I would buy a 911 from you guys in an instant. Long time subscriber. I love what you do. You do such great and necessary work that owners of these cars either need or will need. I’ve owned 996, 987, and 997 (and 993). I’m in the US, but know that these videos and your skill, dedication, and attitude is the currency Porsche owners around the world pay a premium to associate with. Thanks for the video and keep it up. Cheers!

Probably the cringiest thing to reply to my own comment, but I can’t contain myself. For the record PSE is my favorite option on the 997. I had a 997.1 and it was always on unlike the 997.2 which is selectable. I didn’t realize when I got the car how amazing that silly little option changes how you feel listening to the car while in it. Again, thanks for the great work you do for these cars and the 996/997 community

Really enjoy your videos, you guys make it all look so easy. Hoping for some more 991 videos. I am looking into getting the 2016 c4s the last NA 911 sans GT. Would love your thoughts and input on the 991.1 and 991.2

Poor Ollie is having to work while all bundled up, but the garage door is wide open. What's up with that Luc? 😆 🤣
They're not as loud as I feared they would be. I've never been a fan of loud, just fast.

I have a PSE on my 997 from the factory, but it’s stupid expensive to purchase after the fact. I would have gone with one of the many many aftermarket choices. Soul performance makes really great products that sound great and are 50% of a new PSE.

Suncoast Porsche has the PSE for $2550 including the dash switch and the tips. Soul's side muffler pair come without a new center section and without new tips is $2635 (which is fine, I would delete the center muffler anyway and that's where I'd get an aftermarket center muffler delete kit no matter what system one goes with.

This would be a good time to service the plugs and coil packs while the exhaust is off. The exhaust upgrade mechanical bits look fairly simple, its the electrical and vacuum tie-ins that makes it a lot more complex.
    Couple questions,
    1) What does this kit cost from Porsche?
    2) Does the performance exh kit add any HP/Torque to the powertrain over the factory specs?
Thanks for the detailed installation vid!

Regarding your 2nd question - No, the PSE does not add any kind of "more power" to the car (not really needed on 997.2 models I feel), but the engine can "easier" breathe out when the PSE is in Sport-Mode. So yes, it should have a minimum of a positive impact to the performance of the car. I could not really feel any more power in my Carrera S, but the PSE is one of the best retro-fits. 👍

@@DerLandgraf Thanks for your response i have a S also and found out a plenum swap nor this Exhaust mod really add any more power. But like you mentioned they really don't need it. If i really needed more power i would go with a pro tuner, no wrenching involved.

This helped me with an aftermarket switchable system. But I think I hear piston slap with this car??

I had the same impression, actually. Also a lot of smoke, but then again, I’m no expert.

Hmmm what if i have the PSE, but only a sport button but no exhaust tone button? My exhaust has the vacuum actuators. So does this mean the sport button would operate the actuators automatically in sport mode? I have the chrono pkg - base 997.1
