Hm. I don’t know. The hints they were dropping like her clothes and toothbrush at his place suggest he and Gwen are an item . Remember Gwen seems awful secretive about him to Miles.
The actual character of Miles Morales would not exist if it weren’t for Childish Gambino. He did a skit where he was in a Spider-Man outfit on the show Community, and fans petition for him to be Spider-Man in the new movies. Sony already had in mind a younger white Peter Parker, but some great comic book writers were like “yeah…. Let’s make Spider-Man black.” And Miles Morales was Born. In movies, anything tied to Miles always has Donald Glover in the movie to honor that.

The penguin stuffed animal is a reference to Gwen from another universe who is a penguin.

Awwwww spider Guin 😂 I love the amount of details like this one on this movie, I want to re watch it at home, as I watched it at the theater with the kids, to stop every frame searching for every Easter egg and to appreciate the whole animation till the minimum detail, it's a masterpiece.

He went through an entire day in his world all the way into night time, traveled into the afternoon in Mumbattan, continued into the afternoon again in Nueva York, and then returned to the nighttime in Earth-42 Manhattan.

No he didn’t - he made the album, eg all of the songs with rappers or vocalists in, Daniel pemberton wrote all the score eg. the prowler theme, gwen’s theme etc. he doesn’t get enough credit cos everyone assumes metro boomin made the whole thing 😢

46:19 the "Spider-Rex" a universe where the meteor DID'NT hit earth, where a pterodactyl ("Pterodactyl Parker" is his name, and a T-Rex named "Norex Osborn(?)" not sure on the name), they get hit by a asteroid, and hey get powers WHILE ALSO switching bodies.
the trex gets the spiderman pattern skin, and the pterodactyl now is the green goblin! (there's also a giga/rex venom, and a few other villains)
We don't know what Miguel injected himself with - it's all conjecture and theories so far.

Hobie's animation change is because he's constantly inconsistent, he's never always the same colors. And him breaking the barrier was just his guitar which he always has on him, cause the police in his world are armed with symbiotes
Miguel has fangs but is not a vampire and he wasn’t gonna kill vulture. He uses it to paralyze enemies. It was just a joke by saying that he is like a vampire since that Vulture is European and vampires originated in Europe.
FunFact: Through the movie Hobie and Pavitar call Miles Peter Pan and Gwen Gwendy shipping them together.

In case you didn’t know, in Miguel’s original universe, his daughter died. So that’s why when he found that opening the the universe where another him died he took it. And when that universe got destroyed that broke him because he basically lost his daughter twice.

Where Hobie and Miles were talking in the society their conversation was actually a warning. From what Rio said to Miles back in earth 1610, his mum feared that the son she was raising will meet individuals who won’t accept him for who he is and he could get emotionally hurt. Some people thought it may be a ethnicity factor as to why she said it but it also links to the storyline…
When Miles was in Miguel’s society, he wanted to be part of the group as he feels that he can fit in… due to the fact that everyone is the ONLY spiderman in their own universe.
However Hobie was warning him *“you’re not ready for everybody else… just don’t enlist till you know what war you’re fighting”* (1:23:00 in the movie). The line foreshadows that the spider society isn’t what you think it is. They ARE superheroes which will save people and their universe at the end of the day, but they prioritise to protect the event of an individuals timeline which could risk a universe from erasing. Hobie thinks that this information was not what Miles would agree on and he was right. Hobie was in the society in the first place as he was “accompanying gwen, strong friends with pavitr but also sneaking tech parts to create his own watch incase something bad happens.

42 is like one of those weird cosmic coincidence numbers. It was the earth the spider came from (and where he ends up), it showed up in the background a couple times in the last movie, and it was the lottery number that got Miles into Visions.
I know there are a bunch of easter eggs... but 42 is also the answer to everything in "The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy".
Miguel's fangs have a paralytic venom so he was just trying to subdue parchment Vulture. Also, in the comics he gained his powers after splicing his DNA with a spider's to stop his addiction to Rapture, a highly addictive drug that fuses to your DNA, and in his universe, spider-man had already existed and died, becoming a legend so I guess Miguel took that mantle after people started mistaking him for the original
This movie was.... too amazing for words. I love Gwen's character journey and I really liked the Spot (even though he was terrifying at the end) And Pavitr.

@@AteezHoney Miguel’s universe is split from 616 peter, it’s the future after peter is long dead. Miguel thinks the world need a Spider-Man again and becomes him due to an accident with his research. Bing bang bomb we got 2099 Spider-Man, no spider sense but stronger physicality. Nueva York is pretty crime free because of how efficient miguel is at scaring people but he’s usually the first spider person dragged into existential multiverse stuff.

I mean, you guys are having this hypothetical about whether or not Miles would save a rando just because, even if he knew it was a canon event, and despite it not being his dad, but he did that already. In this movie. He saved the cop in Pav's world just because that's who he is. I mean, he didn't know about canon events, but I doubt he would have hesitated even if he did. Miles' whole thing is that Spider-Man can do it, no matter what, and if it seems impossible, he'll find a way. I think the fact that Miguel and everyone from the SS don't even try to stop the canon events, like they just went with what Miguel said. There was no critical thinking when it came to this issue, and that's why Miles was so adamant about saving everyone. You have to at least try.

I think Miguel’s situation is different. He caused an incursion by taking his other selfs place. Like Dr.strange was gonna do if he stayed in the other universe he visited. So I think Miguels original universe and the one he went to collided;causing the destruction of both…maybe😅 Which i see as different than Canon events. We’ll see though.

Miles never stole a radioactive spider and like jump into another dimension to take the role of another miles. So yeah I think Miguel messed up. Miles was more of a King pin issue since it was his machine that brought the spider over. And if you notice the collider is in multiple universes so if a villian like king pin messes with it more canon things can become uncanny.
I think it's interesting that earth 42 miles and uncle aaron arent shocked by our miles being there.. Like if you seen another you or someone in your family's and you knew for sure it wasnt them, that would be crazy and you'd probably freak out. Earth 42 uncle aaron even stood there and watched miles glitch out and he didnt even blink, let alone ask what was happening. Do they already know whats going on or is earth 42 with no spiderman just that cold world that not even something like that could catch you slippin lol..
They know he's an impostor and it would be reasonable for them to assume that he means them harm, so they aren't showing any weaknesses to a potential enemy

@@DefiantWithStyleyo i wanted to point out a thing i noticed when i rewatched the movie for the fourth time, whenever spot is talking to miles about how they made each other at the super collider you can see the earth-42 spider get pulled into a portal and it was heading right towards miles in earth 42
theres a theory that miguel ohara acted very "prowler" like, and if you pay close attention, miguels color pallette changes to green and purple on like a couple scenes. its just a theory tho.

For most of the film, Gwen was homeless (universe wise). And Hobie was just being a good homie; partially looking out for this homeless girl, partially making sure the Spider Society did not get another believer of that canon bs out of Gwen the dilemmatic newbie.
out of any hero SPIDERMAN is 100% SELFLESS he puts everyone first before himself, and would definitely risk his own life to save anyone.

This is a nice reaction, it was a beautiful well done movie, one of the best of this year, i would say the best together with puss in boots (I lost my orange cat so let me put them together, I loved our chubby puss in boots 😅) the only two good movies from this year, miles animated movies, till today are a beautiful piece of art, the plot, the characters, the works and attention they pay to every detail, even a small detail about our miles and miles/prowler difference between their accent is something not many teams do... the playlist, the interactions between miles and his parents, Pavitr, Hobbie... as captain morales said "i can't start because i wouldn't end"... just amazing well job done, chapeau ❤
Ps. So much love to hobbie and Pavitr, the development of this two beautiful characters was an improvement here.

I’m pretty sure Miguel’s universe is fine. I think it’s the one the Spider Society is based in, actually. They only said he “found a universe where a version of him was happy and replaced him.” It was only that universe that was destroyed. His home universe is probably fine and he probably went back to it after the other universe collapsed.

I thought of a "plot hole" which is probably intentional and will be explained in the third installment. Miles disrupts a cannon event where The Spot was to kill the Indian Captain. Yet Miguel says The Spot should never have been created. So what's up with that. I suspect it's a hint that the cannon event lore is BS. Miguel may be lying.
canon events can be extensions of anomalies. the spot is an extension of miles and so that created miles’ dad’s death being set in place, so it creates more canon events. it’s a domino effect

Spider man canon may not apply as strongly to Miles Morales because he was bitten by an alternate dimension spider. Gwen's canon also may not apply as strongly as Spider Gwen is a spiderperson, AND she and Miles aren't from the same universe a relationship can avoid the Spiderman always loses Gwen or vice versa as Spider Gwen already lost her Peter Parker...
