What a sweet button in the back of mahogany sweater! 🙂
Thank you, I had to use it somewhere 😁
I have to say, I always enjoy it when you share your cowl/neck warmer patterns. Easy, simple and always a great way to use up the bits and pieces. Thank-you Tina.

Love your podcast so pleased to have found you thank you
Oh bless you we have all put weight on and with a passion for crafting I have to keep telling myself to get out of the chair lol, have starting walking as soon as I get up in the morning let’s see how long it lasts!! New to your channel but living the content, I am a crocheter with dreams of being a knitter xx
Hi, welcome to the channel. Apparently walking in the morning is really good for you mentally as well as physically, so well done you . I think crochet is harder than knitting so I'm sure you will pick it up once you get going . I love the rhythm of crochet but haven't progressed further than blankets 😁
Love ,love ur sense of humour,,Tina!!!

Hi Tina. You do make me laugh.😂Thanks so much for sharing cowl/neck warmer pattern & showing how to keep yarn in different hands etc. Love the pattern & you make the colour work look so easy, so I’m definitely going to have a bash at this later though I’ll probably end up with a tangled mess. 😅. Will be great to wear indoors too & stay snuggly. Have a lovely weekend
I have had my share of yarn rats nests in my time that's why I try to be more organised 😁 Thanks for watching, happy knitting x
Going to give colourwork a try now. Looks like I can do it! Thanks for the instructions and the lovely cowl pattern.

Aha! *Another* use for all the bits & bobs!! Thanks for sharing, and you’re too funny!
I too like a Neck Warmer, especially if there’s a brisk wind…
Wrapped long/er cowls are best for me if they snug up!
Re “sweater shrinkage”… it’s the WATER or washing, not us! My jeans are doing the same thing?!?!?! Cuz wine & cakes are NOT the problem 😂😂
Wine and cake are never the problem 😘🤣
When you pulled the neck warmer up over your face, my first thought wasn’t “bank robber” - it was Wilfred from the Bash St Kids!
🤣 😂 excellent , thanks for watching x
Hi Tina ,I love the cowl its gorgeous xxx

Hi Tina ❤️😁 ...... I'm so glad you're back !! ...... Is that bind off called "Jenny's stretchy bind off?"..... In not sure🤔..... I have another question for you .... When you're on your bind off row and you knit the two stitches together did you then purl two together ? I'm only asking because it looked to me, that you knit two together and then purled two together but you referred to the purl stitches as " knitting" them. Have I confused you now too! Lol 🤔☺️ xx
Yes you have confused me 🤣 it been a long day at work my brain has switched off for the day 😁
that is perfect thank you Patty
Thank you so much. Have a great day x
Tina, you say your pattern is 1st then 3sts then 5sts and then back the other way. Yet your demo shows you knitting 4sts !!!!
I wonder why, when you cast off in rib, you didn’t purl 2 together in the purl part 🤔. A nice cowl though 😊
Hi Hazel, yes the 1, 3, 5 is the contrast colour. The main colour is 4 and 2 . Thanks for watching 😁
@@Simplyinstitches oh ok. Sorry for not understanding. 🌺
@@hazeldonner1855 no I'm sorry for not making it clear in the video 😁
Great cowl and a lovely jumper. Definitely block and keep eating cake and drinking wine. 😊 I've used that cast off but I cast the purl stitches off purlwise on the purl stitches as that's what I thought you were meant to do. I'll try your way next time. How do you film from above? Do you have a special tripod? X
You may be right , I don't know how accurate my source was 😏 I use a my phone to record and have like an arm that clamps to the table for overhead shots. Sorry I don't know what it's called but I bought it on Amazon. It couldn't have been very expensive if I bought it 🤣
@@Simplyinstitches Lol. I think I bought something like that a while ago trouble is I've put it somewhere safe 🤔
I love your videos - thank you. However, I don't love all the fuss trying to send you £5 to say it!!! I'll have to wait until my son comes home from school!
Thank you , sorry it's complicated. I miss having a teenager in the house , they are amazing 😁
@@Simplyinstitches I managed it all by myself, I think so anyway! Not so with the lovely cast on because a) I can't count and b) had a very helpful cat on my lap biting the wool, who just wouldn't leave me alone.
Have you thought of writing a book with all your cowl patterns in it?
