I love your videos, Tom. You always find someone interesting to talk to, and get them to open up to you. I would have loved to hear from someone local who is against the proposal, even though you outlined the case very well. Building a car factory 🏭 in the Green Belt in order to get the use of the stadium might be a Faustian bargain. Walking slowly past the "No ball games" sign on the side of the Ship Lane stadium (at 05:25 in the video) was a particularly fine touch! What's next for you? Back to Barnet for the playoffs?
To be honest nobody in Aveley is against GAFC getting Ship Lane, (but it is not in Grays) the PDI comes with baggage, 6 DC's on land opposite the PDI, the PDI and DC's would effectively make Ship Lane a no go area, (pretty much as it is if the M25 or A13 have incidents or busy times at Lakeside, when local roads are affected), reducing the accesses and exits of Aveley, which could see increased traffic in the village, with the loss of green belt, possible environmental damage and obviously air quality in an area where it is already poor are pretty much the reasons for us being against the projects.
@@TFSS To be honest them being homeless is pretty much down to them, they knew 2 decades before that one day the developers would be back, they did little to preserve their status, with the coming and going's of sugar daddies through the golden years, when the time came, they had little to offer but the faithful band of supporters who stay committed.

Thanks for watching! I’ll be at the Hive on Tuesday!
@@TFSS That looks like an extremely local derby against Boreham Wood, with the lucky winner going on to play at Notts County. Good luck!!!
Read my comments for an idea about how a local feels 👍
@@TFSS Not looking good at half-time. ☹ 0-2
1-2 at full-time.
4140 more minutes in the National League. 😢
@@Toxophilus BWood were better organized unfortunately, we go again next year!

Yea I definitely get that, it’s a shame there isn’t a way into true stadium without going through the car company.
Great video young man, sums up the situation perfectly.
