right i was like wait the rs is in manual?? Gonna be honest, I think this car would be so much more fun with a manual, but I guess "performance" and all. . .
@@YasukeNakamoto Caymans are known for long ass gears, I know a manual always seems to be better but one go at a Porsche PDK and you’ll understand why this car gets so much more out of the auto.

@@YasukeNakamoto I think the philosophy of the cars make sense. If you want to drive a manual, you’re probably not seeking the fastest lap times, you’re seeking driving enjoyment. In that case the non-RS model is a better buy.
@@zakarywin7645 I think the Manual is best suited for the Cayman GTS's imo. I'm a manual driver myself too, my current car is a Toyota 86, and damn are they best with a Manual. For the GT4 RS, I'd still take the Manual over the PDK. As good as those autos are, I'll take driver engagement over purely performance
I don't have GT4 RS money, but I do have decent headphone money. Probably the only time I'll ever experience the sound of this thing, so I'm glad the audio is excellent.

That sounds amazing. Maybe best sounding car in the world, at least from cabin POV. So raw in the last 500 RPM. Don’t need more performance when it sounds this good.

ı love this channel because his straight forward and mentions about rear seats he sits and test back seats even sport cars, no fancy intros or outros calm and whole video flows smoothly. he is not so excited to yell or talk loud so i can watch his videos when im chilling at home. The induction noise absolutely makes this car. Good lord. What a lovely sound. The way the throttle blips so rapidly on downshifts is incredible. It's a truly special car.

It’s so cool how even through the binaural audio the engine sounds closer to you in this than in the 911 GT3. Those shifts couldn’t be quicker. Such an amazing car.

I bought one of the first ones of these cars to hit California. Used it as my daily driver for six months. Perfection. Greatest car ever.
THE perfect sports car. Mid-engine, enough power, high revs, relatively light,
Very light, 3,200lbs is very light for a modern sports car with all the modern safety regulations and stuff, its not a lightweight like a Miata or a BRZ, but those cars also arent lugging around a 4.0L engine. Even the new flagship Lotus, the Emira weighs over 3,100lbs.
Needs a manual transmission
@@sebastianromero420RS cars dont get them since they’re for the maximum performance (yet they limit the 4rs with the skinny front tires???), that’s why there is the manual option for the non rs gt4 and gt3
@@sebastianromero420 Why would you want a manual when you have a 7 speed PDK? Literally the greatest and fastest gearbox ever put in a road car. The GT4 RS is also the highest performance version of the Cayman, it wouldn't really make sense to put a manual in an RS car, cause the PDK offers far more performance than any manual
@@lachlanjeffery88 I just wouldn't by a manual Porsche, cause their PDKs are just so good. If I were to buy something like a Mustang I would definitely get a manual cause the other option would be that awful 10 speed torque converter.
I just think this is the best car in the world. I Can’t find it, or afford it if I could find it, or fit in it if I could afford it. But I think it’s the best.

It's amazing how good that engine sounds although to me it sounds really muffled. Only because I have the same engine but my exhaust has no side mufflers and smaller cats. I can't imagine what this car would sound like with full exhaust...
Owning one of this in Europe, I can tell you you are lucky to not have our Environment regulations. The note exhaust is so different!!!

For me, the only thing that can compete with this in terms of sound, engine responsiveness and willingness to rev up and high is the Ferrari 458 italia or it’s track focused variant.
