your makeup each day 😂 But seriously, great video and I wanted to learn how to do better makeup for my hooded eyes so thanks! Some days will be "do" and other days will still be "don't" 😁😁 xx
I know this video was from 5 years ago but it is absolutely on point. I've watched literally thousands of videos on eye makeup and how to properly place it on, especially for hooded eyes, but your tutorial is far superior. It is to the point, does not add in any extra unnecessary "fluff", and it covers and shows exactly what needs to be done to open the eye versus common mistakes we all have made that end up making our eyes look small and sunken. So I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing this video. I appreciate it very much and from what I've read in the comments, I am not alone in saying it. 🙏😊
Same, came across this today and it may be 5 years old but after countless hooded eyes tutorials, this time it finally clicked what I was doing wrong and why. It really helped that this was to the point and not bogged down with product names and a nice length that wasn’t overwhelming.
Finally, someone who actually teaches how and why!! Thank you for getting right to the point and explaining each step! Most other people talk about unrelated nonsense for 10 minutes before they even get to the makeup, then talk for 10 more about the products they're using. You've shown that the techniques can be done with whatever we're using. Thank you!!!
The BEST 10mins spent on a video. I was doing my eye like on the right since I was 23, which is ok then, but not ok now, since I aged and my lids drooped. felt frustrated, did not know how to correct it until now! Thank you thank you thank you.
Haha I am a 36 year old woman and it's taken me THIS long to realize I should do my eye makeup differently for my hooded eyes! This is a great tutorial, thanks so much for helping us hooded chicks out! ;)
Heather Ainsworth same! I always tried to do winged liner (I am 38) and I saw someone say to skip eye liner if you have hooded eyes or do tight lining a few months ago. I have not used eye liner since and have never been happier with my make up. I look so much younger and fresher.
I never understood why everyones eyeshadow came out looking great and mine looked nothing like theirs. "But I followed all the steps! What happened??" Lol
Great tutorial - quick, simple and straight to the point! You demonstrated your points perfectly, without fussing, and without using 15 layers of colour! Well done, good job! 👏😘
Wow. Thanks so much. At 54 I don't wear makeup much but when I do I'm stuck doing it the way I have done all my life. What a difference this had made. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. You don't understand how much you help peoples self confidence. We may age on the outside but we feel young on the inside :)
julie seymour. Amen to the aging on outside and feeling young on inside. I'm here to tell you it doesn't change. I am almost 65. Kinda freaks me out typing that number (lol). I am going to watch the video now. Wanted to see what some thought about the it. I am excited to watch it after reading reviews. Have a great day!
yeah im in my fifties and i am stuck in the dark eyeshadow on lid , highlight area under eyebrows and black eyeliner look...quite 70's lol it is great to learn a new way of doing it and yes it does help my hooded eyes.
I just wanna thank you for this video. I’m 37 and I’ve been doing my makeup (incorrectly) since I was 15. My mother has hooded eyes and I’ve just come to realize I do too. This tutorial is very helpful and has changed the way I do my eye makeup, and subsequently, has changed the way I look. 👍🏻
It's really hard to find good hooded eye make-up videos but this was REEEEALLY good! Super easy to follow and great tips! Also, I'm gonna agree with some people below; thank you for not overexplaining or going into brand names and exact colours and brushes and suff. This was all we needed to know, no more, no less. Just like a good tutorial should be. THANK YOU
Thank you. I did this tutorial, first time, with you. It really did make a difference. I did my right eye the way I normally wear my eye makeup and then did my left eye with your tutorial. I asked my husband his honest opinion and he agreed with you. We both agreed just a little changes and it makes me look younger and less tired. So thank you again.
This was incredibly helpful! Thank you! I love how you did both examples so we can see them side by side and you were focused on the techniques instead of the colors and products ❤️
This video was incredible thank you so much. I have hooded eyes and I've always been terrified of eye make up so just not bothered and used a light colour on the lid and mascara and that's it. But having seen this I now know how easy it can be. Best hooded eye tutorial ever! Thank you!
Loved the video; at 55 I've got one on left eye drooping & not naturally; I had a small cyst removed in my eye brow area in my early 30's, but then the drooping started around 40's mabye but now at 55 truly shows up, great tutorial on hiding that awful droop we ladies deal with..🌟❣
I loove your video. You give great advice, without feeling the need to plug or shoutout any specific name brand. (In my opinion, the label/brand mentions are just distractions from what people are truly trying to learn in these kinds of tutorials) You are extremely humble and kind, and very straight to the point. So Ty, Ty, Ty for making and posting this video! I saved it as a favorite in my makeup playlist:)
Finally…Someone explaining the differences of applying eye makeup to the very best effect. I am in love with how you explained each step and showing the incorrect steps side-by-side. Thank you so much for making/sharing your makeup talents with us. 🎉❤🎉
I'm only 3 minutes into the video and she has helped me understand so much more about eyeshadow then the other hundreds of videos that I've watched. By the way your lashes are darling! ❤
YES!!!!! I completely agree! I have done the same thing, watched tons of videos and had the same result. This one was so precise and at the same time simplified to show the do's & don'ts.
I feel personally attacked! 😂 I literally used to do all of these things. I knew the way I did it wasn’t flattering so stopped wearing eyeshadow and winged liner years ago. But I just tried your way and it actually looks great and only took a few minutes! Probably the best makeup tutorial I have ever seen. Thank youuuu ❤️ I might still skip mascara on the lower lashes though… 😂😉
O.M.G!!!!!.....I totally get it...After all these years "I totally get it"...I love you sooooo much hunny..😍....I am a 47 yr old mom of 5...I no..crazy!!.....but for the 1st time...the penny has dropped....and my hooded eyes look FECKIN AMAZING!!!...Thankyou xx xx xx
Omg, I'm 38 and have been applying the darker shade on my lower lid and the lighter shade about for my entire life! Can't believe the difference it makes. Thank you!
I now realize I've been doing my hooded eyes WRONG all along! I even complained the last time I went out with my boyfriend that my eyes looked even smaller and it was aggravating ! Lol. So glad I found this video today!! Thank youuuu
You have helped SO many people with this tutorial! I wasnt allowed to wear makeup until I got on my own and didnt have anybody teach me and have never had a make-over ever, even though I always wanted too! You have done in about ten minutes what I couldnt understand for decades! We're talking TOTAL gamechanger! Everyone compliments my eye color BUT its always been downplayed because of droopy hooded eyes! It feels great to know that I can achieve the results I want!!!
omg yes! Someone with hooded eyes! I'm subscribing! (I always look for tutorials with similar eye shape but it is somewhat hard to find, I'm glad I found this channel)
God, she saved me! I've been doind everything wrong. I've been having so many problems with my hooded eyes, even when I went to make up artists just to glam me up for an event or something. I've began to doubt my beauty and I was considering to do a plastic surgery because I didn't like my eyes and I was always so gealous on other girls that had those large sockets because I wanted that shit. XD
@@morcellemorcelle618 she did but it was always a problem if I choose to have eyeliner as well. I've seen such a gorgeous makeup with eye liner one time but she couldn't do it on my hooded eyes.
Thank you for a well explained video!! I have never been comfortable with using eye-make up.....now I know why! I was doing it all wrong! I think you were wise in not mentioning the color of the shadows. This way I can focus more on the technic! Appreciate your videos. And....your eyes are so beautiful!
this is good to know. i have hooded eyes and i'm a total novice at eye makeup, particularly with colors (what to use and how to apply and where) and eyeliner. i also appreciate that you explain how and why it works or doesn't work. it makes it easier to remember what to do.
Without having to use the same products you're using, I feel that I can follow your steps. You are so good at teaching and I am so happy that I've found you on RUclips!
Brilliant video. I have avoided putting any shadow on at all because of all the reasons you say.....Now I know why! Eureka! Thank you. Can't wait to get into all my little pots of eye shadow that have not seen the light of day in ages.
I used to do my makeup all the time, I was the "Makeup Queen" lol...but I haven't worn any for a really really long time. Thank you so much for doing a simple, straight forward way and also showing the difference between how it the 2 looks, when you do certain things. It was so awesome, and it is really inspiring me to try to feel good about myself....Thank you!
Thank you for this tutorial! I have always struggled with putting on eyeshadow because the color disappeared on my hooded eyelids. Now 30 plus years later, gravity has made my upper eyelids droop even more. I have started using eyeshadow to make my eyes more noticeable but I have still put on makeup exactly the way you showed us not to. I was so frustrated! I have subscribed to your channel and I look forward to trying out your makeup tips tomorrow!
Truly an "Eye-opening" video! Sadly I was applying my eye makeup, exactly like the wrong eye! I can't tell you how ETERNALLY GRATEFUL I am for your video!!! I'm 57 yrs old and very conscientious about my appearance. Since I am overweight and short, my eyes have been my best attribute. Wow!!! Amazing difference!!! I can't thank you enough!!! I'll be watching every video of yours! Plus sharing with my friends!
You taught me more about my eyes in 4 minutes than so many other videos I've been trying to learn from. You are wonderful at explaining things simply and straightforward. Thank you so much for this video!
This is the video I didn't know I was looking for. I always got that extra crease whenever I put on eyeshadow, so for years now I've always been very careful to only put eyeshadow on the eyelid, never around. Now I can actually start experimenting with colors and shape :D Edit: I just tried it and woah, I didn't know I could look like this. I'm amazed
Trying to decide what style i wanted to do for an upcoming wedding, This was the BEST advice ive seen on youtube for hooded downturned eyes. I never gravitated to what u did on the right side, but didnt understand why . U just made it all make sense. Thank you ❤❤
Omg… I totally do the “wrong eye” everyday! Definitely going to try the “right eye” tomorrow. Just turned 50, definitely a hooded eye. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get out of my younger makeup yet still feel 25 😂🥰
Yes I have always have had hooded eyelids but at 40 I definitely need help finding out what I've been doing wrong all these years which I really don't know too much at all my mother was not make it person so and then they really have any friends to teach me
I have been doing this same technique since the 80's. My dad took me to Macy's when I first started wearing makeup to make sure I didn't wear it wrong or crazy. The lady at Macy's showed me thus technic and I've worn it this way for the last 38 years. Love it!!
This was a great tutorial! I’ve put on eye make-up all my life. But as I’m getting older and my eyes are hooded now I’ve to change the technique. This war easy to understand I didn’t get overwhelmed with brand names and colours and brushes of certain products. Great video and I’ll be following your channel from now on!
I cannot tell you how amazingly helpful this video was to me!! Like most others on here, I've been doing it all wrong!! Like others, I don't care about all the products & so on. I just want to get to the point & that's exactly what you did. I can't thank you enough!!I'm so glad I accidentally came across your video. I subscribed and can't wait to see what's next.
You are halarious, or rather I am! I do EVERY DON'T you showed!!!! Thank you for showing me how to finally do my eyes in a way that's right and actually flatters me more!!!! You are amazing 💋❤️
Thank you so much for your version for the hooded eye. Over the last couple years I have noticed mine droop more than they did. Aging, over 55. I really liked your instruction and took notes for my next application of my makeup. I saw some of my errors and haven't been very happy with how my eyes turn out lately. I have been trying different looks. Not are all for the hooded eye. I like yours the best so far. I will be watching more.
Monolid makeup: vertical gradients will look sophisticated with your eye shape Hooded: have the dark color on the bottom and light on top will close your eyes *Cries* I have hooded monolids
Thank you so much!!! I've been doing my eye makeup almost exactly as your don't guidelines and I can't believe the difference when watching you do both eyes. This is so helpful and has inspired me to start wearing makeup again. Thank you so much! 💛
YES! it's so much more a sensual look, where as the other is a ... great video to demonstrate though as everyone has different tastes... my vote is for the hooded look, dark, sensual and deep. Thankful someone else thought so too!
Lol...yep😆. When I was younger I hated my hoods and learned to do the ‘correct’ technique. But as my eyes have aged I’ve learned to love my hoods and emphasize them! 🤗. It’s great to have options, either way!!
I've stumbled upon your channel by accident and I love how your explanation is clear and simple. Also, you send off a very friendly and likeable vibe. Most makeup youtubers are obnoxious (even though they try to masquarade it... lol) New Subscriber here 😍
This might be one of the life-changing videos for me. I love the way you explained how and why we should apply the eye make-up that way and the comparison to what others have done in the past (I think me included haha). Great video!
Great video, I have never had it explained this way, very helpful. Have to admit, I didn't fully understand if I had hooded eyes or droopy eyes, until I watched. Either way, I cannot wait to try this. Beautiful.
My gosh. I’ve been watching videos for a while now. I appreciate many of them. But you are the FIRST ONE who actually make me see it and understand exactly what I need to do ! Thank you!!!! You’re gorgeous !
Yikes, no wonder mom hated my baby bat goth phase in highschool, I did everything you mentioned on the right! Luckily I can go for a more subdued (but still totally goth) look now that actually compliments my hooded eyes. Thanks for breaking it down!
🤯🤯 mind blowing, I just learnt that I have hooded eyes and I have been doing my make up like the right side (I have zero knowledge and actually paid a couple of sessions to "know the basics"🤦🏻♀️ and that was I got told to do) for a few years now. Thank you so much, I can't wait to give it a go and see the difference 🙌🏻🥰 great tutorial
So i woke up one day and I was suddenly 46.I love makeup and have always been pretty good at choosing colors as well as application. However, now that I hit my mid 40s,I'm suddenly lost. The colors/techniques I used in 20s&30s don't cut it any longer.I'm trying to re-learn application techs. for a face that is aging. My skin tone is different, my eyelids slightly droop and my smile lines beside my nose are more pronounced.I definitely am NOT looking the best I probably can for the age I'm at.I'm not disillusioned by thinking makeup will stop the aging process but I definitely need tips for women my age. Most videos with 45-50yr.olds look much older and wear minimal makeup.I really can't do that because I'm blonde with pinkish skin tone, light colored and short eyelashes and med blonde thin eyebrows(from years of waxing-I stopped 6yrs ago).I wish i could find a 40something woman who's med-blondish and just began to transition to first noticeable signs of aging but also stylish.I don't have the same results as a 25-30yr.old doing tutorial and I definitely don't have the awesome definition that those with darker features have.If anyone has a suggestion please let me know.Who knows maybe I'll be the one doing the tutorial that I'm searching for elsewhere...but I need to learn the young-oldish lady techniques first. ♡
Check out Angie from Hot and Flashy. She does skin care as well as makeup. She’s a little older than you but looks fabulous, and I have learned so much from her!
This woman has truly opened my eyes! In more ways than one...
😍
Same !!! I am 33 and just "opened my eyes" 🤣🤣🤣
@@milicascekic501 lol
@@milicascekic501 hell im 36 and just opened mine haha.. i been doing this all wrong.. the wrong side was the way i did it .... until today

I like how close the camera is to your face. Too many tutorials are filmed from so far away that it's hard to tell what is actually going on.
I agree! However, IMO it could have been even better if at the very end, after these close shots she had then pulled back and shown us the difference in these two looks from say a normal speaking distance such as the distance most people use when speaking to someone face to face.
This is how tutorials should be. To the point, showing differences on each eye and easily explained.
Thank you dear❤️
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍rrrr
Agree 💯
Yes that was very helpful on one eye being right and the other being wrong showed me a lot of difference
Yep 💯💯💯. Brilliant. Perfect. Thank you!!

Same here, it’s really nice to see the side by side “do and don’t” eye makeup. Now I can clearly see what I’m doing wrong
Yes! I've been doing it wrong for so long because I always did what my friends with non hooded eyes did 😂
😂😂same here!!
Lol. Me too. I just personally like dark shades to be on the lids, so I guess I'm not going to reject my don't droopy makeup days
I've always wondered why following most makeup tutorials turn out horrifying on my eyes... now i know, my eyes are hooded
Same! That was tbe reason why I gave up wearing any kind of eyeshadow but now I know maybe with this technique I can go back to shadowing! 😌
That's exactly how I felt too!

That is the best and clearest demonstration (of what i've been doing wrong lol) I've seen and the Difference it makes. Thank you so much.
+Vanessa Wood you're very welcome :))
Yes so appreciate her getting right to the point without all the chit chat....🤗
Can we talk bout how beautiful her eyes and eyelashes are 😤
I feel personally attacked! 😂 I literally used to do all of these things. I knew the way I did it wasn’t flattering so stopped wearing eyeshadow and winged liner years ago. But I just tried your way and it actually looks great and only took a few minutes! Probably the best makeup tutorial I have ever seen. Thank youuuu ❤️
I might still skip mascara on the lower lashes though… 😂😉
Me too! I did EVERYTHING she did on the "wrong side" 😂 I followed her tutorial though, and WOW!
@@toMickorNottoMick And can you believe I'm finally seeing this gem years later?! So grateful!
I agree. You don't need much filler info..just go.
Bravo!!! Best hooded eyes video on RUclips. So easy and doable and understandable. Great tips!!!!
+Leeda James So glad to hear that! Thank you so much! ❤
Thank you for not talking about every single different brush and makeup palette your using! Love the video! 👏👏 Thank you!
Wow, this just changed my life. I was wondering why I always look a hot mess whenever I try to put on make-up.
+Diana Hobbs Oh wow! You have no idea how great it is to hear this! You go girl!!!!
me to ! after ALL these years. i keep telling everyone ,i don't know how to do makeup . lol
Omg, I'm 38 and have been applying the darker shade on my lower lid and the lighter shade about for my entire life! Can't believe the difference it makes. Thank you!
Wow. This is genius. Dark on the TOP not on the bottom. Literally flipped upside down. Love it! Eye surgery cancelled 😍😂
Hahaha yayyy
I now realize I've been doing my hooded eyes WRONG all along! I even complained the last time I went out with my boyfriend that my eyes looked even smaller and it was aggravating ! Lol. So glad I found this video today!! Thank youuuu
Hahaha I know what you mean!! Yay! So glad you found me and that I was able to help!! ❤️
XD
I'm 55 and just learning how to do this correctly. Paid a few times to have lessons but I learned nothing. This is wayyy better!! The best to you!!!
Hold on....
You went to a MUA who didn't know how to do eye shadow on hooded eyes??
@@morcellemorcelle618 she did but it was always a problem if I choose to have eyeliner as well. I've seen such a gorgeous makeup with eye liner one time but she couldn't do it on my hooded eyes.
@@madamady8104 😕
Mada Mady nah girl heavy lids look sexy and sultry. Not everyone needs to look like a wide eyed doll!
Best do ,& don't video. It makes the most sense. Thanks
Thank you so much! :)) I’m glad you found it helpful!
Thank you for a well explained video!! I have never been comfortable with using eye-make up.....now I know why! I was doing it all wrong! I think you were wise in not mentioning the color of the shadows. This way I can focus more on the technic! Appreciate your videos. And....your eyes are so beautiful!
+Jewel Rose So glad you have found it helpful! 😃
+MakeupAndArtFreak
my first day of work
So everything on the “don’t” eye was exactly what I was doing with my eye makeup. 🤦🏻♀️😫 FAIL.
Same here
About the only thing here that I did know was to use a darker shade in the crease, but I wasn't taking it high enough.
LITERALLY THE BEST MAKEUP TUTORIAL I HAVE EVER WATCHED. I have watched thousands. SUBSCRIBED
this is good to know. i have hooded eyes and i'm a total novice at eye makeup, particularly with colors (what to use and how to apply and where) and eyeliner. i also appreciate that you explain how and why it works or doesn't work. it makes it easier to remember what to do.
What a great tutorial! It’s not about the colors & brushes, but adapting your application process. .
Without having to use the same products you're using, I feel that I can follow your steps. You are so good at teaching and I am so happy that I've found you on RUclips!
This is pure gold, even in 2019. #TimelessForHoodedEyes
Even in 2021.... still gold
I totally agree - October 2021 - just out of lockdown when no need to do makeup - but now this is extremely helpful
Brilliant video. I have avoided putting any shadow on at all because of all the reasons you say.....Now I know why! Eureka! Thank you. Can't wait to get into all my little pots of eye shadow that have not seen the light of day in ages.
I agree! Excellent video! Thank you!
My case
I love the comparison! We over 50 need all the help we can get, thanks 😊
You’re very welcome and I’m so glad I could be of help! ☺️ Thank you for your support and comment, it means a lot!
Ikr!!😂
Your eyes are very beautiful too by the way
Thank you!!
h2bizzle i agree. it was hard to concentrate on the tutorial. I'm an "eye" person so trying to watch the tutorial was tough lol
Crazy what a difference it makes, wow! Thanks for the tips!
I used to do my makeup all the time, I was the "Makeup Queen" lol...but I haven't worn any for a really really long time. Thank you so much for doing a simple, straight forward way and also showing the difference between how it the 2 looks, when you do certain things. It was so awesome, and it is really inspiring me to try to feel good about myself....Thank you!
if you do the right eye correctly it looks so freakin awesome on hooded eyes!
Yeah this totally just made me subscribe!! Thank you for actually showing how to do something/explaining. Most "tutorials" are the complete opposite
+R Mmm You're welcome 😊❤
You have just changed my life! I’m 36 and have just figured out I have hooded eyes. Amazing! Thank you
Love your beautiful green eyes :)
+Marnie Williams So glad to hear this! Thank you!
Your eye color so amazing, even the "don't" side was still pretty. 😂
This is an excellent video! Love the comparison, it’s crazy how different they look with the different techniques!
You taught me more about my eyes in 4 minutes than so many other videos I've been trying to learn from. You are wonderful at explaining things simply and straightforward. Thank you so much for this video!
THIS! THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! This has to be the most helpful tutorial for hooded eyes!!! Thank you!
This is the video I didn't know I was looking for. I always got that extra crease whenever I put on eyeshadow, so for years now I've always been very careful to only put eyeshadow on the eyelid, never around. Now I can actually start experimenting with colors and shape :D
Edit: I just tried it and woah, I didn't know I could look like this. I'm amazed
I am so happy to hear!!! Love, love, love getting responses like this one, knowing people like how they look with my tips!❤️
Trying to decide what style i wanted to do for an upcoming wedding, This was the BEST advice ive seen on youtube for hooded downturned eyes. I never gravitated to what u did on the right side, but didnt understand why . U just made it all make sense. Thank you ❤❤
You have beautiful eyes.
Yes i have hooded eyes. All the while, i was doing the wrong thing. thank you.
The best tutorial ever on how to apply makeup on hooded eyes...thank you !
Very clear tutorial on hooded and down turned eyes. What a difference make up can make to complement an eye shape.
Thank you very much! Glad you liked it!
Literally the best and most informative video of all time. Thank you so much!
Monolid makeup: vertical gradients will look sophisticated with your eye shape
Hooded: have the dark color on the bottom and light on top will close your eyes
*Cries* I have hooded monolids
I don't have monolids but my hood usually just go over and hides my lid and i am left crying over it... Like... WHY
Excellent video! Love the not talking for eons about all the details of the products! Very helpful and professionally done tutorial!
Thank you so much!!! I've been doing my eye makeup almost exactly as your don't guidelines and I can't believe the difference when watching you do both eyes. This is so helpful and has inspired me to start wearing makeup again. Thank you so much! 💛
I loooove hooded eyes so I'll try to do all your don'ts and see if I can get that look ohh I love it its so classy and elegant!
YES! it's so much more a sensual look, where as the other is a ... great video to demonstrate though as everyone has different tastes... my vote is for the hooded look, dark, sensual and deep. Thankful someone else thought so too!
Lol...yep😆. When I was younger I hated my hoods and learned to do the ‘correct’ technique. But as my eyes have aged I’ve learned to love my hoods and emphasize them! 🤗. It’s great to have options, either way!!
This just changed my life!! For 20+ I’ve been applying makeup in an unflattering way. Thank you!!❤❤❤
I've stumbled upon your channel by accident and I love how your explanation is clear and simple. Also, you send off a very friendly and likeable vibe. Most makeup youtubers are obnoxious (even though they try to masquarade it... lol)
New Subscriber here 😍
Oh yaaaay! Thank you so much for your kind words! ☺️☺️☺️ I’m so glad I can be of help!
This might be one of the life-changing videos for me. I love the way you explained how and why we should apply the eye make-up that way and the comparison to what others have done in the past (I think me included haha). Great video!
Omg, I watched to the end no skipping or anything. Normally get bored but this time I watched and totally learned. Thank you
Great video, I have never had it explained this way, very helpful.
Have to admit, I didn't fully understand if I had hooded eyes or droopy eyes, until I watched. Either way, I cannot wait to try this. Beautiful.
Excellent tutorial, and btw you have beautiful eyes :)
Right? She could do anything, they would still be beautiful :)
My gosh. I’ve been watching videos for a while now. I appreciate many of them. But you are the FIRST ONE who actually make me see it and understand exactly what I need to do ! Thank you!!!! You’re gorgeous !
Aw thank you so much for saying that!! I’m so glad to hear!!! ❤️🤗
I'm forwarding this to my mom and I'm also(make-believe) forwarding this to 15 of my coworkers! Great tutorial Tina!
+Diana Leon Oh wow thank you so much Diana!
Excellent! Really helpful and totally makes since. Just because a style is trendy doesn't make it work for everyone!!!!!! Thanks
+ersheri Thank you!!
This seriously changed my life and relationship with makeup.
Quick and clear as water 😊 totally appreciate how you showd the right way to do it by comparison.
Thank you so much for your comment! I’m so glad you like it!
Karen Spielholz looking for the same thing!👍 I am blonde, fair skin and in my late 40’s. Need some good makeup tips. If you find them let me know😎
Check out Angie from Hot and Flashy. She does skin care as well as makeup. She’s a little older than you but looks fabulous, and I have learned so much from her!

This woman is in her late 40's/early 50's, and is great with make up and hair. I love her.
you saved me. I'll try wearing eye shadow again
This is the best eye makeup video for hooded eyes I've seen, and I've seen several videos!
EVERYTHING I needed for my droopy hooded eyes. Thanks Belle!
