Building my 1st Capra also, started build with a Treal Skid, going for F&R steer. Just finishing initial build now, had a snafu with my electronics and A minor glitch on replacement, but things are working out nicely. I too have the Front portal overdrive to install, and a hefty Vivaton brass 3rd member cover up front. Did a Droop front and rear with some aluminum KYX offsets. Reefs 444 front, 99dig, and a 299 for the rear. Moved my HW AXE FOC 540 R1 2300KV from my Gen 8 Axe over to the Capra, and Upgraded the Axe to a HW AXE FOC 540L R2 2800KV. I wanted to put the new system in the Capra but I forgot the L was for Long and it needs a 550 Profile to fit, the Carpa skid won't work, so the swap. Should be finishing up the initial build this week, and then orderdering the parts and converting the rear axle to steerable. After all is done, I will be grabbing a couple Treal Front axles and some Samix Brass for the Portals.
Thats going to be an awesome little truck... Ive been really impressed with the quality of the Treal parts. I considered doing rear steer also but with it having dig I figured I didn't need it. Plus I love the clearance and look of the capra rear axle. Would love to see it when its done my friend👍👍
Not installing but it super easy. Just goes right in. And then just set ur endpoints in ur transmitter. I love these trucks just built another one. Thank you 👍
THE ONE PART THAT CAUGHT MY EYE WAS THE COVER WHERE THE DRIVERS GO... I WAS MAKING ONE BUT I SEE YOURS IS CONTOURED WITH VENTING WAS THIS PART OF THE KIT OR DID YOU ORDER IT????
Say "darn good" goat...is a stretch, overused term. Not much meaning any longer when us broke fokes try to keep conquering rocks. Mambas, reefs, etc. Very nice you can put that into a rig. Many cannot. Don't misunderstand, super crawler suggestions are welcome by us all

Great Video. What would the difference be between the 2700kv and the 2200kv motors? I'm new to this and am not sure which will be a better fit
Thank you. Basically a higher kv moter is going to spin faster for this truck a 2200kv is better I only used the 2700kv for the sake of the video

Bolt on the wheel is 1.5 but I can’t remember take a screw head and put it over the bolt and it will tell you the size
