Hello Adam! Glad to see you devote an episode to CCR, one of my top 25 favorites. Here's my rank: 1. Cosmo's Factory 2. Green River 3. Willy And The Poor Boys 4. Bayou Country 5. Pendulum 6. Creedence Clearwater Revival (self-titled) 7. Mardi Gras As always, looking forward to your next video!
I think you pretty much nailed it! I'm inclined to place Cosmo's at #1 but I'm not about to form an argument against Green River. Thanks for doing this video on a great American band.
Originally they were my dad's band, Tommy Fogerty and The Blue Velvets, then The Visions, but the record label renamed them The Golliwogs ( which they hated ! ) then. In 1967 they became Creedence Clearwater Revival
Great information as usual Adam. Not a band that I am overly familiar with in depth with only compilations in my collection. I only recently came across their version Of heard it through the grapevine which if you don't compare to the original is very impressing.
Hi, If it's possible I would like you to do a video about rock in spanish, maybe Charly Garcia, Serú Giran, Spinetta or Pappo. By the way, I really enjoy your videos
They were MY band when I was 9 to 11 years old. Still after 50 years I think they were a great band. Despite their enormous success they were underrated because these songs are really classic and timeless, not just chart fodder. Fortunate Son is as relevant these days as back then. Although they were primarily a singles band, their full albums really stand the test of time and their deep cuts and covers are really good. 7966. Mardi Gras (This belongs on to another list - it is number 1 of the most disgraceful breakup albums of all times.) ___________________________________________________________________________ 6. Here we go. I was just waiting for the infamous adjective "underrated" to appear. I knew I could not be disappointed.

What a great band to be in to when you are 9 years old!
