Nice review mate ,if you had to pick between the redcat gen8 v2 and the Element RC Enduro Sendero Trail Truck which one would you pick. Keep in mind you can only have one truck.

Thanks! Just one truck; that depends on the purpose:
Sendero HD for rock crawling, without hesitation.
If just doing trail driving without any particular focus on rock crawling performance, the Gen 8 V2 is the better choice.

@@RCTNT Tuff choice the majority of my driving will rock crawling with some trail driving. I think maby the senduro might be the better choice. I am only new to this rock crawling, I brought a cheep Chinese truck but it's just to jerky and the gearing is not low enough.

      I feel you.
The Gen 8 V2 is nicely made and has great accommodations throughout for trail mods and fun. It's a tough platform and has a heft to it that the Sendero HD is somehow lacking.
However, the Sendero HD is the most capable RTR vehicle on the rocks I've ever removed from a box. The 16T 5-slot motor is excellent, its servo is better than the one on the Gen 8 V2 and its stock mild overdrive of 5.8% is just right for rocks. The tires are better than on the Gen 8 V2 as well.
The Sendero's body isn't as durable as the Gen 8 V2 body, but if you lightly modify the truck (I have a video about that, check out my Sendero HD playlist) it'll hold up just fine.
Anyway, good luck with your decision. In your shoes I'd also be having a hard time. Knowing what I know, and with the rock crawling performance, I think I'd decide on the Sendero, but the Gen 8 V2 is a worthy choice too! Good luck!

@@RCTNT Thanks mate appreciate the advice. I've been watching the Gen8 that you have been doing so I definitely will be looking closer at your sendero videos. It's hard to find good Australian videos on rc crawlers.
Thanks will send a pic of my choice.

1:38 was that the famous "Scandinavian flick"? 😅😂🤣😜😝🤭
I don't know if you know anything about WRC? I guess you probably do, since there is RC in the name 😂
It was so funny to see the offscreen disappointment, 😁👌

Yep, know it and have used it, on occasion, in rc and real life (gotta test things that sound counter intuitive like that, can't just hear about it and not give it a go!) :)

You didn't wash your tires, did you

    • @RCTNT

That's right, not washed. At least not yet - trying to make it an out of the box experience for clarity on reasonable expectations for the average new driver.

Hey Graig I Don’t know where you are but I’d be more than happy to come help To make Track even better and make look really good, especially to increase your views, if your not to far away, As a trade I can use the Track.

You're not wrong, and thank you. I'm going to leave this as it is for now as I'm hoping to build a bigger and better track in the not too distant future with the help of heavy equipment. This will serve in the meantime - though you're absolutely right about the value of visual appeal! Thanks.
