Aguero above Shearer, Lampard and Gerard is ridiculous to me. Also Chelsea have the best attack statistically in the league pretty much. Most goals per game, most shots per match, highest xG, and 2nd most big chances created right behind liverpool. Arsenal should be mixing it up with Brentford and Spurs who have been just as good or even better going forward.
I'm biased maybe cause I'm a Newcastle fan but for me the order of the top 5 if we're going one per club would probably be Rooney, Shearer, Henry, Lampard, Gerrard but that might also be influenced by me being 19 years old so I didn't really live through Henry's time, but Rooney was probably the best while I was growing up

Even factoring in this video being filmed a few weeks ago, I'm shocked Arsenal were thought of as the second best attack. Saka is great, but Havertz, Martinelli, Jesus and Trossard have all been fairly poor.
Gerrard was lorded by many of the best players ever, Maldini, Zidane, Henry etc, that he was the best midfielder they have ever seen. He carried a very mediocre Liverpool side for the majority of his career, he drove his team to the best UCL win ever and the best FA cup final win for ages. Stevie has the scouse factor and the "carried us through tough times" tag on him which is great but in terms of greatness, salah has surpassed him, imo. Every top player played for the biggest teams, won multiple individual accolades and had the talent and stats to back it up. So for me personally, trophies are a symbol of having "gone the distance" to back up all your talent as a player. Hence why I would rate salah above Gerrard.

My vote is literally all the pundits and commentary people. Average fans aren’t all bad, but people whose livelihoods are predicated on creating content for football as a career, are one of the main purveyors of all the most annoying fans, they just profit off it and then act like they’re better somehow. Both feed into each other.
Pundits live off of creating content… what are you on about. Pundits will generally have way more bias toward their own because they know them. The ones we should actually care about are mangers and now director of footballs’. Roy Keane and Micah Richards won’t know more than many content creators, Ben in this video and James Alcott just off the top of my head.

As a Gooner it’s sad to see it’s in trend to hate us atm. It wasn’t really like that before, in my experience everyone hated Chelsea, made fun of Spurs and then more recently, disdain for City. Yes we have annoying fans, but every fan base does. I just think the spotlight is on us atm because we’re coming so close to being on top again but falling short. Personally I just love football, I don’t pay attention too much to other teams and their fans. I’ve never said “we are winning something this year!” Or ever felt entitled to. Football is hard. There’s many top teams, spending 100’s of millions, all chasing a trophy that only 1 of them can win. Trophies are ultimately the goal, but I don’t get hung up on them too much. They don’t define a successful or entertaining season, for me. Personally I’m just happy we’re back in the conversation for titles, after enduring a pretty toxic and depressing decade or so. And finally (up until very recently) playing great football again, with a team to be proud of.

If I’m going off of quality as it’s only Saka. Gabriel (defender) has been a better scorer than both Kai and Trossard/martineli combined, I guess as a whole they are like the 3rd or fourth best attacking unit in the league. They are definitely behind Chelsea and I think arguably spurs. (Atleast in their recent form) I’d take solanke, Madison, kuelesjezki, and son over arsenals attack any day. Sakah can’t carry em alone

My vote is literally all the pundits and commentary people. Average fans aren’t all bad, but people whose livelihoods are predicated on creating content for football as a career, are one of the main purveyors of all the most annoying fans, they just profit off it and then act like they’re better somehow. Pundits live off of creating content… what are you on about. Pundits will generally have way more bias toward their own because they know them. The ones we should actually care about are mangers and now director of footballs’. As a Gooner it’s sad to see it’s in trend to hate us atm. It wasn’t really like that before, in my experience everyone hated Chelsea, made fun of Spurs and then more recently, disdain for City.
Yes we have annoying fans, but every fan base does. I just think the spotlight is on us atm because we’re coming so close to being on top again but falling short.
Personally I just love football, I don’t pay attention too much to other teams and their fans. I’ve never said “we are winning something this year!” Or ever felt entitled to.
Football is hard. There’s many top teams, spending 100’s of millions, all chasing a trophy that only 1 of them can win. Trophies are ultimately the goal, but I don’t get hung up on them too much. They don’t define a successful or entertaining season, for me.
Personally I’m just happy we’re back in the conversation for titles, after enduring a pretty toxic and depressing decade or so. And finally (up until very recently) playing great football again, with a team to be proud of.

If I’m going off of quality as it’s only Saka. Gabriel (defender) has been a better scorer than both Kai and Trossard/martineli combined,
