Thanks for the help. I was able to fix it with two 20 pound cable ties and then epoxy it all in place to keep the little bead in place. The plastic housing for the wire bead breaks and then the bead will not move the window anymore because it not attached to the window lifter. Probably stronger than original with the epoxy

I have my 2006 DTS rear right regulator out. The part that slides up and down the track portion is not connected to the cable. Can that be fixed or do I need a new regulator?

So what aboit if its just the window control panel/switch and you need to get your windows up??

Not the switch. If its making NO sound at all likely a cut or crimped wire in the wiring harness between the door and the body of the car (in the rubber boot). Take off the door panel and you could just apply current to the motor to raise the window.

I took my cadillac dts to the cadillac dealer here in Jacksonville he charged me $535 telling me it takes 3 hours to install the regulator , after 2 days I called the. Cadillac dealer ask him if my car was ready today , he tells me.not yet the regular hasn't.came today
I'm like ok ill be there in 10 minutes
Got to the dealer and told him your asking way to much money het my car now
I drove away happy

Inside the rubber boots where the wires run you might have a cut or crimped wire. Check that out.
