I'm 67 and all my life always wanted children but was never blessed to have them. Sitting here with tears in my eyes watching the warmth, love and affection between you and Sadie. She is an amazing little girl and will grow up to be an amazing young lady. Kaylee, you are a wonderful mom❤ and Jordan is a wonderful dad. Such a beautiful family 💕

Hi Beth. I am your age and was blessed to adopt two girls when I was in my 40's. While it was difficult, it was also incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. Now I am blessed to be grandma to two wonderful little girls. If you can, find a family that needs a grandma that could adopt you and you them. Perhaps in your church community. I agree, Kaylee and Jordan are giving Sadie her best life. I love how she lit up at the idea of doing the Hokie Pokie.

@@pattya1679 Hi Patty! You certainly were blessed to have been able to adopt your daughters. And how wonderful to now be a grandma. I like your idea of 'adopting' a family. I may look into that after I deal with some health and medical issues. I, too, loved seeing them do the Hokie Pokie!!

You're a one in a million mom Kaylie. I turned 54 yesterday, have 2 daughters 34.& 29 and a 13 yr old grandson all of whom live far away. I've missed being a mom for quite a while, but over the last yr it's begun to hit so much harder, my heart truly aches. I told my oldest just yesterday, "I miss it so much, I'd give anything to be able to go back to when they were little and do it all over again". Treasure EVERY moment, it truly does go by so incredibly fast. It's the hardest, but the greatest thing we can accomplish in life... If society just allowed women to be mothers as nature intended and not made us think we're supposed to do and be all these other things on top of it, there wouldn't be as many unhappy moms.

Agreed 1000% motherhood has been my greatest accomplishment and my fondest memories. I have never been happier than when I have my kids around.. I will be 55 July 11th I have a 35 year old a 31 year old(on May 8th) a 17 year old and a 5 year old grand daughter!!! These have been the most fulfilling and best years of my life!! I Love EVERY stage & age of the growing up process and of parenting!!! Don’t get me wrong ,there were many years of struggles and scarcity and wondering if I’m making the best decisions for my family etc.. but I would Not Change One thing!!! I was pregnant at 18 gave birth at 19 and have NEVER HAD ONE REGRET!!!! I did not ever feel like I missed out on anything, I was so happy to be a mom!!! It was very difficult at times but is the single most important and fulfilling part of my life!! Both of my adult children and my Grand baby live thousands of miles away from me now and That is the Hardest part for me!!! Praying my youngest doesn’t go too far, even-if to another state I’m hopeful it will be within driving distance to visit .🥰😉 God Bless you sweet momma Kaylie and all the mommas out there!!!!

It has never been more clear on how important it is to be in charge of your life. Being self-sufficient and raising your children to be hard working and in nature is the way to go.

One of the most precious things about raising children is witnessing how they see the world. What I learned from each of my children is the indescribable beauty of seeing life through the eyes of a child❤❤ When they started school, they kind of lost that wonder, so I had to have another baby, selfishly, just to have that experience again. I found that each child had a totally different take on their world....mind blowing🤯
Wishing you the abundance of joy a child brings into the world💚🌈💛 Stay safe, be well and see ya next time👋👋👋👋

My first time as a mother changed not only me as a person, but the way I wanted to be perceived. I became, as your analogy, a new and improved version of myself. As he grew older, introspectively, I realized he trained me to be the mother he needed. I adored him and could not get enough. His joy was my joy and my first and greatest creation. Boy, did I ever learn a lot. He trained me so that I was a better mother for number two son seven years later. I enjoyed your show and thought your analogy was spot on!😊

🦋 i’m glad to hear you approach it from the positive side because that’s how I felt the whole time I was raising my daughter it was so much fun and I loved every minute of it. And prior to her being born people were saying to me things like well you don’t know what you’re in for you can’t say that because you’re not a parent. I have been a nursery school teacher for quite a few years and loved every minute of that as well.. I knew many of the parents that I dealt with told their kids what to do, but never taught them what to do. I applied the teachable moment over and over and over in my daughters upbringing, and it made life so much easier for us both.. I love how you guys are raising Sadie Jo And that you’re doing it together with Jordan is another reason why it’s turning out so well. You are a great mom. That’s one of the reasons why I love you videos. Much love and many blessings to you all.

Hugs to you all, Sady is an absolute doll and makes me smile. You are great parents and such hard workers. Be blessed! ❤

I miss videos like this one!!! A little more personal and slowed down. More like " moments" than zooming and skimming through in such a hurry. Maybe this one involved less coffee?? Lol😂❤ Anyway I loved it so much I watched it 4 times! Sadie is such a joy to watch growing up. Sweet to see Lola so happy to have a home. I remember back to when you first got Lola❤ Thanks for sharing this slice of your life. Mines pretty boring compared to yours. Lol.

I really appreciate the language Kaylee uses surrounding motherhood. For the child-free among us, the positive clichés that we hear from moms usually come off feeling pretty condescending and make us feel lesser-than. You have a way with words that uplift mothers without making the rest of us feel like we are missing out on something “essential” to life. You are wonderful, purposeful and we appreciate you so much.

Just landed a job in a greenhouse, yes! Getting your hands in the dirt and all the smells, my neurons are on fire 🔥🌱. This was a goal of mine towards this time in my life. And its seasonal. Which means I get to have the cold winters to be able travel to warmth and sunshine ☀️😊. Your videos bring back memories of my babies and that special time and the work.
