I'm the type of person that has to fully understand something before I drop a couple grand on it and these videos are loaded with great info - really easy to piece together and make decisions. So far, I've got the Tx16s and Goggles X in my buy list - now the hard part... the drone. Considering beginning on the CineRace20 V2, in hope that it'll take a bit of abuse before I kill it. *edit* And thanks for these videos - highly informative.
The TX16S is right for me, I like the colorful touch screen, I like the shape and size of it, and it's impressive look!😂 The Boxer is the first non-TX16S radio I've even considered switching to since I bought TX16S. I would probably benefit from the powerful ELRS module, and if it fits my hands as well as it fits JB's then that's compelling! But I'd have to get used to the boxy, slightly duller look of it, and the smaller screen. I hope they come out with premium versions of it with color options, like the TX16S! Time will tell, but right now if I upgrade I'll probably go for a TX16S with carbon fiber, and an ELRS internal module! As always, great Review JB, I'm pretty sure you answered all the questions I had about it!
Yeah pretty much the same I just ordered the tx16s jb and right after that the boxer came out and for a moment I was worried I made the Wrong decision and thought about sending it back but I have big hands and I’m a pincher and on top the purple accents and the color screen are just to cool to give up, so definitely gonna choose the tx16s
I think it would have been a win for me if they made a more "premium" version of it. keep the touch screen, improve the ergonomics of the tx16s. Or really if they just made the Tx16s shorter and kept everything else the same I'd be really happy. maybe get rid of the toggles on the top for push buttons like this and I would buy one immediately
The comfort of the traditional form factor in slightly reduced size that makes the Boxer appealing is exactly why I chose the Frsky X9 Lite Pro a couple years ago; it has the hall sensor gimbals, good quality switches & controls, and the screen, while not great, is good enough. But the size/shape/ergos are perfect for me, and all the rest I can modify to suit my needs. Currently I'm using the Happymodel ES24TX Slim ExpressLRS module (the one with the Iron Man' design), and it works like a champ! I've also got a 4-in-1 module that I was going to mount internally, with an additional mini toggle to switch between it and the ELRS module in the bay. But almost everything I run uses ELRS now, plus I've recently installed the Deviation OS into a Walkera Devo-10 which will let me fly all those obscure BNF models that the 4-in-1 is for, and it's a decent radio. I don't mind having a second one for those, since I only ever run those oddball little craft (and cars) at home, so only taking the X9 Lite with me when heading out to the field. Still, the Boxer is nice, and if I didn't already have my ideal radio, I'd definitely be looking hard at it! Great review, Bardwell, as always, I'm humbled by your knowledge, your channel is THE source for info!
Honestly, Joshua... I think I'm in love with this radio! 😂 I still rock the X9D, but I've been looking for a replacement for a while... I was between the Zorro and the TX16S. But this one is perfect! Anyway, fantastic review as always!!! Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I still not sure if it's even a upgrade to replace x9d. But then again I'm a helicopter and planes flyer. x9d is still a great radio. I think it would be a downgrade. Upgrade would be x9d to Radio Master tx16s. I own Taranis but love better tx16s due to color screen. It's also touch screen. Taranis still a great radio. Still have lot of switches, slider. And it is louder. That is a big boo for tx16s. Another thing I couldn't sync sound to boot screen. What I mean is I couldn't delay the boot screen. It boot's up fairly fast to the ui and with Taranis there was a delay feature that is adjustible. But this new radio looks great. I bet feels lot better then Tx16s. Tx16s I got use to it but it's huge. I have to reach farther then Taranis or Futaba 14sg. But this is good fairly good can do so much then many spektrum or most when it comes to programing and modification.
Another thing is wish they added slider. I hope for the future I hope Radio Master don't get rid of like the setup of Tx16s. Sliders, rotary nobs, shape because there is still lot of plane and helicopter flyer's.
@@rcrotorfreak Oh, no doubt about that. But I travel a lot and the smaller size seems great! I was seriously thinking about getting the Zorro, but the battery issue... You know? And I wouldn't burn the X9D or something... 😬 I would still have it if I ever needed. 😊
Let me give you a run down from a drone pilot... So i upgraded from using the x9d with m9s for 5 years (since 2017) to the tx16s Let me start by saying the gimbals are a whole heck of a lot better. I didn't expect this to be the case since I bought the m9s and the gimbals I use are the v1s of this gimbal, but they feel so much more smooth and the throw is more. The ergonomics made me love this radio. Even though its just a box, the way they put the sliders compared to the x9d (I hated the sliders on that thing cause my fingers would go on top of them and feel super awkward) was amazing. my fingers split to the sides so i dont feel it at all (I pinch/hybrid grip) The battery life is crzy using the 5000mah LIion from RM, and considering this has a 6200mah and is a b&w screen should be so much better. so basically I didnt expect it to be this good, but it is -Better gimbals -Better ergonomics I'm thinking of getting the boxer since I don't need the color screen (and frankly i never wanted it) but I use the top left shoulder switch for arming so I would have to get used to having it moved I also only have a mark I tx16s so having an internal elrs module would be very nice
I recently got a TX12 and I am really liking it. I've flown fixed wing for years with a full size Futaba. I started with FPV miniwhoops using a jumper t-lite. The tx12 is right in the middle like this one your reviewing. I have yet to fly it with a real quad as it's winter here and I don't have any elrs whoops. But I'm going to be using it with my bigger quads once it warms up. Judging by how I like it in sims, I think it's going to be my daily.
I was on the fence about the Zorro because of the battery setup. I really like the form factor of this radio. This seems to be perfect for my quads. ELRS, here I come 😁
Just replaced my old trusty, crossfire modded Qx7. I had M7 and M7-R gimbals there, silicon skin, metal stand, custom stick ends, tracer module. Ordered the ELRS Boxer, instantly fell in love with it the moment I held it. That controller has so much going on for it. Yes! the form factor is so much more comfortable compared to ANY other radio I have held. The gimbals feel smooth, the switches feel clicky, The battery lasts such a long time. EdgeTX lets you customize the start/stop delay where you have to hold the button forever, which I hate on OpenTX. All in all, the Boxer makes me enjoy flying a lot more.
I got the Jumper T-lite as my first radio and I think I'll switch to this once I have the money to spare. Definitely feels like a decent compromise between an old-school and a gamepad-style radio while also delivering some welcome new features. 1000mW ELRS internally is just too good to be true.
Me too. I have the Jumper t-lite, mainly because it's shaped like a game controller which I'm familiar with and it was cheap. I had correctly gathered that flying an fpv drone is pretty difficult and I wanted to make sure I was actually capable of flying a drone before I spent £1000 on equipment. I've played with Velocidrone for about 25 hours and It seems that I am probably likely to be able to control a real drone so it's time to start thinking about what I'll buy for real drone use. The Boxer looks spot on.
I’m sticking with the tx12, everything is in reach and there are plenty of awesome upgrades that still are cheaper than the bigger radios. Ago1 minis, crossfire, and the grips make it everything I could need and more.
Different USB ports for Sim and charging is a great thing. Lipo lifespan reduces drastical when charged to 100% for a long time. Playing on a sim would lead to that when it is the same port for charging. The boxer can charge the lipo to 90% and then play on the sim and simply turn off the TX afterwards without the need for storage charging it afterwards or seeing the max capacity shrink down the weeks afterwards.
Tx16s: best interface for programming and aircraft management. Jumper T-pro: best flight ergonmics for me. Seems like the menu navigation of the Boxer is similar to that of the T-pro. I have both and I generally use the TX16s for larger builds and T-pro for whoops. Great time to be an FPV pilot.
I really love my Zorro and I am very happy with it. However, if I should select one new radio this Boxer would be the best candidate. It looks amazing! Cheers guys
I waiting for couple of mounths to upgrade my radio and finally Joshua you give me a great news ... it is small it is compact good battery all i need 🙂 thanks Joshua for the review 😉 Good to think ... if i buy elrs version ... i will save money i want to need external elrs and i have the 1 Watt bonus 😉 people will they buy the Ranger ELRS anymore? If they give a really good radio +1 watt internal
Still rocking my QX7. Battery mod incl. charging port. 400kbaud mod for ELRS. It does it all at a great size. But I've got to say if my QX7 failed I'd replace it with the Boxer.
I'll probably be getting this. I wish they had a "premium" version like the tx16s max with different faceplates, grips and ag01 gimbals. But it will come eventually because this product will be popular.
That moment when you thought you had a radio picked out after weeks of research, then they release another🤦🏻♂️. Think I’m gonna go with the Tx16s Max anyways. Joshua Bardwell style baby. 🤘🏻
I bought a TX16S JB Edition and I literally love it (it is gorgeous)... but as my daily driver I tend to use a Jumper T-Lite ELRS, simply because I won't cry if I by any chance it gets lost, stolen or destroyed.
Can you do a quick side by side (size) comparison of the Boxer radio and the TX12? After more consideration. I think I like the boxer better than the TX12 only because of the potentiometers. I'm thinking the left shoulder switch @ 8:00 would make a good "Air Mode" switch. That strap on the back.????? For real?!
I just haven't had great experience with ELRS. You make it sound like it's so great and reliable and it always makes me feel sad like I've missed out on something. 1watt 50hz and I'm failsafing on the regular on multiple quads and way before vtx range runs out....
That really shouldn't be happening. I suggest jumping on the ELRS discord server and see if they can figure out what's wrong with your hardware or your configuration.
@@JoshuaBardwell Yah i’ve been on discord with them and even directly with a developer for months. I’m flying a lot commercially indoors and around manufacturing sites so something just isn’t translating with 2.4 in that scenario…
@@JThemelis I hear that! I have a Mambo, Tango 2, Nirvana and Dji "brick" v1 radio and a Taranis X9D still needing to go as well lol. It's crazy.. They all are missing like 1 or 2 things to bring them to the usefulness that this Boxer radio seems to be. I've been rocking the Tx12 v2 for a bit, really liking it.. But I really wanted a Mambo form factor, but one that would run on EdgeTX and have gimbals that could run the latest and greatest Elrs. I think a lot of people will probably be selling off their radios right about now too lol.
Radiomaster is defo the most innovative RC radio company out here, their radios are really great My dream radio is something that has the innovations of Radiomaster, and design of FrSky (I’m talking about the Horus line, especially X12S, I only want to buy that radio because of its design)
Most of your comments regarding ergonomics and switchology also apply to the TX12 MkII. What's the antenna you have on the Boxer? Is that an upgrade to the little stick types that come on many other radios, including the TX12. I'm asking because I wonder if I'll want to upgrade the one on my TX12.
Seems like a QX7 competitor/spiritual successor. I really like how the QX7 feels in hand so if they make an upgraded boxer with the TX16S screen I'd be all over it.
I always thought, "hm, this would be perfect if it was just a little smaller" with my QX7. Then I got the TX16S and thought, "hm, this would be perfect if it was just a little shorter."
I learned something today: Gimbel's was a department store that had a rivalry with Macy's, and started the oldest Thanksgiving day parade in America. Oh yeah, and I will own this radio.
Fun fact: was looking for a smaller radio than the TX16S. Wanted the Zorro as a second driver for months. Saved up and bought the luminier edition. The moment I hit purchase, I went on RUclips and saw the Boxer was out. Damn it.
The boxer is the radio that TBS refused to make. My mambo money is now boxer money. I'll be getting the 4in1 version and plugging crossfire into the bay. Happy days.
Looks nice. Already have 2.... well 1.8 Mambos and a RMtx16s(broke a gimbal before replacements were available so I use it for parts) so there that is. Besides I have yet to get anything with ExLRS also
Is it possible to fit somehow a real switch instead that shoulder buttons? I use my old Jumper T12 Pro and I love that switches. I use the left one as my arm switch and the right as a turtle mode. This Boxer looks nice, but I can't use a radio without those switches.
I think the Boxer would make an excellent first radio, for me at least. Yes, I use your links, it's the least I could do. Never let it be said I don't do the least I could do.
Charger and data over the same port is a function of circut design which is directly related to cost in other words if you could charge more and get the higher price it would be there...
i just bought a tbs mambo ethix months ago and now im contemplating on selling or trading cause i dont even want to dive into the tracer life. been waiting for something like this
I have a Zorro that I put a lot of money and love into, and... I'm almost swayed. The 1W output power is really compelling for someone like I who wants to switch to EP2 receivers for all quads except those purpose-built for long range.
That's the only thing I don't like about the speed of development in the FPV world, it seems like every time I buy something a cooler thing gets released right afterward. I got a Jumper T16 to replace my Turnigy 9X right before the TX16S came out
@@grandpa_stanley7813 I thought about that too, but then you’d need to add an external battery pack or else you’ll only get about 30-50mins of flight time
True. Thinking of getting an extra 2s battery to strap on the bottom of the radio for that reason. That’s my only issue of the Zorro besides those weird wheel switches on the back
Hello Joshu, Thank you for making my Fpv life easier. I have a question about charging. I have the 6200mAh battery in the boxer, can I charge it by Usbc . I have a Lipo charger too but can i use a Huwai 66w cellphone charger for charging the boxer?
11:19 it looks like I can't just put 18650s in there. I need to have them with this wrap and wire in order to use my batteries in there? I already own 18650 batteries
Hi! Can I have your advice on buying a transmitter? I and my 10 years old son are new in the hobby and for now we build and fly indoor slow flyers using an old DX4E Spektrum. I want to upgrade by buying a new transmitter that will bind indoor homebuild flyers (prob DSMX) but also begin flying bigger planes outdoors. Investing in buying a Spektrum or going for a Radiomaster? I read many positive things about Radiomaster TX16s and found a lot of tutorials in RUclips. My main concern is its dimensions and weight, specially if it will be used by a 10 years old kid. So I've started reading about the boxer. Not having that great colour screen will be an issue but having to hold something lighter is maybe more crucial. What is your opinion? Thank you in advance!
Okay JB here is the question, for my first Radiomaster radio which should it be? I am not going to worry about the money (very unusual for me) as it will be my 70 birthday birthday present to myself. I have already decided that the TX16s Mk2 is doable but now you tell me it might not be the king of the Radiomaster hill? Please advise here.
I'll still take the TX16S with an external module for a daily drone flyer (and the X20 for fixed wing) but can see how this could be very appealing to a LOT of ppl.
Why x20 for fixed wing vs Tx16s? I ask because I'm a fixed wing flyer and helicopter flyer. Tx16s is great all around. I myself would chose tx16s vs this radio. I Just hope Radio Master don't get rid of radio like Tx16s because they been focusing to much on drone pilot. Like for example this doesn't have slider, have those push button on top right and left.
@@rcrotorfreak In my humble opinion, x20 is another level of radio, just test the sliders and you will see they (x20 x tx16s) don't play in the same league. In more detail: the screen has higher resolution and brightness, the switches are of better quality, the processor is much stronger and the constructive quality in general is also superior.
Curious as to your thoughts on the Spektrum NX series of transmitters, 'cause I was just given a RC plane (glider) and NX10 transmitter (an older man recently died and his wife gave me his RC stuff) and all in really nice condition.
As someone who’s played too much Velocidrone I’ve got hundreds of hours clocked, I quite like the fact I wasn’t charging the battery for all that time. Boxer looks amazing, struggling not to pull the trigger on one.
The option for 1W internal ExpressLRS power output makes this radio a game changer. No need to spend more money for a external module to increase power
I'm a viewer... and I am going to spend some money today. :). Thanks for this review, I almost pulled a trigger on a different radio. Full size radios too big, game style a bit too small. This seems right in the middle. My wife does not understand why I have so many radios. LOL. I need to start dumping radios on Ebay before she poisons me, pray for me pilots Im about to buy another phreaking radio.
I was thinking to replace flysky fs i6x to something and tho Boxer looks to be perfect match with 4in module. TX16S looks great but could be little heavy and to big. Maybe i will give a chance to bixer. JR modules are great to have, i can buy ELRS in future if needed... hmmm
Hey Joshua I been trying to get into fpv and this radio might just get me in faster then expected due to that is ELRS ready and that’s what I’m aiming for. Just wish they would of ditch the games and instead made it more modern with the screen but I think they are leaving room to upgrade on the next one. Thanks for sharing and explaining. I’ll check your links on where to buy. Thanks 👍
There are reasons for the screen not being the same as the TX16S, I’m sure - real estate probably chief among them, but cost and availability likely factor in. I don’t claim to speak for everyone, but I bet many others that have also owned both styles would agree with my opinion that it’s just really not that big of a deal either way. Not having a screen at all seems annoying, but otherwise, it matters for like the first 10 minutes you’re setting up your models then never again. When you’re flying, you shouldn’t be spending a lot time looking at the screen anyway. How it feels in your hands is just infinitely more important. Internal vs external ELRS is a trivial difference in terms of difficulty as well. It really only matters if you have a specific use-case requiring high power output (i.e. true long range flying) and/or are planning to use multiple RC link protocols. TLDR- this radio is right for you if it feels good in your hands. But it’s not going to get you into the hobby any faster or slower than any other modern, ELRS-capable system. Get it if you like it and it feels right, but don’t fall into the trap of thinking that all the shiny bells and whistles and flashy lights mean anything at all. You use a radio with your hands. The tactile experience is everything, and the perfect feel *for you* is unique to you.
@@abertheham I agree. The color touch screen is nice but the only time I ever really use it after setup is to see how many satellites my quad has acquired before putting on the goggles or to see the last gps position after a crash, and that works just fine on a black and white screen too.
left press switch could be for throttle cut, right momentary switch could be for panic button... im a brand new noob, havent bought a plane yet. i wanted to start with an end all transmitter then get planes.
Can you pls make a video what drone flying control protocol (and what is the essence of digital vs analog- I understand it is about the camera and not the control of the drone) to go with and how to interpret spec data in that regard when buying a drone from flywoo and other online stores for noooobs. Thank you
Looks great, but sticking with my Mambo despite it’s quality challenges. One of the big wins with Mambo is that you don’t need an antenna. Small radio, big sticky out antenna.

Second I sway this radio I knew it was for me, perfect size for me and similar to my older radio. I think I'm going to buy one!
Honestly, Joshua... I think I'm in love with this radio! 😂
I still rock the X9D, but I've been looking for a replacement for a while...
I would still have it if I ever needed. 😊
Let me give you a run down from a drone pilot...
So i upgraded from using the x9d with m9s for 5 years (since 2017) to the tx16s
Let me start by saying the gimbals are a whole heck of a lot better. I didn't expect this to be the case since I bought the m9s and the gimbals I use are the v1s of this gimbal, but they feel so much more smooth and the throw is more.
The ergonomics made me love this radio. Even though its just a box, the way they put the sliders compared to the x9d (I hated the sliders on that thing cause my fingers would go on top of them and feel super awkward) was amazing. my fingers split to the sides so i dont feel it at all (I pinch/hybrid grip) The battery life is crzy using the 5000mah LIion from RM, and considering this has a 6200mah and is a b&w screen should be so much better.
so basically I didnt expect it to be this good, but it is
-Better gimbals
-Better ergonomics
I'm thinking of getting the boxer since I don't need the color screen (and frankly i never wanted it) but I use the top left shoulder switch for arming so I would have to get used to having it moved
I also only have a mark I tx16s so having an internal elrs module would be very nice
@@kylechang8610 Very good points. Thanks for sharing your experience! 🖖😊
I bought some grip tape for the TX12, and it is amazing now.
I was on the fence about the Zorro because of the battery setup. I really like the form factor of this radio. This seems to be perfect for my quads. ELRS, here I come 😁
Ya I end up charging my zorro after every other time out flying
Thanks for the great review Joshua!🚀
Funny. I just came across this review after ordering the Boxer yesterday. Confirmation that I made the right choice.
I’m sticking with the tx12, everything is in reach and there are plenty of awesome upgrades that still are cheaper than the bigger radios. Ago1 minis, crossfire, and the grips make it everything I could need and more.
could you tell me some of those awesome upgrades? i was thinking i wanted this...
where do they sell upgrades for the tx12?
Love mine too! Bought some grip tape, and works great.
Cheers guys
Was wondering when your review was gonna drop JB as we’d seen everyone else’s by now but wanted to hear it from the know it all himself for sure 👌 👍
But I've got to say if my QX7 failed I'd replace it with the Boxer.
today my QX7 broke and I bought the boxer :D
🤣🤣 the scene with the mambo. Been wanting one for so long but then this radio came out. Instant win for me. 1W ELRS internal
I need this thing. I was about to order the Ranger for my Mambo when I saw this. That radio ist just what I need!
God bless your lovely hands Josh, I look forward to wrapping my wonderful hands on a boxer, just ordered one.
I'll probably be getting this. I wish they had a "premium" version like the tx16s max with different faceplates, grips and ag01 gimbals. But it will come eventually because this product will be popular.
Having a jumper t12 pro for several years now, this radio is very appealing to me. Probably my next upgrade.
Watching now, hope you compared it side by side with the mambo....cant wait to see
Awesome review 🙂 That Boxer should have had a color screen 🙂
That screen looks just like the one on my Teranis Qx7, which has worked fine for me for the past few years. This looks like something I might buy.
I have your version of the tx16s and I think it will be perfect for quite some time 😎
That moment when you thought you had a radio picked out after weeks of research, then they release another🤦🏻♂️. Think I’m gonna go with the Tx16s Max anyways. Joshua Bardwell style baby. 🤘🏻
I’m gonna own this radio, no hesitation!
I bought a TX16S JB Edition and I literally love it (it is gorgeous)... but as my daily driver I tend to use a Jumper T-Lite ELRS, simply because I won't cry if I by any chance it gets lost, stolen or destroyed.
As a Mambo user all I can say is that Trappy will love this radio. Lol
I still have two T12 Pros for exactly the same reasons! I love the compact fit! I have a T18 Pro that is a great radio, but it is a big sucker!
Bardwell side eying the Mambo saying “we’re just going to set this over in the corner” was funny😂😂😂
Seriously… said the same.. although, i was considering offloading my tx16s instead 🤷🏻♂️
Radiomaster is defo the most innovative RC radio company out here, their radios are really great
My dream radio is something that has the innovations of Radiomaster, and design of FrSky (I’m talking about the Horus line, especially X12S, I only want to buy that radio because of its design)
I already have the Zorro. Like this one. May be my next one!
Jogfff
I’ve had the opportunity to hold a qx7 and it just felt like a hollow kids toy.
@@Dcscockpit it lasts longer that a tx16s which is garbo
So is it smaller than the qx7 or feels the same
I learned something today: Gimbel's was a department store that had a rivalry with Macy's, and started the oldest Thanksgiving day parade in America. Oh yeah, and I will own this radio.
♥️ Radiomaster Boxer Max ❤
Just got mine today. Probably the BEST RC deal I've ever seen. LOVE IT!
Thanks for the really good review
What a great review thank u. This radio looks really cool.
Fun fact: was looking for a smaller radio than the TX16S. Wanted the Zorro as a second driver for months. Saved up and bought the luminier edition. The moment I hit purchase, I went on RUclips and saw the Boxer was out. Damn it.
Daaamn 😂
Man I got my zorro a few months ago. I’m eventually gonna have to add this to my collection to use. Tx16s max and zorro so fsr
Just watched mad techs review on this as well! This radio sure sounds like a win and is a great price!! Now to watch the getting started with express
Looks great like the the smaller form factor but... I'll be staying with my tx16s it's just got more going on.
I think the Boxer would make an excellent first radio, for me at least. Yes, I use your links, it's the least I could do. Never let it be said I don't do the least I could do.
Hey, got me to buy it. Good job Radiomaster 😁.
Charger and data over the same port is a function of circut design which is directly related to cost in other words if you could charge more and get the higher price it would be there...
Bought with elrs built-in and 4 in one external module using you link. Thx.
I was literally thinking ..i you mean like the tbs mambo, then you put ot down 🤣🤣🤣
Excellent roast with the TBS bit 🔥 But no comparison with the Mambo?
Nice review, looks tempting
Oh man! Do I pull the punch and get the Boxer? Love my TS16S....with hall effect gimbals....
i just bought a tbs mambo ethix months ago and now im contemplating on selling or trading cause i dont even want to dive into the tracer life. been waiting for something like this
I have a Zorro that I put a lot of money and love into, and...
I got a Jumper T16 to replace my Turnigy 9X right before the TX16S came out
Can’t you just get a nano external TX module to solve that problem? That’s what I’m doing
@@grandpa_stanley7813 I thought about that too, but then you’d need to add an external battery pack or else you’ll only get about 30-50mins of flight time
True. Thinking of getting an extra 2s battery to strap on the bottom of the radio for that reason. That’s my only issue of the Zorro besides those weird wheel switches on the back
I’m using a 2s battery Velcro’ed to the back. Super easy and a looooong use.
Hello Joshu,
Thank you for making my Fpv life easier.
FrSky X20 is a work of art, best constructive quality among the countless radios I've tried and the operation is rock solid. You are very well served.
Curious as to your thoughts on the Spektrum NX series of transmitters, 'cause I was just given a RC plane (glider) and NX10 transmitter (an older man recently died and his wife gave me his RC stuff) and all in really nice condition.
thanks for review JB 👍 look like qx7
I'd just bought a T-lite to learn about Express LRS and EdgeTX. Now I know what's my next radio will be.
What about tx12?
The monocolor radio has some advantages if you're using it outdoors, far easier to see
I love my tx16s and was thinking about something smaller but the boxer doesn't fit the bill. Looks like a great radio to buy though.
You know the radio protocolo of the Arrows Pioneer?... Thanks.
Wish radiomaster would release a swappable internal ELRS module so I can replace it with the 4in1 in my older TX16s
They just did! But I can't find where it's for sale...
@@JoshuaBardwell 😯😯😁 I’ll definitely keep my eyes open for it then 👍🏽👍🏽
@@JoshuaBardwell Pyrodrone has the internal ELRS module! It says compatible with Mark2. Any idea if you can still put it in pre mark 2 TX16S?
left press switch could be for throttle cut, right momentary switch could be for panic button...
im a brand new noob, havent bought a plane yet. i wanted to start with an end all transmitter then get planes.
9:48 funny thing is that my TX12's USB port is both data and power, I didn't know that was an exception for radiomaster controllers lol
Internally seems to be a ufl connector, will convert my boxer to internal once it arrive.
As a thumber,, I'm in love with my x-lite.
Just got the Boxer Crush and am excited to fly the cnc AG01 gimbals for cinematic. Working on binding it now-
Working to flash the radio with my bind phrase in ELRS Configurator-- it doesn't show Boxer in Radiomaster Devices, only TX16S 2400 and Zorro. Can I use the TX16S 2400 instead?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Alright I'm in. Let's see how long this back order takes to fill.
Hmmmm...I wonder if my parts off the TBS Mambo Mr Steele edition will work on the Boxer?? 🤣
Are the hall effect gimbals of the Taranis better then Radiomaster standart?
Personally I think the radiomaster are better.
you make some good content. thanks for the info man...
Great info but wondering if I can put my crossfire module into it
Yes, absolutely.
