Menuda 💩 de motores estos vw...y luego dicen que los PSA son otra 💩, pues mi ds4 (de Citroen) con motor 1.6 vti (famoso motor que fabricó con BMW que tantos dicen que son una 💩) con 145mil km y sin hacerle nada de nada funciona fino fino, mejor que nuevo 💪💪

Doy fe que con la distribución se arregla. Al mío se me quitó y va mejor que nuevo :)

Buenas, tengo un golf V 1.4 TSi 140cv. 399.000Km (año 2007) Hace un mes empecé a notar que al arrancar, en frío, sube de vueltas y tiembla. Cuando las revoluciones bajan de 1000 a su ralentí habitual, se enciende la luz de avería motor de forma intermitente. Solo se enciende la primera vez en el día, el resto de veces no (también las vibraciones). Si hago varias salidas con él, solo me ocurre la primera vez, cuando está muy frío. Tras enchufarlo al ordenador, dio fallo en el cilindro nº4, con un amigo mecánico cambiamos las bobinas y seguía dando fallo en el cilindro 4. Comprobamos las bujías y tampoco eran las bujías. Lo siguiente que hicimos fue comprobar la compresión de los cilindros: En frío el cilindro nº4 marcaba 10, el cilindro nº3 marcaba 6, el cilindro nº2 marcaba 6, y el cilindro 1 marcaba 10. En caliente la presión de los cuatro cilindros fue de 10. No sé qué más hacer, si abrir el motor o qué. puede ser la cadena? en la casa oficial me dicen que hay que hacer culata creen Alguno que pueda orientarme? gracias

Hi. Is there just 1 valve that opens & closes or are there 2 on each side muffler side?

I’m currently testing the noco 5 on my car battery purchased in 2013 and after 2 1/2 years of use, sat, in the car, unused for another 3 years. Took it out of the car, measured voltage at the battery store at 7 volts (or dead)… measured at home with my analog voltmeter at 5 volts. Put it on the Noco at noon, last checked around 10pm that evening and the lights indicated close to full charge. Woke up the next morning (today), and the lights indicate back to first light or in the initial process of charging. So .. I’m not sure what happened overnight. Also, it’s now making a buzzing noise at the battery itself. I’m waiting to see when the lights go back to full charge before I begin the repair mode. This is a $200 US battery so I have high hopes. Battery has a 6 year life warranty .. we shall see!

Hace unos años leí en un foro que a una persona le paso igual y le comentaron que el problema afecta a algunas de las primeras unidades de los tsi 122 y 160 hasta el MY2010, viene de unas cadenas de distribución entregadas por el proveedor con unas tolerancias por debajo de las del diseño, estas se deforman y se estiran unos milímetros dando lugar a roces con los patines y con el tensor.VW detectó el problema y modificó la cadena y el proveedor y de paso rediseño unas cuantas cosas en el sistema de lubricación del motor. Lo que no sé si después de tantos años en los vehículos afectados se les devuelve parte de la factura o no se hacen responsables. Sería cuestión de informarse y papeleo seguro.

No salieron muy buenos estos motores con 80000 ya dan por el culo las cadenas , el compresor de admision tambien y por no hablar de la inyecion directa.. enfin un atraso, suerte con la averia compañero casi seguro que te esta dando fallos de la distri, podriais hacer una comparacion de parametros de arbol de levas y cigueñal, si no coinciden las lecturas podria ser un indicativo de la cadena, suerte

I pretty much accomplished the same results on my non speced PSE 2009 Carrera S! The first mod was to replace the center exhaust with Sharkwerks crossover exhaust. This mod was close to the sound I wanted, but did not quite have the raspy flat 6 sound that I was expecting. I then swapped out my stock mufflers with Fister mufflers and this nailed it.
