This channel is a freaking great idea! It preannounces to be one of the very best quality pov channel on RUclips (I'm pretty tired with the usual others that everyone knows). Pure pov, great roads, fantastic camera angle (!), no talking, keep going Luke!!
I am a student in an international country. And I miss driving sooooo bad. This channel relinquishes that desire to drive, well at least to some level. So thanks a lot.
wait a second, is this your first video? damm i got here way too early and i don't regret at all! no doubt porsche is such a beauty of a car...this must the goal i can't forget.
Too bad you didn't go past 7k once. Between 7500 and that 9k redline is where that intoxicating raspy wail lies and you hear the true essence of this car, the reason that airbox is in the cabin behind your ears.
Then you missed it, also I guess you have never driven one but this is a public road, you can't just hit max revs always as you'll be going over the limit.
@@carswithlukepov haven't yet, its on my list :) Also live in Switzerland, lets be honest, people usually drive a little over the "80" speed limit ;) especially on the passes
3:02 Quite long geared... That 1st gear moment was WTF. I think this car would benefit from a 10% shorter ratios (like many modern Porsches specially those with manual 6 gears. Other cars too). I suposse this is due to emissions regulations etc
Mr. Cars with Luke, would you share your POV camera setup? I have tried so many different mounts and cant seem to find anything to get a good angle. Appreciate it either way!
Right now I'm trying out setups myself but this is just with the mouth grip, takes a bit of time to find the right angle. Just don't use the head mount, that's too high.
@@carswithlukepov Gotcha, I tried the head mount as well, definitely too high. I also tried the shoulder mount (gives an awkward view of your inner ear), the chest mount which is too low and the neck mount which is usable for sure, but just a tad bit too low and doesn't give the same dynamic quality because it obviously doesn't turn as you turn your head. The only complaint with the mouth mount is you have to bite down for such a long period of time and with the weight of the camera it gets a little uncomfortable. Either way, I appreciate the feedback and look forward to the rest of your content! I'll be posting my first POV video soon, I'll send it your way if you wanna check it out! Side note: congrats on the GT3 mate
Dude nice editing! But why not going for 9k rpm? The magic with this car starts after 8k... my 991.2 GT3 screams godly after 8k, can't imagine how this GT4RS sounds in person. :)
@@carswithlukepov blurr your speedo and before you do it, Check the route for police/speedcams whatever and you can show the world the full potential. Will help your youtube channel alot. Good luck!
@@WerdeOnlineErfolgreich Not sure where you live but that doesn't work in Switzerland, blurring your speed is just admitting to speeding. I'm fine with it, speed limits are there to protect people, others more than yourself.
It's a GT4 RS, you keep the revs high to enjoy it and keep in the power range, you can't compare this to normal driving or normal day to day cars, it's a totally different machine.
Hi Luke. Can you please post a video of several runs demonstrating the the intake sound of the engine between 2800 and 4500 RPMs? Maybe half to 3/4 throttle in the appropriate high gear (in manual mode without changing gears) building up the velocity. Maybe windows slightly cracked sometimes and sometimes all the way raised. Starting say around 30 mph, another starting around 40 mph, another starting at 50, etc. It would be interesting for me since the intake sound is something I’ve read all about and as I have an RS car on order I’m wondering if there is a special intake sound present that Preuringer and the media speak about but which I cannot distinguish when the engine is washing out all other sounds during high RPM and high acceleration runs. I imagine this will be fun for you and for your audience. Thank you!
I bought a GT4 RS this week cause of this video.
Congrats! Have fun with it 😇💪🏻🎉
Congrats man! Thinking about getting it... what's your experience with it until now?
The delicate art of creating lovley soundtrack without incriminating yourself for speeding each time u slide over 80kph.
Finally someone that understands why I can't and wont hit 9k revs every time. Smooth and steady road fun.

Love the use of the gear lever to change gears! 🙌
It’s manual?
Sequential
No and also no it’s a PDK which is Porsche’s dual clutch. That is a manual transmission that is computerized and shifted automatically by the TCM
@@thedriftninja8393 bruh thats not sequential
@@squidwardshouse67 there is a manual transmission for this car which is amazing.
Such an amazing car! And what a great road wow, subbed
Guy thought he was driving the standard GT4, and didn't realise that the RS does something special between 8 and 9000rpm!
Im before he has 1k subs on this channel? BLESSED

How did I not know there was a Cars W Luke POV lol. What did you record this with?? Sounds amazing

Why
Didn't realise you had this channel also, may be worth a couple more mentions on main channel?

Nice Laurato Chrono! Looks much better than internet photos.
Really does, I changed the strap to the all black one now also to make it more stealth.

I see why they added a stick sequential; when you are turning in you dont have to worry about which paddle to pull

You really think it sounds better than the M1 Procar?!😏: ruclips.net/video/fPj_8WPsDAw/видео.html
J'adore le brouille du moteur méchante Porsche 😎😎😎
De belles images. Le son du moteur est envoûtant et le panorama est fantastique. Pour une première vidéo, bravo 👍

Sure there will be some!
Them 5.slows been real quiet since this dropped.

really? top rmp in a Chiron would be double the speed limit, not so smart ;-)

Could you please tell me where is this place? Thanks in advance.
The GT4 RS induces an emotional response similar to that of the LFA.
Rev matching sound is awesome! But for everyday use I prefer to mute it little bit.
You can't mute it, that's just how it is.
What's the camera/mic setup you use for the POV angle? 😊
is this like a video from schaaf, just with cars? xD
