really unique build, might not be for everyone but it looks like it suits their lifestyle and aesthetic. they really feel like those old rugged cowboys out west who live off the land and are perfectly happy just being out in nature.
I have watched this type of video for years usually the people are gushing about how EVERYTHING is renovated fancy sinks faucets Murphy beds lighting yada yada yada……What I like about this build is how it shows a more humble side of life not all have a large budget to start off in a completely renovated TRANSIT van that took a year to get ready this is real life for a whole lot of people they took what they had and make it work not fancy but practical reliable and functional it’s home they look clean happy and well fed. I really enjoyed this video thank you for sharing.
Yes... all his sentences started with "I..." He said he doesn't want to change anything - so where does she put her stuff? Crammed somewhere under the bed? Did he make room and welcome her in, or are her needs an afterthought? She even said the van is his universe. Do they really live together in that van? I don't see an equal relationship/partnership there. She could do better!
@@BlissfulDee and the small interjection she did have about her traveling van life, it was past tense. I'm not gonna crap on anyone's rig, we're all unique individuals. I just didn't see much sustainability in the set up, like at all. Just, strange.

I used to have that same van and it’s sad to see it so altered. Also I don’t expect that guy to be a VW guy. Seems much more like a Chevy/Ford driver. And eating squirrels was a major surprise.
I wouldn't be able to handle that. I am in Indianapolis and trust me - - it would have to be cleaner. I would want to wash the inside down and put Color inside it. Make it pretty. I would have to take it to a car wash and make the outside shine. They are young and there are some things you should always do. Always have a comfortable bed. Always be kind to your physical body. It might hold up now but it will start breaking down. I do feel - - to each their own. It is good that they are happy and happy together. I believe they are very talented.

I never knew people hunted and killed and ate squirrels.I like to see them playing with each other. I think they are adorable and happy creatures. (and I have had them in my attic, eating electrical cords ) So seeing the skins hanging kind of gave me the creeps. But I liked these two. I saw a few comments talking about he is not the brightest star in the sky, but I kind of see it different. I don't think he is book smart, he's not highly educated, but that does not make him stupid. And I think that is what she finds likable about him. He is a basic good American man. A throwback to a different era, maybe. I wish I could buy them a really comfortable mattress and some pieces of safety material for around the wood stove. They should drive over the see Bob Wells and he could guide them in the right direction about safety without being judgemental

This was interesting, but that stove is absolutely unsafe. Needs fireproofing beside/behind it.

Aren’t there any regulations for cars and vans in the US? That van wouldn’t pass any German or European vehicle check.
All states are different regarding emissions and regulations on vehicles
