fact: Christopher was the guitarist in the 1993 entry, *This time* while Moira was the backing singer during that time, 5 years later, they would back up the girl group Times Three, being Moira's sister, Diane as one of the members for their song *Believe n'peace*
Very nice song 🎵
Una gran melodía,de las mejores de Malta en el festival,un juego de voces armónico, muy buena¡

RIP Chris :(
Is it just me or I think that fifth place for this song was completely overrated? There were amazing pieces of music from Norway, Russia, the United Kingdom, Cyprus and Iceland that deserved much more than this!
Tastes are different, and thank you from Norway, but personally I think that this is a top 3 song! 💗

Out of interest, which entries did and did not use backing track elements in 1994?
Just Cyprus, UK, Germany, Slovakia, Greece, Austria and Spain used the combination backing tracks + live the orchestra this year. The rest of the countries were completely live. Ireland didn't use the orchestra, but Charlie and Paul played the piano and guitar live on stage (so 100 % live as well) :)
escLIVEmusic1 Thanks for this information. I wouldn’t have thought France would have been 100% live, given all the instruments on stage. Also, I am surprised the UK felt the need to use a backing track, as that drumbeat and base line could have easily been played by the orchestra. Correct me if I am wrong, but was 1992 the last time the UK had a 100% live song?
@@JeSuisRene Yes correct.
Ireland, UK and Malta were able to send shitty entries for many years and still get a decent position, because most of the jurors appreciated English language and understood the meaning of the lyrics. No matter how bad the melody was.
This was definitely the worst of the English language entries that year, followed very closely by Ireland. A shame as the United Kingdom had a decent song but was underrated. However my favourites this year are from Poland and Germany.
UK entry was a great song this year 1994 , 1997 and especially 1998 .....far from shitty !!!!!
very underwhelming song and perfomances
