Driving up a mountain road with everything around covered in snow with my friends, all driving high performance sports cars, is certainly a dream of my own. I am now able to live the dream atleast through your videos, Luke. Please, never stop doing what you do. Controversial opinion but I reckon I'd take the Spyder RS over a GT3. What an utter masterpiece, and you've managed to showcase it better than I could possibly imagine. Might just be my favourite video of the year.
Personally I would take the GT3 for the engine and the normal 718 Spyder regarding the simple roof construction.

I would take the GT4RS over any other Porsche out there
In terms of desirability it's spyder rs > gt3 > gt4 rs > gt3 rs for me

Luke man you are the reason I drove 5 hours to go visit and drive on Susten pass last year in a little Fiat 500. Watching this video and remembering the roads is just awesome.

I love coming back to this film over and over again, for a motorcyclist there is no better compromise of sensations and emotions than a convertible roadster, and since it's all shown so well here, I can feel your emotions... bravo and bravo again
I recon they removed the barriers for winter closing so that the snow will not brake them.
You could improve driving open by manually setting the heater facing to you and in the foot area with 25 degrees and ventilator on max.

After watching I lowered my spyder from the lift (it was ready for a winter) , my son join me in M3 E93 with top down and we went for chill drive , it was epic . Thank you for pushing me for one more drive before winter. Epic video, epic drive !!!!

Love seeing winter come in early in other parts of the world. We're still running the air conditioner here in So Cal but the cold is coming!

Pretty happy that I brought my car with me from Munich to Lisbon for my Erasmus semester, I won't have problems with my summer tires in the next months 🤓

Love the MGB. I had a 67 MGB GT in british racing green for 3 years, which I sold last year to make room for the ultimate dream car, an ice green metallic 1977 Porsche 911S. The Porsche is a better car in every way possible, but the GT is such a fun car and I have so many great memories of that thing. I had to bump start mine frequently as well 😂

Guard railings have been removed so they don't get damaged by snow pressure or avalanches. Once drove over Grimselpass as one of the last cars before winter closure and it had no railings at all on the south side hairpins, not even the poles left like in this vid, which felt very odd (north side has mostly stone guards).

I just did those three passes on October 19th (Süsten, Furka, Grimsel) with my 23 911 GTS that I picked up from Zuffenhausen. I live in the US, so this was a nice European Delivery trip. I saw a Spyder RS like this one at the Werksabholung building in Zuffenhausen, but was more interested in the 911 S/T they had. ;)

I drove a 968 into a snowstorm in the Rockies. Got about 10miles in, started sliding across the lanes and turned around. Was the scariest drive I've ever been on. Porsche on summer tires + snow = tight sphincter.

The future Mrs. Luke. I have a 981 Spyder and drive the hell out of it in the canyons. Never been jealous of the 982 versions till now. That engine is just special. Nice that you get to meet with a bunch of enthusiasts at the top too.

Well, not the coming 8 months....
I remember a pass drive in Austria, where I thought I can still drive up although it started snowing. 3 curves later I just had spinning wheels in the snow (Boxster), and I couldn't continue one single meter....
