I pretty much accomplished the same results on my non speced PSE 2009 Carrera S!
The first mod was to replace the center exhaust with Sharkwerks crossover exhaust. This mod was close to the sound I wanted, but did not quite have the raspy flat 6 sound that I was expecting.
I then swapped out my stock mufflers with Fister mufflers and this nailed it.
