    The hanging fan has a light too. That would be awesome for soldering. Blowing the fumes away and helping you see better.

    Just a warning, I believe Dewalts low voltage cut off is in the tool,so if these accessories do not have it built in them you can trash your batteries.

      I was thinking the same thing. Good video idea but you really should pull this until you add a disclaimer at the beginning about using these at your own risk since they are not authorized by dewalt. It should be obvious but you know how people are.

      Just boost the dead battery with a hood battery for a minute and then it will come back. Lots of videos on that on YT. Don’t toss them.

    • @Papaws_Garage
      @Papaws_Garage Год назад +1

      @@normferguson2769 yeah it's on YT, so it must be safe and the right way to do it. If your phone get wet just toss it in the microwave, that's on YT also. If you want to attach your $50+ battery into a $12 tool and then jump start the battery so you can charge it go for it. Believe it or not it's a safety issue not a battery selling gimmick as to why they won't charge

    Make sure you remove the batteries from the inverters as soon as you are done using it. Even the DeWalt USB adapter is constant draw while the battery is on it.

    People are starting to build their own ebikes using Dewalt batteries just like others before them did with the DIY Powerwheels. Ebikes are already outselling electric and hybrid cars. This could actually outsell the power tool market if ebikes move to these batteries. One upside is that you can buy batteries/chargers at any Home Depot, many miles from home or a bike shop.

    Dewalt sells a couple fan options but they are $100. My friend got her Ryobi one for $30. So I went on Amazon and picked up 2 of those fans for half the price of one Dewalt. We use it all the time at my daughters water polo games because it’s notoriously hot here in Texas. I need to look at that hot glue gun.

    Hey 🐻 How are you? First of all I'm pretty new to the channel ( about a month or so) and I have to say I Love It !! I've learned more in the past month about tools then I can tell you ...Thank You for such a awesome channel !!!
    I have a question for you or Any Ryobi cordless guys or gals out there...Does anyone else have issues with there 18 volt ⚡️ battery that run just about all of there tools? 🤔 These damn batteries keep dying on me and then they won't recharge! In 2020 I went out and bought a 5 pack of new Batteries and and got a new charger with one of there many cordless tools they have and I don't use them a whole lot, mostly in the warmer months...I went to charge them earlier this spring and sure enough only ONE out of the Five will recharge !! Im so pissed I believe I'm done with Ryobi all together...I can't imagine what if anything I'm doing wrong on my end honestly...so I have Seven batteries & 3 chargers and only two will charge...one is actually one of the originals that I've had for years 4 or 5 aprox and the other is one of the 5 pack I most recently purchased...im done with them unless maybe someone can tell me im doing something wrong (Again I can't honestly imagine what that would be) but I was wondering if anyone else has problems with the lifespan of there Ryobi batteries?? Any comments or opinions would be greatfuly appreciated, Thanks All...Chris !!
    Bear 🐻 keep up the great work and content in this amazing you have here...Its really great and now I'm turning all my friend onto it so Thank You Again Sir !

    Just so everyone knows... That 'Electronic Load Kit' does NOT include the digital readout/panel/control knob. It's just a 3d-printed box, a pair of wires, the connector lugs, and a pair of metal tabs you have to manually jam into the contacts on the battery each time you change the battery. That's it, that's all there is.

    One useful tool i didn't see was the battery adapter. I used to havee all Ryobi tools and switched to dewalt. The adapter lets me use my dewalt batteries in my old Ryobi tools and not have to worry about charging and maintaining 2 sets of batteries.

    I know Makita has some crazy tools and accessories, but I would love to see a video like this for Makita if there is anything made like this as well. I also wonder if anyone tried making unlicensed products using Ryobi batteries also. I do have the RC truck and that's the only one I can think of right now, but it may be licensed. I'm not sure on that one.

    Watch these knockoff products that use Dewalt batteries. I purchased one from Amazon and it ruined 2 perfectly good batteries. If you do purchase one of these items, remove the battery from it as soon as your done using it. The one I purchased slowly drained the battery when I wasnt using it and it over discharged and the battery wouldn't charge anymore.

      Milwaukee batteries are mechanically almost identical (the locking tab is a little different, but the rails and contacts are in the same place), so I suspect you can do a quick search and find almost-identical products from the same manufacturer for Milwaukee.
