Finally got my hands on some Underwood and am loving it. Had to go with 147+p rather then the 124+p+ I wanted but thats all I have been able to find and it has been running great. Thanks
I just picked up some of the Buffalo Bore +p+ at my local gun shop. For 124 gr. 1250-1300 fps is great, plus that is a lot of energy in the round. I was just worried about a stock Glock 17 with this round. I generally use Winchester Ranger 147 gr. as my defensive round, but coming in under 1000 fps has me worried about expansion and energy. Great video
Nice video! Once again UNDERWOOD AMMO does what it claimes it will do! Why do the other ammo brands water down their claimed velocities? Its total bullshit and they need to be held accountable for thier false claims of performance!
Would you recommend Buffalo bore ammo, Its the only hot ammo that can be found right now and i am in need for some of the hottest ammo on the market for carrying my g17 in the woods.
10' jus seems like u'll lose a lot of energy... Hvnt u seen graphs of ballistics that illustrate muzzle energy, 10yds, 20yds, 30yds, 40yds, 50yds? 10' only equals 3' but y would they have it b 7yds, 20, 30, 40, 50yds?
Justin Weaver Sir, generally anything closer tends to give bad readings. Sometimes because the unburnt powder (depending on the powder type/burn rate, barrel length etc) will fly through/over the chronograph and conflict with the chronograph reading the bullet or the powder...thus weird readings. 10 feet = about 3.3 yards. Generally it's considered that many shootings happen at 10 feet. So the chrono at 10 feet is a good reference as well. When it comes to pistol ammo. Most time I see on the box a muzzle velocity, 25yd and 50yd velocities. With the energy at said distances. Haven't really seen much stuff posted by major commercial manufacturers at 10 20 30 40 yds. With a $125 chronograph down range , shooting multiple types of ammo, unrested...I don't feel like taking the risk that I might graze some part of the chronograph. A flinch is easy to happen and magnified the further you go out. The room for error even at 10 feet is only a few inches.
Wldnt u b safer from damaging the chrono @ a cpl feet; not TEN, bcuz u'd b more accurate? Ten jus seems a lil far for an accurate reading... Btw, I always see 25yds n 50yd on my ammo, but TEN FEET jus seems a lil far. Btw, my brother shot a gun @ 50' with a handgun, but I kno the AVERAGE is about 10 :-) 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 yards or feet, jus seems like a better idea.

stock glock 9mm will handle it. BB does warn about glock in 40sw stock barrels...they tend to have less chamber support than 9mm.
did a 147gr vid as well...and also did a video with kkm barrel. I like 124gr for most situations.

Great ammo
Buffalo Bore or Corbon would be my next choice after Underwood Ammo.
Enjoy the chronos. 115 is just too light for 9mm IMO to be effective.
your welcome...yeah it's great ammo at a fair price.
Why did u stand 10' away from the chronograph? You should b a max of 10" away...
chronograph manual said 10 feet so that is what i did. never heard of 10 inches
