I remember seeing this video on MTV Headbanger's ball back in the 1980's i can't remember when it was but I like this group and I still have all of their CD's me and my wife listen to them when get a chance okay letting y'all know okay goodnight
My first job was about 40 minutes away.I had just bought this album and my first car (74) Grand Prix 400.I cruised to this tape ALL SUMMER long, back n forth to work and in between.Good times indeed.
I freaking love stories like this... you never hear stuff like this. America lost it's edge. It's independence. Now we're just softened up and totally distracted with the internet. Sad.
@@SevenFootPelican Now we can all contribute to the re-rise of traditional values and stories like Sir Hernandez told by looking less at our phones, looking at what's going on in the outside world and spreading a down-to-earth mentallity. rock on!
You haven't LIVED until you had a few 8 tracks and a Craig Powerplay .... AND THEN ,.... they've all ate themselves and you tossed them out the wibdow. THEN 5 weeks later a buddy shows you how to splice one back together. !! hahahh I found my Kiss Live on the side of the road, spliced it, it made another 3 yeares
Simply one of the best in their genre. It's really unfortunate that they will be remembered historically for the nightclub fire nightmare. God bless Jack and the boys!
Hey brothers and sisters of all ages !! Still rocking in 2018!! Today’s music and bands only last for about a year, maybe two if they can come up with a good follow up song !! The 60’s, 70’s,80’s !!! Hands down, or up!! Now that was and still is awesome music!!!
these guys made some great music. mark kendall is one of the most overlooked guitarist from the era. he always had an outstanding tone and some fiery solos. and can't forget that they had some fine looking ladies in their videos.
I remember coming back from the first Gulf war starved for new music & this was one of the first ones I heard, this may be the first time I've heard it since then,it's been awhile,it still sounds good.
First time we heard this was going into Fargo, North Dakota at 2am on the way home to Texas from the military. 28 hours later, we were pulling into the driveway! What better way to travel!
Probably THE most underrated 80's hair band EVER! Saw them at Freedom Hill Sterling Hts MI (Harleyfest) back in the early 2000's. Right up by the stage and soaked in the rain but didnt give a DAMN! Loved every minute. So bummed Kendall and Russell had to part ways.
I love Great White!!! His voice gives me goose bumps!! I hope they're still touring, I'd love it if they had a new album. This song would get anyone in a good mood.
Great White's guitarist was one of the very few who sometimes used a Fender Tele-awesome and definitely against the grain. Another great guitarist who isnt guilty of too much whammy abuse!
This is one of the last Rock cds I bought before Nirvana, Grunge and Hip Hop took over. It was $13.00 and as far as I can remember this was the only good song.
this what you called feel good rock n roll back in the earlly 90s the 2 solos still sound as good as they did back then i would always tell who every was watching with me that that was bad ass guitar playing i know they had to have gotten tierd of me saying it

Whatever happened with songs like this? Bands just dont rock like this anymore and its sad.The world needs more feelgood/party songs nowdays to celebrate life.
+rock dog Well said. They don't want you to celebrate life, they want you in the ground as fast as possible so they don't need to pay out your Social Security or 401k. Watching TV these days is like sitting in an Emergency Room with a Doctor yelling in my face and standing right next to him is the Coroner. I miss the 80'z and early 90'z Metal, I really miss the way we all felt everyday; happy and carefree.
The Station nightclub fire was the fourth deadliest nightclub fire in U.S. history. The fire began at 11:07 PM EST, on Thursday, February 20, 2003, at The Station, a glam metal and rock and roll themed nightclub located at 211 Cowesett Avenue in West Warwick, RI. The fire was caused by pyrotechnics set off by GW's tour manager., ignited flammable sound insulation foam on walls&ceiling surrounding the stage. A fast-moving fire burned the club in 5½ min 100 dead,230 ppl injured&132 uninjured.
@benwha You're so right!! Great band, and always will be. Love them!!!!!! I felt so bad for them, it wasn't their fault, it was a terrible tragedy that's for sure, but as you said, "an accident!!"
I had the Great white concert T shirt with the shark playing the guitar on it and i took it to an artist friend of mine for him to enlarge it and paint it on canvas for me. One day he came home from work and all her stuff was gone. Was the same day the title came in the mail for the car he had bought and put in her name . She also took My great white T shirt off the wall next to the easel where he was painting the picture. BITCH ! Never trust anything that bleeds for 5 days and DOES NOT DIE !
Over 30 years old and still sounds great!

Great White
Well, there's somethin' goin' down
Right here in the neighborhood
Yeah, somethin's goin' down now
Don't know if you really should
Don't you lose your head
And I'll make your heart feel good
Well, there's trouble all around
Trouble with the PTA
Tell me what you gonna do?
It's tryin' to take my highs away
It's enough to turn you 'round
But, Momma, not today
So c'mon, little baby
Let's call it rock 'n' roll
C'mon, little baby
Let's call it rock 'n' roll
Gonna get a good feelin'
Right down to your soul, yeah
Now your Papa's gettin' down
Momma sayin' you're no good
Oh but, baby, it's a shame
You know you never really understood
How a dose of rock 'n' roll
Can make your heart feel good
So c'mon, little baby
Let's call it rock 'n' roll
C'mon, little baby
Let's call it rock 'n' roll
Gonna get a good feelin'
Right down to your soul
So c'mon, little baby
Let's call it rock 'n' roll
C'mon, little baby
Let's call it rock 'n' roll
Gonna get a good feelin'
Right down to the soul
I say, yeah, yeah, call it rock 'n' roll
I say, yeah, yeah, call it rock 'n' roll
Gonna get a good feelin'
Right down to the soul
Gonna get a good feelin'
Right down to the soul, yeah
