You guys would know better than me, but Cole Palmer seems to be a bit similar to Guti Fernandez from the Real Madrid around 2005? The way they carry the ball and Puck out passes seems quite similar, interested to hear your thoughts. Great show though

I have not had time to do the videos. Premium subs to the newsletter get all of the analysis directly in their inbox for English Premier League, Eng Champ, and UEFA CL. (And I've been on a v good run lately.)

What is sanchez doing? Why is he coming out as if its a free cross? If he stays in the middle he has a chance of saving. The gk and cbs are why they aren't in the race

Love the show guys. Interesting as always.
Have you thought about dedicating an episode to women’s football? Maybe a prediction video of the UWCL? Would love to know your thoughts on the women’s game.

While we love women's football and were big supporters at StatsBomb and here, we are not educated enough to do a good women's football show right now. Kim is... and will regularly drop stuff in the newsletter, but outside of World Cups and Euros, that's probably the best we can do for now.

For all their respective qualities, Palmer is also just a more aesthetic footballer imo. Theres always been a fondness for languidity, and Palmer has it in spades.
And on Ireola. I think he stays another season myself. He's a very bright guy, and it doesnt seem like there's going to be an obvious opening this summer at a club where he would feel comfortable (I dont feel he would have taken the Man United job for example, in part because it's still all over the place, and in part because he's already got a shop window where he can show his qualities against some of the best teams and coaches in the world, and also has very bright employers). I could have seen City take a chance on him, but perhaps if Bournemouth had qualified for Europe and he'd had a season balancing the commitments. I could certainly see Spurs being in the ballpark, but I do think he could do even better. How about this for a long shot. Arteta leaves Arsenal in the summer of 2026 after failing to win the Prem, and Iraola takes over.

I really don’t understand the constant Chelsea digs. I get banter and thats fine but telling your listeners to stop asking about cfc segment you wont do it a few episodes ago. Cfc players being only best in the league because of penalties. your intern hire etc.

Actually, we were almost completely positive in our analysis of the current Chelsea team, but it's possible that two Arsenal fans might occasionally poke fun at other teams who in the league in a knowledgeable, light-hearted way.
We ALSO make fun of Arsenal and their fans too!
If it's too much for you, ChelseaChelsea, definitely feel free not to listen.

@ oh, dont worry (not that you are) when its “too much” for me i wont tune in. Not being held hostage too.
And my critique wasnt on this one episode segment as i mentioned above. But oh well
