Alright, here's my The Plan: Get a keyboard intended for use with 3D printed cases (Corne, Sofle, etc.). 3D print a plastic case, make a silicone mold, then use the mold to make a concrete version. Never even buy a real case.

That's pretty sweet. I'd love to see this revisited in future but comparing the results of a polishing as well as an epoxy coated version. That way you could have a nice keyboard on your desk that won't leave concrete dust all over the place.
I was thinking it would break in half, but it didn't. If you plan on doing this again though a sheet of fine mesh chicken wire to reinforce the bottom would be a good addition I think, other than that do a better job of shaking it / vibrating it so you don't get the pock marks / air bubble marks on the edges. Awesome job still tho!
You'll have to maintain the proper depth of the mesh inside the concrete for it to work. There's an easier way to reinforce it - the fiber additive, which you just mix in.
For next time, you might want to lube a bit the silicone so the concrete is easier to remove :) I love the result I actually might do it myself too lol

Is it actually concrete, or just the cement? Cause I think if you put any aggregate into the cement, which actually makes up concrete, it would be too course for any details of the case.

actually the mold didn’t break, silicone bends under pressure instead of cracking so it looks like his mold was perfectly fine!

I've heard some people call aluminium boards a brick, but this time it's actually a brick.

oh yea i bought the wrong mix, only found out there were different mixes when it was curing but i was super surprised when i saw the final result

Looks sick but it would have come out better with release agent. Also some vibration helps with the air bubbles
if you take fiberglass or hemp or several other possible fibers and put them in your concrete mix, it acts like rebar
