I highly suggest people dont cheap out on controllers. these things will last you the entire time you do FPV flying and you want something reliable and good. but then cheap out on the drones as they will break more often
If budget is not my concern , what is the best controller should i get ? I’m planing to use it on live streaming , which need hdmi clean out on the google, and probably using o3
My daily is the boxer and I prefer full size gimbals but bought a pocket for a backup and a mini kit, and was surprised how good the gimbals feel. Now I need to figure out how to mod my boxer with a folding antenna like the pocket.
I have the boxer , but I've spent 3 years on the dji v1 trans . The gimbals are slightly closer together on that . Is there a measurement between stick ends on the jumper t20s . Cause I'm considering that and moving the boxer
Would you recommend the Jumper T20 over The Boxer if availability wasnt an issue? My use case is going to be starting with a computer sim and after I feel I have learned enough from that to move on to a 5" Quad to translate from the sim experience. Or if you dont think thats a good idea what would you recommend?

Firstly, your Controller and your Goggles are completely seperate and unrelated in any way shape or form. - If you want a Digital FPV System that has a clean HDMI out for Live-streaming, DJI is not a solution, they dont do that. Walksnail Goggles X will give you the closed DJI experience with HDMI Out - Controller wise, probably Boxer Max from the FPV ones. But if money is no object, get a Futaba, but they are really useless for FPV as they're designed for RC Planes and Heli's not FPV Quads and out systems like Crossfire and ExpressLRS.
@@DarrenAllatt So google is video transmission to send image , controller is radio transmission, to send command, These two are completly different , no string attached ? @@QulStream DJI has the best video quality currently but Walksnail isn't too far behind and has some advantages like more choices of video transmitters for various sizes of quad. This really makes a difference if you're flying smaller quads. If you plan to fly 3.5" and above it doesn't really matter and DJI will do fine there. Also, it's much easier to find DJI bind and fly (prebuilt) quads for sale if you decide not to build your own or want more BNF choices in the future. If a drone comes in a digital format at all, they're pretty much guaranteed to have a DJI version.
@@Invid72 i still confuse about controller and googles, if i wanna live stream and have hdmi out, what is the best system money can buy today ? What is the most worth setup?
@@QulStream As Darren said, the controller has nothing to do with video. They are two separate systems. If you want HDMI out, Walksnail Goggles are your best bet as they have HDMI out according to the product page. You should watch a review of them and make your decision.
I have been looking into buying my first rc plane and I think I’ll get the FMS ranger 1220mm. What controller would go with this plane well and also perhaps future proof for future planes if that is something that needs to be done. The controller should be forever right or at least a long time so if extra money needs to be spent that’s ok. I’m also not sure what receiver to get Also one final thing can I put traxxas battery connectors on the plane? I don’t see y not and the batteries seem to give the same power
Planes tend to need more switches for their various functions so a TX16S Mk 2 might be the best choice for you. It'll handle quads well too due to EdgeTX and has enough switches and sliders for all your plane functions (landing gear, flaps, nav lights, flight modes, etc.). The only real downside is it's a little more expensive than the other choices in the video and it's larger and heavier than all of them too. On the other hand, it has a nice big colour LCD which can be useful for telemetry when flying line of sight instead of FPV.
Tx16s has more switches, which you might need for a plane. Outside of needing more switches, you can fly a plane with the same thing you fly a quad with. Personally I fly my planes using a FrSky x-lite.

It’s not about whether or not, you can fly a 6“ - it’s that they fly very differently to a 5” - think of it like driving, when you’re flying a 5 inch it is more like driving a car while 6 inch is more like a small bus 1 inch may not seem like a lot but it has a very big impact on how it flies. The other element is it’s very hard to get a good flying and locked in 6 inch quad unlike a 5 inch which we have nailed that so much If you want to go with a Nazgûl fine I think the gap Mark five is a better by than the Nazgul
You need to watch out with your mixing. The visual example that you've put in have audio yet you have not mixed them or muted them, they are sometimes above your voice. The usual goal is voice = -3-6 db (I amplify it then put a limiter), background stuff = -15-30 db depending on your needs.

Is the boxer a good radio for rc planes? I'm actually looking into getting a new radio and the new jumper t14 v2 caught my eye I want a radio for both fpv and planes I'm flying with elrs on my quads and spektrum on my planes so I'm either wanting a 4in1 radio with a elrs module is the cheapest route however I don't think that jumper offers a internal 4in1 but rather has the external 4in1 module
Enjoy listening but disagree 100% on some parts. Much better to get a radio with 4 in 1 internal and ELRS external module. The 4 in 1 protocol hardware is basically static. ELRS is constantly moving and sooner or later, probably sooner, the internal ELRS is just going to be legacy hardware. Much cheaper to then buy the latest and greatest ELRS JR bay module than a whole new radio. BTW: Those "toy" protocols as you call them in the 4 in 1 include frsky, futaba, Spektrum....
So buy a radio with an internal module that FPV pilots will never use, and then have to buy an external module + replace it down the line if the hardware changes.

OpenTX IS NOT a variation of EdgeTX. EdgeTX is a FORK of the OpenTX project, born in 2021. Just to be precise.
And the typical pilot who watches this video, doesn’t care about the specific details. They just want to know what it is conceptually
