I studied to be a pilot in real life, I have been flying in flight simulators too for 20 years. This is some of the best flying and best gunnery that I have ever seen. The fact this video has 3.8k views is a crime, but don't let the view count dissuade you my dude, just know that many of us recognize you as the legend you are.
Superb flying, especially defensively. Showing the technochat is really helpful. A couple of questions if you don't mind. Do you link throttle and RPM in all aircraft? Are there any conditions under which you don't? I have always tended to set the RPM to combat/emergency when needed and only manipulated the throttle in a fight. I close, turning fights you seem to always go for 100% flaps. Again, would this be a habit in all aircraft? Do the flaps even deploy at the initial high speed? When I have used flaps and there is a percentage setting I have tended to only go about 20%. That said, I think it will be 100 from now on!
I wouldn't recommend flying most other planes this way, P39 is unique in that it has the tools to slow down and maneuver with a 109. Only a few planes have this capability in IL2.

@@Krupnski mouse view, that's interesting? Btw i disabled y axis in trackIR , because my gunsight was not at the center after high G manuvers like pulling out of dive . You loose that second or two to recenter it manually. You did the same to manage those behavior?
Was watching some old Scharfi videos and decided I needed to figure out what is up with her wingman (or flight lead, your choice, a tossup). You may shoot that 37mm cannon every bit as well as she does. Not much of a prize in a long shot, but it rules the knife fight. . . In the right hands. Seems like you also leave off the .30 cal. wing guns. I had a conversation with her back a few years when she still carried them: then she said she carried every gun she could get, but she seems to have changed her mind. Not expecting this is news, but the Russian pilots left them off to pick up some roll rate. Besides, 2 .50 cals plus the cannon were more firepower than they were accustomed to anyway. I would think the weight savings would be a factor also.

Ну и очевидно тут повальная деградация "синей команды" которая поголовно бросается в сталлфайт, сливает преимущество в энергии и попадает в зубы этой злобной кобры. Фока на 4 минуте попыталась огрызаться, но фока на закрылках в сталлфайте у 95% пилотов - залог скорого прыжка с парашютом. Хотя против такой стрельбы даже классический уход вверх после атаки на энергии череват большим риском поймать в попу 37мм "огурец")
Am I correct in assuming that you have your axis adjusted so that you can't stall the plane ? If not how are you keeping those planes at the edge of stall and newer stall. Great Maneuvering and legendary precision no hate just curiosity.❤
@Krupnski Thank you, and please do more vídeos with the P-39 Airacobra. He's a too overrated plane in the US. 🥺🥺🥺 He deserve some love of the US, the russians showed it pretty well.
Beautiful. It makes you realise how the Russians made a 'useless' fighter so effective. I love flying it but have never mastered how to fight effectively in it.

I don't use any curves or limits on my controls, it's muscle memory/experience from flying for so long.
