@@misteramerica5893 we welded mine and the bumper gaps, sealed the panel seems. Made quite the difference
I got to peak my head inside this car in November/December 2004 at King Motorsports. It still had the Mugen K20 in it. King Motorsports told me the short block was assembled at Mugen of Japan and they were NOT allowed to open it. They went on to say it had "Ultra Exotic Mugen Connecting Rods" they were not allowed to see. They said the rods alone were valued at $5,000 USD each rod! When I asked $20,000 for rods alone? I was told "Yes".

Love the DC5. It's lightweight, good handling, high revving engine, easy to maintain, and the timeless style. My all-time favorite.
I did this livery on an S2000 in GT Sport. Living in WI, being a Honda enthusiast, King Motorsports and that car I used to cheer for! Great to see it still rolling!!! And thank you Larry for your time, you amazing person you.

SPEED channel was probably my first time seeing professional racing. I still remember seeing a shot of that old ZR1 Team Corvette ripping in a night race (what might have been a 6hour race or 24h le mans)

Never had a build goal for my 300zx till I learned about GLTC, now GLTC is what I'm building for
I peaked my head inside that RSX at King Motorsports in 2004 when they were installing/tuning my B18C5 Type-R engine. Clayton at King Motorsports told me it had "Ultra Exotic" Mugen connecting rods in it that cost $20,000! He said rods were the only part of the lower end that were allowed to be replaced for that race series, and Mugen was not effing around. He went on to say they were under strict orders from Mugen of Japan to NOT Open that engine up. Even the Mugen dealer was not allowed to touch those Mugen rods.

Here it is now 2024 and I was just telling someone the other day that it blows my mind how so many things from my childhood are becoming popular again! Underglow being one of those things. I don't like them much myself but when they're done right they do look sick. I always thought the lights that attach to the mirrors and shine the car logo straight to the ground are sick. Kinda looks like a little bat signal

Gltc is what I’ve been waiting for since playing prostreet as a kid. I was always super jealous of Australia’s improved production series
It's so nice seeing track built RSX's getting some recognition 🤟🏻 I wasn't able to participate in NOLA with mine this year but I'm hoping next year I'll have a more consistent track schedule 🙌🏻

Really cool to find out this was a race car straight from Acura & it's cool to hear that the car was raced in Canada too. Wish we got more info on suspension & more info on the motor. I was yelling at the screen "Larry pan the camera down!! PAN DOWN" 😭 when the owner was talking about the motor.

Came in the ap1 s2000 first though, we also put them in EP3/02-06 civic si, next to the shifter, there a space for it, but factory block off plate, go to dealership and for not much $ and it fits perfectly like it’s meant to be...
It did but that's not what is in his car. That specific button and part is from the 8th gen CTR. That's the reason it has that extra slot for fogs/traction control. It is what is installed in my 8th gen

I wish they went over suspension setup especially with how finicky their suspension could be
Dude made the mistake of gripping the wheel with his thumbs. You can tell after the impact with the other car that it hurt his left hand a little cause he shakes his left hand after the impact cause when your wheel gets jerked out of your hands in an impact the spokes on the steering wheel can injure or break your thumb. When racing grip the steering wheel with your fingers and palms only and that can't happen.
Also you “let go of wheel if going to impact/wall/spin out, cause it will break your wrists like a pencil.(i.e) he didn’t know he was gonna make contact but YES if every aspect your correct

@Sideways G I've done similar, suspension and brakes with some conti dws all seasons. 94k miles but the body is showing its age now. And my windshield is as pitted as my hood.
@Sideways G I don't even want to boost mine, i think really just the motor out of the tsx with an intake and exhaust, tune it to around 250-275 is what the car should've been all along.

I have one one of these type s getting the clutch and fly wheel replaced its an 03 after 17 years new clutch and flywheel going in

Should replace the clutch master cylinder with a EM1/2000si one, since your doing those other parts, the RSX is known to have these fail and leave you with a clutch pedal does not return to position (dead pedal) FYI

I have the same K-TUNED short shifter. It's serious and I have K-TUNED shifter cables. My RSX doesn't know what relax means.
