    Sick vid man, absolutely love my facelift type S galant had it for ~4yrs now and only had to do minor work. They're pretty damn uncommon that's for sure. Power delivery is ridiculous smooth at speed but the auto trans can be pretty sluggish at slow speeds. Only other complaint is the fuel consumption lol!

    • @gutterrashautomotive3361
      @gutterrashautomotive3361  3 года назад +1

      Ah that makes me happy to hear - I'm worried about maintenance/repairs especially with such few detailed guides available in English. Yeah 6 cylinders and two small turbos make the power delivery so nice - that being said I do enjoy the violence of a single big turbo

    • @gutterrashautomotive3361

    Hello there! I had Legnum with tiptronic and now have Galant with manual gerabox. Have to say that VR4 with manual is just different car (much more fun to drive and accelerate better). I took my VR4 (with basic mods) on a track day... and can keep up with Subaru STI and others 300BHP cars no problem...I agree underrated car, not many left in the world because of rust problems ;( .So look after them guys! and remove any sight of rust asap. Regards from Poland !

    • @gutterrashautomotive3361
      @gutterrashautomotive3361  3 года назад

      Yeah manuals are a whole different beast in most cars - I've never driven the tiptronic VR-4s though, I've heard they're better in terms of delivery compared to other normal automatics. Will definitely look after mine! I'm glad you like your VR4 as much as I like mine, keep it safe
      Regards from Australia!

    I bought mine nearly 3 years ago on a whim.
    Saw one for sale and was like wtf is this twin turbo magna looking thing.
    After driving it home I fell in love.
    So underated and extremely manoeuvrable, more nimble than some other two door sports cars from the same time.
    I'm glad to see their prices increase lately as people are slowly starting to learn about them now that they're soon to be imported to the states under the 25 year rule.
    Better late then never.

      I feel the EXACT same way haha, just seeing it in my garage makes me happy. I should drive it more but I haven't had much of a chance because it's not my daily either. It's got Evo 8 Brembos on it I believe, but not entirely sure because the previous owner did all the modifications. I still think even with the Brembos it doesn't brake too well - I guess the Evo's are over a 100kg lighter than our cars so that makes sense. Also my daily is a very light coupe and it brakes extremely well so I'm used to that too
