Absolutely fucking brilliant guys, guess where me and boys gonna go for our non league game when we take another trip to the island for a long weekend football trip :D
Great to see you doing so well there Farnham. My home town club are also going about things the same as you. Ramsgate is my home town club, they’re currently top of the Isthmian South East, regularly pulling in crowds of 1000+ and they are building a great community spirit. Hopefully they’ll go up to the Isthmian prem for next season.
I started going to watch non-league as it had a sense of community spirit that the professional clubs have lost in the modern era. I now support a members-owned club that is treated as an asset for the local community. If the guys on the exec were to start talking about us in terms of us "being a business" or "an entertainment brand", I would stop bothering.
Agree, that bit came across a litte harsh, but i'd say he's just speaking plainly about what happens behind the scenes. not often you hear about marketing stratergies revealed so bluntly. Catering to the needs of the supporters still seems to be a clear vision. Pricing i would say is very important beacuse it still has to reamin afforable for the community but at the same time it requires profit to reinvest and grow the club. But yes i agree that his termenology made it seem that he views eveyone just as £10, he seems up for the banter, and not too concerend about being politically correct. This is a great interview and impressed with Furnham Town!
As a Hashtag supporter, I absolutely love what Farnham are doing and I hope more teams get on this kind of philosophy. I'm in my 50s and I love the direction that these guys are taking football. So many people shout it down, trying to say it's ruining their game. They must be mad, cos from where I'm sitting, this is exactly what the game needs and it's starting to bring back so much of what used to be great about the game. So many clubs are failing and folding. The more clubs that get the idea and move into the 21st century, the happier I will be. On another note, I really hope the day comes when Farnham and the Tags get to meet in a proper match. That would be epic.

I can't remember which Football youtuber I saw it from, but starting at the very bottom of English Football, it would take 19yrs to get to the premier league. Of course that is with winning each year. I do not know how far down Farnham are but just an interesting fact.
What a great story, a football club that is on the up, with a clear plan to progress on and off the pitch. I'm heavily involved at Welling United,I cover the PA on home games and I provide online commentary for our away games. I'm going to follow Farnham on RUclips, a great story
Thank you for highlighting this innovative approach and I hope more clubs learn from Farnham. I just added their RUclips channel. I am a new fan... an American living in Mexico!
I'm a Spurs fan because Spurs is not one of the oil clubs; and the club support grows organically. Seeing someone coming to Farnham with a business mindset to grow the brand is refreshing and reminds me of how Spurs has grown. Will definitely go seeing Farnham one day.

Non league football looks like such a fun thing to goto. If I ever get a chance to visit England I’d love to goto this. Chili and a beer and a game. Count me in haha.
The more investment in local clubs the better. Football at the top level isn't football anymore. It's entertainment for TV and the connection with the community has completely gone
After watching the first few seconds I was really cynical (maybe I’m biased as a Jersey Bulls supporter - who ironically are taking a similar approach), but everything he says makes complete sense. They’ve earned their momentum on the pitch and are riding it in the stands. Needs to be more owners like this.

There's an irony here. At what level does a club cease to be a community club and just another one vying for the FL ? What happens if a L2 side makes the PL (which is the age old dream of fans) and starts increasing prices/catering to the sudden influx of converts /pushing the old support out ? PL clubs dont-and dont need-to give a toss about fans. "Don't like the £1k price for our most affordable season ticket ? Must admit-if Maidenhead got to the PL I wouldn't really be as interested in them as I am now-a semi pro side punching above their weight in an old style ground. I ironically dont want them to ever get higher than L1 or L2 with the NL being ideal. Some would say traitor etc,but I only like old style football matches. I have zero interest in the PL.As a kid I could list every FA Cup winner /FL Champions from the 19th century onwards. Now I haven't a clue and couldn't care less. I know its one of the "Big" clubs, but what year-no idea-honestly.

Remember them back in 1987 knocking Scarborough out of the F A Trophy thanks to Paul Moody, and Boro won the Conference that season.

What a great way to run a club imo. Only wish my ex-non league club was run by people with his attitude and acumen.
It's working well for them that's for sure. Who's your old club?
Well done to them on winning this League.😮
Onto next season for them.😅
Impressive business acumen, but where's the soul? That's the question I'm left with.
Well, why don't you go and check it out? You may find it beyond the turnstile.
They arent the only team in europe with 100% though....where are they getting that info from?
Brilliant.
So how much is the investment ?
I'd go there and spend 10 quid, if I didn't live in Canada.
Haha it's defo worth £10 if you're ever over this way!
Lots of clubs could take note of this...
So this is where half of the sidemen went to during the $10,000 vs $10 video on football?
Correct 👍
