Thank you for the video. Quick question, what sensor did you replace exactly in the first half of the video. It seems like there's some ambiguity there, on forums. People are saying it's bank one sensor two. But what's your opinion?
I didn’t do any of that . But if you have the check engine light still on , I would reset that or have auto parts store reset it for you . Also sometimes unplugging the battery for few minutes and that can reset your check engine light . I don’t know anything about fuel/air ratio. If you find out please comment and leave your experience, so others can learn from it .
I don’t remember what it was but here is a link someone else is talking about the codes , maybe this will be helpful. Let me know www.justanswer.com/lexus/70v1z-2002-lexus-es300-bad-o2-sensor-code.html
My cel code needs to replace a/f bank 1, sensor 1. Which one of these is the a/f sensor? The other one should an on sensor, right? They are like next to each other. One has a black pig tail electrical harness, the other one has a gray pig tail.
It's very hard to see bank 1 sensor one.. you need to raise the car and get under the exhaust pipe that is coming down from the rear of the engine. You'll see an o2 sensor up towards the top. I sprayed mine with pb blaster today and will attempt replacing it tomorrow. I'll be making a video of it. (On a 2006 Es330)
Either ask auto parts store they might do it for you for free or buy a computer “OBD “ reader and reset it your self. You can also try unplugging the battery positive and negative and wait 5 min and plug it back in.
@@ishmaelshakurworldwide2380 another question. I noticed the 2 covers on his sensors are gray and black. Mine are both gray. Does that matter? Or just the part numbers matter?
@@ishmaelshakurworldwide2380 so i changed both belts. Now when at a stand still, it squeals like crazy when turning the steering wheel all the way to the left and right. Could it be the belt has too much or too little tension?
if i remember correctly its in the back of the engine, close to the windshield. but you want to make sure and double check for sure. THIS IS WHAT I GOT FROM ONLINE ...... Bank 1 Sensor 1 = This O2 sensor is located right before the catalytic converter, on the side with the Cylinder #1 that is Bank 1. Bank 1 Sensor 2 = This O2 sensor is located right after the catalytic converter, on the side with the Cylinder #1 that is Bank 1 ...... HOPE THAT HELPS
This is a GREAT VIDEO!! THANK YOU!!
